[Outside the Hospital…]

"Ren, You may not realize it, but this is the happiest day of my life; I can finally apply for an Elder post, which means I won't have to follow anyone's orders anymore and will be able to hire my own ninja."

After Hospital, haruto shushined to the elder Quarter and then to his father's office, where his father, who is in charge of the clan's logistics, and an old acquaintance were waiting for him.

(A/N: In my fic For Hyūga shinobi are only promoted to Elders when they became Jounin and when their children are marked with the Cursed seal.)

"Father"

Haruto was Interrupted by his father's glare.

"Elder, ummm Because Rise and I had a baby, I've come to apply for my Elder position, and according to the clan rulebook, any special jounin couple can apply for the elder post "Haruto exclaimed to his father, with a touch of longing for the position of Elder.

He was quite clear about how badly he wanted to change his status quota.

He vividly recalls being out of line when he spoke to one of the elders, who, despite the fact that his father is also an elder, used cursed techniques on him and tortured him for 3 WHOLE HOURS in front of his peers.

Now he can't wait for promotion and no longer be envies Hyuga Elders.

"Try to become jounin before sitting on elder seat"

"if you can, I'll find a method to let you sit on logistics seat and send that old guy to Pure Land hehe," Haruto's Father stated in a scary low voice, frightening him.

"Faath um Elder, I will do everything in my ability to become a jounin before the deadline," says the protagonist father.

Fearfully, with a glimmer of glee in his eyes, Haruto stated, ignorant to the fact that his promotion would kill someone.

"You will only be in charge of safeguarding clan treasury, if you are not promoted to jounin."

Haruto's father told this to him because he was fed up with dealing with his older elder buddy.

His friend was one of the few who was completely faithful to the clan, therefore he worked hard in recent years to create and give gifts to many elders and patriarchs in order to replace his old friend's Elder post with his son's and cover up many of his frauds.

"Now get out of here, I've had enough of your irritating face," Haruto's Father laughed, "and remember to look after my grandson before the cursed seal ceremony." "For if something that shouldn't happen happens," Haruto's Father joked, "you may bid farewell to the elder seat Kekukeke."

Who knew Ren was implicated in this without him knowing? His bleak childhood is already decided here.
