33 Meeting the clan head again

Hiruzen saw Yama's attitude and let out a sigh. "He is going to be a pain to deal with."

Yama, pakura, and Friday went to Yama's house. Yama had sent a message to his mom saying he had departed from Kumo and heading home along with Kumo shinobi, so she was expecting him to arrive a day later.

Yama knocked on the door. A few seconds later he could hear some footsteps. Luna wasn't expecting anyone to visit today so she was wondering who came to her place.

The scent of the person was kind of familiar to her but she quite couldn't put her finger on it yet. She opened the door and when she saw Yama she was completely surprised.

She pulled him into a tight hug. He also hugged her back.

"Mom, I am home."

"Mhm, took you ages I missed you so much." She said with tears leaking through the corner of her eyes.

"Don't worry mom I won't be leaving anytime soon."

"I won't let you leave even if you want to."

Friday was also wagging his tail excitedly waiting for his turn to get petted.

Luna let go of Yama and spread her hand towards Friday. Friday immediately jumped into her arms.

"I missed you too, little guy. Did Yama take good care of you? You look so cute and I can tell you have also gotten a lot stronger."

Friday was squealing with happiness.

After petting Friday for a bit she let go of him and looked at Pakura.

"And she is?"

"Ah... She is the girl I told you about in the letter."

"Oh, the hero of Sunagakure Pakura or should I say former hero of Sunagakure. I heard you left your village."

Pakura bowed a little. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, aunty, Yama talks about you a lot. As for the sunagakure situation, it's more accurate to say that the village abandoned me."

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, please come inside."

The four of them entered the home.

"You guys wash up a little I will quickly prepare some food for you guys if you had informed me that you would reach home today I would have prepared few things for you."

"It's fine mom, you don't need to do anything special, just your usual cooking is perfect."

"The two of us have a lot of catching up to do, so from the start tell me everything about your journey."

The three of them spent the entire day talking with each other.

Later that evening the shinobi that were in battle against Iwa arrived at the village. That included people like Orochimaru, Fugaku, Kakashi, Guy, Duy and many others.

Iwa heard the Kumo's plan about signing a peace treaty after one final battle against Konoha and focusing their attention on Iwa. So instead they signed a peace treaty with Konoha even before Kumo and now they outnumbered the raikage and his group by a large margin.

Orochimaru, Fugaku and the others went to the Hokage's office to submit a report and Yama went to meet the clan head of the Inuzuka clan.

*knock knock*

Tsume opened the door. She was holding a small child in her arms. When she saw Yama at the door a huge smile formed on her face.

"I didn't expect you to reach here so I thought you were going to arrive tomorrow."

"I arrived a little early and is this cute little girl, my niece?"

"Yes, her name is Hana."

"Can I hold her for a bit?"

"Of course."

Yama carried Hana and slowly moved her back and forth. "Little Hana, uncle didn't bring you any gifts but next time I come to visit you I will make sure to buy some gifts for you."

Tsume's husband walked into the room. "Welcome back to Konoha brother in law."

"Haha, thank you, and congratulations to the two of you for giving birth to this cute little angel."

Yama handed Hana back to Tsume.

"Nee-chan, I need to meet Uncle Takauji, is he in his room?"

"No, father is in the clan meeting room."

Yama went to the clan meeting room to meet the clan head. He opened the door and saw Takauji writing something on a piece of paper.

"It's been a while since I last saw you uncle."

Takauji came over and hugged Yama.

"You have grown up a lot since I last saw you."

"And you look young as ever uncle."

"Haha, so how was the war like for you, tell me about your journey."

The two of them talked for a bit. Yama told him a few this about his experience and Takauji told him about things going on in Konoha. He told Yama about the elders coming to meet him to ask for information about him, his son in law, being a grandfather and other small talk.

"So what brought you here today, do you have something you want to talk about or did you just come here to meet your uncle."

"Both, I wanted to meet sister, my niece and also my uncle and I also have something that I want to discuss with you."

"What is it?"

"I won't beat around the bush and get straight to the point, I want to be the new clan head of Inuzuka clan."

Takauji chuckled a bit. "Don't worry young man you are the greatest genius our clan has ever seen the clan head position is yours in the future but currently you are too young. Wait a couple of years and the position is yours."

Yama shook his head. "We don't have time to wait for a couple of years. The things in Konoha aren't as peaceful as it seems, and I plan on shaking things a bit and the Hokage, Danzo and the other two elders might not be so fond of my action and they might be a little hostile."

Takauji frowned a little when he heard Yama. "What are you talking about? What do you plan to do?"
