8 Chapter 8

While we were on the way I didn't forget about those two ninjas of the hidden mist who were following us and kept my guard up, I had confidence in dealing with them...even the noobie Sasuke could deal with them in the original much less me who has practiced hand to hand combat with 100s of my clones for the last 3 months for 24 hours a day...I could be said to be somewhat of a master in Taijutsu at this point.

It's just that I don't have knowledge on how to open the gates at the moment and Lee would definitely not share this technique with me and would instead grow cautious of me instead if I asked him about it cause it was something that only he and his teacher were aware of that he knew that technique...as a result I've reached a plateau in my training.

After walking for 2-3 hours when we were very far from the leaf village we saw a water puddle on our way...I knew that the ninjas have made a mood and stayed on guard. Kakashi also noticed it but didn't say anything as he moved forward.

When we all passed from the puddle two ninjas suddenly appeared from that water puddle and attacked Kakashi slicing him into pieces. Everyone else except me was shocked by what just happened. We all moved back to create some distance from the assailants...I was getting ready to beat the shit out of the person who comes at me now but unlike my expectations...he went for Sakura instead of me.

"KYAAAAAA" Sakura screamed...like always.

'Fuck' I thought to myself and moved quickly towards Sakura and quickly blocked the attack on her with my Kunai and sent a high kick towards the chin of the person...My speed had increased by quite a lot thanks to the speed training I did with Lee and made my clones do every day during the last 3 months.

The ninja was shocked seeing my speed and before he could react he was knocked out by me. His companion was shocked seeing my ability and decided to escape from the situation...but before he could do it Kakashi appeared before him and knocked him down.

"Sakura you need to work more on yourself as a ninja and not lose your composure when you're sneaked attack...losing your composer is the last thing a ninja should do while in a battle." Kakashi said and continued "Good work Naruto, you're improving at a fast pace." Kakashi said not revealing that he was amazed at Naruto's speed which might be more than him now.

Then turning towards Tazuna Kakashi said..."Tazuna san we need to talk here...you didn't mention that ninjas were after you while giving the mission details to the village. This should be classified as a B-rank mission and not a C-rank."

Tazuna tried explaining to us how his village was poor and all and how they couldn't afford a B-rank mission but when he saw it didn't work and Kakashi was planning to go back...he started his emotional blackmailing...talking about how sad his grandson would be if he dies and how his daughter would develop deep hatred towards the leaf village for not helping them in their times of need....

Kakashi finally gave in and agreed to protect him at least till they reach the wave country and so we began our journey towards the wave country on a boat after traveling on land for three days.
