21 Chapter 21: Zabuza Beheaded!

Seeing the water puddle, Sasuke knew something was amiss. Leaving aside Tazuna and Sakura, everyone has already noticed the abnormality.

Without waiting, Sasuke directly formed hand seals for the great fireball jutsu. Due to his mastery over fire nature, the C-rank jutsu was equivalent to that of a B-rank one.

The Chunnin duo were surprised by the sudden attack. They knew they had been busted and immediately jumped out but were a bit late. The fireball has already reached them causing severe burns.

Sakura, Tazuna and Kakashi were also surprised. Sakura and Tazuna by the sudden attack and the appearance of two ninjas, and Kakashi by the mastery over fire nature displayed by Sasuke.

Sasuke flickered to the injured Chunnin, without giving them any chance for retaliation, he impaled them with his sword on their back. The attack was precise, effectively disabling them.

Now that the two of them were disabled, he backed off and motioned for Kakashi to take over the situation.

Kakashi seeing the signal took over and interrogated and got out the information about being Gato's men. They didn't rat out Zabuza's name, which impressed Naruto for the loyalty shown by these two.

After the interrogation was over, they asked Tazuna about this. Tazuna came out clean about the situation in the Land of Waves. Hearing those words brought a frown to Team Seven's face.

Kakashi was used to the brutality of wars but for the rest of them, it was new. Even Naruto was surprised by the words and there was a hidden anger underneath his calm facade.

'Anime didn't tell even 1% of what horrendous crime that Gato is committing. I might be indifferent to the suffering of the world. I know there are a lot of places suffering like this. I am not a liberator and some can even call me Hypocrite but I do what I want. I just go with the flow, and this time I am feeling pissed off.

Gato and all his accomplices will have to pay and I will make sure that the whole town will get a chance for vengeance.'

"We will help you Tazuna, whether you deceived us or not I don't care, but now that I know that something like this is happening, I will not sit and watch." saying that Naruto looked towards Kakashi.

Kakashi was also surprised by those words and then a small smile came to his face. 'Sure enough, he is not being influenced by the Nine Tails.'

"What about Sasuke and Sakura? The mission details were wrong and we can cancel the mission at any time. We don't know what kind of dangerous situation you might find yourself in."

Sasuke just nodded to go forward with the mission. Sakura wanted to refuse but seeing her Sasuke kun agree, she also reluctantly nodded. With that, Kakashi called for an Anbu using a special flare and gave them the injured bodies of the two chunnin.

Team Seven and Tazuna were on their way towards Land of Waves, with Tazuna casting a grateful glance towards Naruto every now and then.

The atmosphere changed as the mist started covering the surroundings. They reached near the shore, where they needed to get a boat to cross and reach the Land of Waves.

Just before they could move ahead, Kakashi shouted.

"Duck down!"

Sasuke, Sakura and Tazuna all ducked down meanwhile Naruto had already stepped aside from the path of the sword.

Just as he used his observation to check for any other Ninjas aside from Haku and Zabuza which he had already sensed a long time ago, his expression changed.

It was time for a low tide. When he covered the surroundings with his observation haki, he encountered a structure which blocked his haki.

This was the first time for him experienced this.

'I can block other's observation haki but never knew something else can also block mine. Even those sealed places in the village cannot escape my haki, then how come I got a structure here that is blocking my Haki? Interesting, gotta check it out.' Naruto has a bewildered expression which changed to a thinking one. These changes didn't go unnoticed, by his team and the new addition Zabuza.

'What is this idiot thinking, based on his strength, this Zabuza isn't strong enough for these expressions. Something is wrong here.' thought Sasuke as he got ready to fight Zabuza.

"Kakashi Hatake, the copy Ninja, didn't know you were responsible for escorting that man. No wonder the chunnins sent before didn't return."

"Zabuza Momochi, the demon of the hidden mist. Are you involved with the Merchant Gato? Didn't know someone of your calibre has to fall so low."

"We all do what the mission demands. I have taken the mission from Gato, so I will complete it to my best. But your genin squad doesn't look so bright, that red haired brat is already lost because of the fear my presence instilled in him."

His words made all of them look towards Naruto who still seemed to be lost in his own world. This made Kakashi a little disappointed.

"Kakashi, I don't have anything to do with you. Hand over that man, and you can protect your genin squad from me." Zabuza picked up his blade and was in a position to start the battle.

"Protecting him is our mission, and a ninja doesn't back down from his mission. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke you protect Tazuna." Kakashi also got ready for the battle.

"It seems I will have to start from that distracted brat, it will do him well to depart for the pure land without feeling much pain."

Meanwhile, when Naruto heard his name, he came out of his thoughts and looked towards Zabuza.

"I don't have time to play with you now, I have something more important." Naruto casually said before tapping near his chest and a couple of fuinjutsu seals spread around his body. Everyone stared at Naruto at the amazing scene that was happening. Even Zabuza forgot to move when he watched that scene.

A sword appeared around Naruto's waist. Yes, it was Gryphon which Naruto got from the System. Then his clothes started changing. The process looked just like the scene from Infinity Wars, where Tony Stark used Nanotechnology to design his suit.

A white shirt appeared with open buttons around his chest, which showed others his well-developed chest. On the lower part, a black pant appeared with black shoes. Yes, he wasn't wearing Ninja sandals now. A purple cloak also appeared fluttering with the wind.

Naruto's whole persona changed at that moment. The transformation looked really badass. Although incompatible with Ninja's activities, this getup was badass and made everyone in awe and jealous.

Naruto suddenly vanished from everyone's view and appeared behind Zabuza with his sword out.

Zabuza turned around, he was startled, he felt something pass by and didn't even have the time to retaliate. But seeing that the red-haired brat was just standing with his back facing him and his sword out, he let out a sigh.

"What? forgot to use the sword, brat" Zabuza scoffed at the posing Naruto. One has to agree, he was really a good poser. Everyone has this inner wish to look cool during battle.

"Huh? You have already been cut" Naruto said in an emotionless voice. After saying that he started sheathing his sword.

"What are you s.." Zabuza wanted to ask but in between his words a red line appeared on his neck.

As soon as Naruto fully sheathed his sword, Zabuza's head rolled off his neck.
