Why did I get cocky and fight against a super powered Sage?

If I could go back to the past I would certainly kill my past self.

Damn him!

I was currently in bed with bandage all over my body which made me look like a mummy.

It's already been a month and finally I was starting to recover.

That Elder Sage is a hax, I will tell you that. His serene mind practically dominated my Serene Mind. It was like comparing a lake to an ocean. Maybe it was due to the level difference as well.

He straight up came and one shoted me. No warning what so ever.

And on top of that, whatever he did disabled my Gamer Body until I naturally recovered.

I was quickly taken by Fuhaku where he and his wife took care of me... which was a nightmare.

Urgg... thinking about all those bugs they forcefully fed me....

Training with Jiraya was like heaven compared to this.

And I can still remember his mocking gaze. He's supposed to be a wise old geezer who would be magnanimous, not a troll like this...

After one more week my Gamer Body was finally restored and I was healed.

"Akira-chan, so you have finally healed up. Let us hurry and start our training in Sage Arts now that you are a Sage now." Fuhaku said as he ushered me to follow him.

We finally reached a baren area suitable for training.

"First you will be learning the Toad Kata which you must be familiar with, right?"

Oh... how could I bloody not be familiar with it? I practically dodged the damn attack of that Elder Sage but I got hit so bad I was sent crashing through several pillars of boulders. And the worst part was that it was only 20% of his strength.

I had finally found out that Sage Mode's physical attacks weren't physical at all. They were imbued with nature itself so it bypassed my Wild Lands skill.

Talk about an overpowered Taijutsu. The anime had not done justice with the skill. Naruto's Toad Kata was like a child compared to the Elder Sage.

"Yes Fuhaku-san..." I answered in a depressed tone. Who would be happy remembering about how you got your ass handed to you?

"Alright then... the first thing is that Toad Kata can only fully utilised in Sage Mode since it's main ability is strengthening the nature energy inside you and making it an extension of yourself. Since you have the Serene Mind there are further applications to it. As you have realised, when Elder Sage hit you even with just a minor amount of power..." I nearly fainted when he said minior amount of power. That power was no minor amount at all!

"Your Wild Lands was totally useless, right?" I nodded. Yes, even if it wasn't a physical attack Wild Lands gave me the power of earth itself. I should have been pretty sturdy.

"It's because Toad Kata mainly focuses on fully utilising the full potential of aspect of water, Serene Mind. The water's main property is to bypass defense and it's also the natural opposition of earth element. Do you get what I am saying, Akira-chan?" I finally had an understanding of what the hell happened.

Just because I had Serene Mind Lvl Max didn't mean I could completely utilise it. I needed some kind of catalyst to empower it and relay it as an output. The Toad Kata was the perfect catalyst to display the might of Serene Mind which I experienced first hand.

"It seems you understand by the constipated look you are having, Akira-chan." Fuhaku teased me.

We had begun our training on Toad Kata but it was extremely hard. I couldn't even learn the basic. The Serene Mind version of Toad Kata was totally different than the normal one. Fuhaku could only help me with understanding some hard concept of Toad Kata as he didn't possess the Serene Mind to fully guide me.

As for the Elder Sage, I didn't go near that crazy old geezer. I don't want to die so early, I had yet to take the virginity of Naruko and Hinata after all.

It had been one and a half month, I had finally learned the damed thing. While leaning the Toad Kata which actually merged with my Drunken Fist Taijutsu. I also managed to level up quite a bit training with other great toads.

I managed to learn many skills but that will be a surprise for now.

Drunken Toad Kata Lvl Max (Passive) - An extreme form of Taijutsu which is only able to show it's full potential in Sage Mode. While in Sage Mode every movement of the user will bring forth hallucinating effect due to the unpredictable series of attacks.

Sage Mode 450 VIT 450 STR 450 DEX. Fist of Still Water skill gained.

Fist Of Still Water Lvl Max (Active) - It is a skill formed from the Toad Kata and can only be utilised with Serene Mind.
