69 Judgement

The Angel Faction was in turmoil. They were running around like a headless chicken now.

How did it all happen? For that, we will have to go back to five months earlier.

Griselda, after returning to her Faction from the ordeal she went through with Akira had a lot to think about.

She still believed that Akira had some kind of ploy regarding the matter with the children. The children were too happy.

But was it wrong? Her motherly instinct reminded her that she wanted to free the children from Akira so they could be happy.

And there were certain revelations that Akira had just given her. The Angels were using the children as a tool for their agenda?

She had never felt her faith being shaken like this. Even more so when she didn't fall after doing such a sinful act with him.

That signified that it wasn't considered a sin. Was he really such a compassionate person?

It only made her believe more so when she saw the children. Now, she had to see if what Akira said to her was true.

She couldn't believe it. She had asked for the audience with Michael. She consulted with him regarding the current state of children in the orphanage.

She wanted them to be able to choose their own future path. But Michael, he just said that they were destined for greater things so their purpose is to serve the light.

After slowly seeing the conditions of the children and how the Angel Faction really operated, she was beginning to believe Akira.

And what really got her blood boiling is due to the event she had just found out about.

They had been experimenting on the children. They were experimenting so that the children would be able to harness for holy energy which resulted in many of their death.

The cherry on the top? She found out that it was the direct order from Michael as he wanted to secure good fighting power to fight if the Nekoshou Faction attacked them.

Now, currently she was detained and brought in front of Micheal and all the Seraph in heaven for judgement.

She had sabotaged all the experiments, killing the ones in charge of it. She also killed many Angels who were on the plan.

It seems that indirect involvement with sin doesn't make an Angel fall since none of the Angels had fallen after doing such an atrocious things.

Griselda also spread the news of the Gods death. The Angel Faction was in total pandemonium.

All the present looked at the culprit with stern expression except for Gabriel who was crying as she thought Griselda had strayed away from the path of light.

"Do you have any idea what you have done?" Michael said with silent fury.

Griselda glared at him, "I should be asking you that. You people are no Angels but beasts. You experimented on children!"

Gabriel had her eyes widened due to shock, "Is that true brother?"

Michael couldn't lie as Angels were unable to lie, "Yes... but it was all for the greater purpose. The children were destined to aid the light."

Griselda shouted in anger, "WHAT GIVES THE RIGHT TO DECIDE THAT? HOW COULD YOU ROB THEM OF THEIR FUTURE?"

Gabriel couldn't believe that her brother was doing these sort of things. She looked around and saw that eveyone except her knew about it.

'How could they do such a thing? Did Father's death change them all into this?' Gabriel thought with sadness.

"We are the keeper of light so it is our right to decide their future. Now, it is time to judge you for your crimes. You are hereby sentenced to Cocytus for eternity." Michael announced.

Before they could do anything Gabriel came to Griselda and stood in front of her protectively.

"What are you doing, sister? Why are you protecting that heretic?" Uriel asked.

"I am not going to let you punish her. You all have strayed away from the path Father guided us. We were made to serve and guide them... not use them like this." Gabriel said heatedly.

"The times have changed, sister. We are only doing this for the greater good. If you still insist on protecting that heretic then we will have to judge you as well." Michael said in a calm tone.

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

A series of clapping was heard. All the present people looked at the person who had just teleported beside Griselda and was clapping with amusement.

"The Angel Faction is really fucked up."

Akira said as he excluded power that made all the Male Seraphs tremble.

"Trying to mess with one of my women and soon to be woman, eh?"
