92 Chapter – 92: VS Tailed Beast

Inside a the Origin space, in a large open area, two figures are locked in combat. One of them is a human while the other is a huge monster resembling a white horse. The most distinct feature about the monster is the five enormous tails flapping behind it!

"Even though you are but an imitation, come... give me your best shot... let me witness the power of a tailed beast..." I say with a smile.

For the last month, I didn't stop the Five-Tails' chakra from growing at all; sometimes I even helped it grow! All of that was for today... to test the limits of the Hashirama clone I created! Although it's power is still nowhere close to the original, it has grown a lot and I believe it will be enough to serve as a whetstone...

[Wood Release: Great Forest Jutsu]

Without wasting any time, I start attacking it. Suddenly, my right arm starts to lengthen at high speed and forks into tens of branches. In the blink of an eye, the branches shoot towards the Five-Tails and starts to bind it. The Wood Release is known for its ability to drain the opponent of their chakra whenever it makes physical contact and hence its one of the best jutsus to use against any tailed beast.

Initially, the Five-Tails didn't pay much attention on the branches that looked so weak that it could smash them to bits with a simple swing of its tail. But when it notices its chakra being continuously drained by the plain looking branches, it grows wary and starts evading or attacking with ranged attacks!

'Mmm, even though it's just a clone, its still showing such battle awareness...' I think internally while continuing my assault.

Suddenly, high pitched screech resonates the area and a huge amounts of boiling mist starts pouring out from Five-Tails' body. The boiling mist is so hot that the now thousands of branches all starts to catch fire and in just a few seconds nothing but ash remains of them!

In addition, with the help of steam from the Boil Release, Five-Tails' speed increases dramatically and it starts to counter attack.

Even with this increase, it is nowhere close to making me use the full strength of this clone; even I am not fully aware of its limits yet. But, I want to take my time and use this as an opportunity to get used to this clone. Therefore, instead of trying to end the fight as quickly as possible, I start engaging it head on.

[Wood Release: Wood Clone Jutsu]

Five wooden puppet looking figures appear behind me and transform into clones of me. This time, I retreat and let my clones engage the Five-Tails.

'Mmm, these clones are indeed better than Shadow Clones... but they do take a lot more chakra to create and not everyone can use it... so I guess both of them have their own advantages...' I think looking at the logs from the A.I chip as it gathers data from the fight. Soon, my clones reach their limit too.

'It's time to test it...' I chuckle and start to cast seals for one of my favorite Wood Release jutsus.

[Wood Release: Wood Dragon Jutsu]

A ginormous serpentine wooden dragon appears behind me. With an earth shattering roar towards the heavens, it slithers towards the Five-Tails at breakneck speed and starts battling it head on. The extraordinary thing is, there is no clear victor even after tens of exchanges!

Looking towards the two monstrosities duking it out, even I am shocked by the power of this jutsu. I knew this jutsu was powerful, but I didn't think it would be this powerful and this is not even it's full power!

'If I use this while in Sage Mode then...' I think totally flabbergasted, 'But...'

There is one tiny little problem. Although this clone can innately gather Natural Chakra, I am not skilled enough to control it. So, when I tried it for the first time yesterday, I almost turned this clone into a tree! I shiver thinking about that experience... Anyway, it'll be a while before I will be able to display the full power of this clone...

Back to the battle. After realizing it will not be able to win the battle like this as even it's Boil Release or it's enormous strength could only hurt and not completely destroy the wooden dragon, the Five-Tails starts preparing it's final attack; the Tailed Beast Bomb!

"Oh no, you don't..." I say and retreat while the wooden dragon starts wrapping itself around the Five-Tails and constrains it. However, it's already too late as the pitch black ball of utter destruction has already formed.

Because of being so close to the Five-Tails, the wooden dragon is unable to dodge the attack and is blown to bits. Even after that, the Tailed Beast Bomb, without losing even a bit of momentum and power starts rushing towards me at full speed.

With unprecedented concentration, I bite my thumb and slam it onto the ground and yell...

[Summoning Jutsu: Quintuple Rashōmon]

*boom* X 5

Five enormous gates having frightening demonic faces upon them pop out of the ground trying to shield me from the incoming attack. The tailed beast bomb in all its glory slams into the first gate with full force and is able to destroy it easily, however, much of its power is also consumed in the process. Still, not completely spent, it crashes into the second gate. Although it is able to destroy the second gate too, not much of its energy still remains at this point which is easily blocked by the third gate!

'Ah, that was fun... thanks for an amazing battle...' I smile looking at the fading Five-Tails. After the last attack, all the chakra it had gathered during the last month is spent and the clone is about to disperse. I am not worried about it as I already have some stored elsewhere...

'Although it wasn't against a true tailed beast, this clone is ridiculously powerful... forget Sage Arts like True Several Thousand Hands, I didn't even use some of the powerful Wood Release Jutsus like Deep Forest Emergence...'

'I wait for the day when I can use Sage Arts...' I smile.
