21 Tension

"So Zoro, can you please pass me the scroll?" Jiraiya asked.

"It's Yama, Zoro is no longer necessary." Yama passed the scroll to Jiraiya.

Jiraiya looked at the seal to check if it was intact. The seal was intact, so he nodded and put it in his pocket. He didn't want to read the information on the scroll in front of so many people.

"So, how did you get this scroll, Yama?"

"I don't think any of you know this, but I'm from Konoha too. Yama Inuzuka is my full name."

"We already suspected you were from Konoha." Jiraiya nodded.

"I haven't made many friends there, but I have a few, well, two to be exact. Long story short, I was in Kiri a few days ago and I luckily found them when they were attacked by some Kiri shinobi.

"I was able to rescue them and send them back to Konoha for medical attention, and I decided to continue their mission and bring you the scroll. But a hot-blooded, red-eyed idiot decided to attack us on our way, but he was weak and wasn't able to do shit." Yama decided to tease Fugaku a little, knowing that Jiraiya wouldn't let him act up.

Pakura's anxiety shot through the roof. She was sitting in the middle of people who had the power to kill her as soon as they wanted, but Yama didn't care and called one of them an idiot to his face.

Fugaku glared at Yama and was about to say something, but Jiraiya spoke first.

"My goodness, no need for such harsh words, we're all from Konoha." Then he looked at Pakura and added. "Well, almost all of us, and would you please tell us how you met Miss Pakura."

"Well, I don't want to go into details, I just know that she is no longer part of the Sand Village, but is my partner."

Jiraiya was curious how Yama got the heroine of the sand village Pakura to leave her village and join him. He was also envious of Yama's luck in getting a beauty like Pakura at such a young age.

"Since you're here, how about helping us in the war against Kumo. We could really use the help of someone as strong as you. There are three monsters in Kumo that are extremely difficult to deal with. The Raikage, his son and the Jinchuriki of the Eight Tails. But with you here, we can wrap things up pretty quickly."

"Why should I help you?" Asked Yama.

Jiraiya hadn't expected that question. "For Konoha, for your village, for your clan."

"I have done much more for the village than you can imagine. If we look at all my accomplishments, I'm sure it's more than some red-eyed bastard or maybe even you. The number of enemy shinobi I've killed is no joke. What has the village done for me? Why should I help the village any more than I already have?

"Did the village give me a safe place to live? No, it sent my friends and family to war. What has the village done for the clans that live in it besides send us to war? The red-eyed freak has it worse than us. His whole clan is discriminated against and yet they have to fight and die for the village that hates them.

"As for my clan, I will take care of them once I return to Konoha. You don't have to worry about them."

As he said that, the situation became much more tense. Fugaku knew that what Yama said was true and his heart hurt when he said that. It hurt even more when he heard someone else say it to his face.

Jiraiya was also speeches. He knew that the Uchiha's were discriminated against, but he would rather not talk about it, especially in front of the head of the Uchiha clan.

"Fugaku, doesn't your blood boil when you hear a bastard like him talk about sacrificing your life for the village while they treat you worse than a dog in the village. Jiraiya, don't give me that 'do it for the village' talk. You're not Hiruzen, you're not good with your words." He said as he released a bit of Conquerors Haki.

Yama tried to suggest Fugaku to work with him and bring down the village. Yama wasn't planning on overthrowing the village, but he was planning on putting pressure on the village to let them know not to mess with him or the uchiha clan.

"If you want me to fight Kumo, then give me an incentive to do so." There was a long silence in the room.

"Name your price, I am interested in working with you." Fugaku spoke.

Jiraiya was starting to get worried, he could clearly understand what was going on. An alliance that could potentially topple Konoha was being formed right in front of his face and there was nothing he could do about it.

If he tried to stop them now, and if they rose up and started attacking Konoha along with Iwa and Kumo Konoha would have no chance of surviving.

Pakura and the other jounin found it hard to stay in the room because of the tension between these three individuals.

Yama looked at Fugaku and smiled. "Two Uchiha, I would like to take two Uchihas of my choice and train them and of course I would like to work more with you in the future."

Fugaku frowned a little when he heard the request, but he finally agreed. He didn't care if the Inuzuka clan allied with him or not, what he wanted most was an alliance with Yama.

Yama looked to be about 13 or maybe 14 years old, but his strength was almost as great as his own. Even before Yama suggested it, he had already thought about overthrowing the village.

He was sure that Yama would reach the Kage level in the future, and having a Kage level shinobi to help him overthrow Konoha was worth the sacrifice of two Uchiha.

The two shook hands. "I hope we have a long working relationship."
