Dragging the two brothers into the woods so hinata won't have to see this as she is too pure, I tie them up to another tree once far enough into the forest. First tenant to interrogation psychological torture.
I begin by grabbing a special scroll I filled just for this. First to come out the scroll is a table followed by a variety of tools such as pliers, large 'wire' strippers, and much more. Than I start to pull out some more esoteric torture implements, large black fist, the equivalent of a car-battery, a vice, etc, etc, you get the point.
The entire time I'm unloading the tools I'm quietly building the suspense watching their reactions to each thing I pull out trying to find what tool they fear most. Unsurprisingly their reaction to the big black fist is terror.
Pushing down the acid coming up from what I have to do I decide to start walking over to the brothers I pull out a coin. I ask them to choose between heads and tails, flip it and ask the brother who won "You or your brother?" he looks confused for a second before saying "Me.".
Shrugging I summon a new table and tie his brother to it gaging and blindfolding him before his brother asks "What are you doing? I said me, leave him alone!" finished tying up his brother I turn to him and say "I find that that there are two people one won't talk when tortured themselves simply to spite the interrogator, but torture the ones they love and they tend to cave pretty quickly, the other cares not at all what you do to those 'close' to them but start tearing out their nails and they give in pretty fast. You seem like the first one to me." walking to my tool table I decide to start simple and grab a simple knife, returning to the brother I cut off his shirt.
I start by trying to skin a thin square of surface skin off his chest and before I even finish the second edge the brother is screaming into his gag (Sensory deprivation leaves his mind nothing to interpret but the pain.) and his ungagged brother yells at me "STOP I'LL TALK, WHATEVER YOU WANT JUST LEAVE HIM BE!"
Turning to him I ask "Really? That's it? Fucks sake no wonder you went rogue, you are a terrible ninja. No you know what nevermind just tell me everything." and he does, he squeals like a pig leaving nothing out, honestly it's really everything we already know. They work for zabuza and were hired by shipping magnet gato to prevent tazuna from building a bridge that would free the town's economy from his stranglehold.
Sighing I say "This was both strangely disappointing and relieving. I don't want to torture someone but I really thought that I would get to see how I would do as a T&I specialist. Whatever, I'll get a team to come pick you and your brother up to take you to prison."
Packing up my tools I dress the brothers chest wound and drag them back to the road "They were hired by gato to kill tazuna so he can't free his town from his grip and they work for zabuza the demon of the mist."
humming to himself kakashi speaks "Alright let's head on back to the village." he turns to leave but I speak up "I don't think we should, if we can get this bridge built and take out gato the village will become a powerful trade center, that we can get to ally with us for doing this mission. I think we should send a message to jii-san for reinforcements to help you take care of zabuza and use this as a way to teach us how to undertake assassination missions by taking out gato."
Looking at me for a minute he thinks "What about you two do you agree?" he turns to hinata and sasuke with sasuke speaking up first "The extra training would be for the best." followed up by hinata "We shouldn't just leave these people to suffer, I think we should do it."
Seeing our determination he sighs summoning a dog "Very well if the hokage approves we shall continue." hearing us say this tazuna hugs my leg crying "Thank you, thank you, thank you, so much!" Kicking him off with disgust I reply "For fucks sake man you're an adult hold yourself together, and plus we don't know if we'll get the go ahead yet." he apologizes and sits down to wait.

Not long after a group shows up on the horizon, as they get closer I recognize one Anko Mitarashi, the snake mistress of konoha and a group of anbu. As they pull up next to us anko looks at kakashi "Hey there cyclops the old man said you needed help. Apparently I'm to be your backup, whilst these folks here take the prisoners back."
Nodding at her, Kakashi says "So we continue the mission then huh. Alright tazuna you've got your wish come true. Ok you three we resume our mission same formation as before anko you watch our back. I'll be up front." Nodding to the anbu he waves them away.
Setting off we resume our journey, tazuna continues to express his gratitude offering gratuitous thanks, I honestly started to get annoyed with how often he was saying "Thank you shinobi-sama" eventually I just told him to shut it before we end the mission that got him to quiet down real quick.

Eventually we reached the first meeting point of team seven and the demon of the mist. Walking into the mist hinata notifies us with hand signs that the mist is filled with chakra. As we walk I realize why naruto threw his kunai without kakashi seeming to notice what he was throwing it at, with the emotion sensing of the kubi I can feel the discreet ki (Killing intent) zabuza gave off from his hiding spot. Going thru the motions like in the anime I throw a kunai, zabuza swaps with a white rabbit that is only white in winter or in captivity and it's certainly not snowing.
Kakashi-sensei yells at us to drop grabbing tazuna as he does, hinata, sasuke, and anko drop, whilst I flip up facing zabuza as I land he jumps onto his sword embedded into the tree. Before zabuza and kakashi can have their little dialogue I toss out a bucket load of kunai in a spread that looks like I'm just trying to leave him no escape but is really forcing him to block the kunai heading directly for him whilst the rest tied together in two's, three's, and four's with steel ninja wire wrap up his cleaver tightly enough that he would need either time to unwrap all the wires or enough strength to straight up break the tree.
"Hinata, sasuke, anko-san guard the client, sensei and I got zabuza." Pulling my sword from the seal in my pants I rush zabuza, jumping down he goes to rip out his sword and cut me in half in the process, watching his eyes widen as his sword doesn't budge, I speed up. As I slash down he jumps back turning my blow into a graze across his chest, as he focuses on me I duck down on one knee as kakashi uses my back as a springboard eye's widening furthermore he goes through the motions of a kawarmi impaling a log on sensei's kunai instead of his heart.
Storing my sword I swap it for my staff spinning around I strike his chin with the butt of my staff sending him reeling, ripping back I crack his knees knocking him down, reeling back I prepare to knock him out with a strike to his head but before I can Haku pincushions him, stopping my attack inches from his head I think for a second and then push down the last couple inches smacking him giving him a nasty bruise. Storing my staff away I start walking to the tree with his sword embedded in it, summoning a pair of handheld cable cutters I start to cut out his sword talking all the while.
"I was wondering when you were going to stop hiding." Ripping the sword out I give it a few test swings. I store it in my seal, turning around to see haku in outdated hunter-nin garb standing over zabuza he looks to me. "Apologies for not stepping in earlier but I felt I would just get in the way, but anyway I would appreciate the executioner's blade, it belongs to our village." walking up to him I stop inches from him, smile and ask "What blade?" narrowing his eyes he looks at me glances at kakashi walking up to us and then to anko guardian tazuna then nods and shunshins away with zabuza.
Kakashi walks up to me putting his hand on my shoulder "You did good in that fight but why did you antagonise that hunter-nin?" anko walks up to me "I would like to know that as well, the hidden village in the mist will go to great lengths to get that blade back." giving out a little laugh I responded "That was no hunter-nin his uniform was outdated and he took zabuza instead of just burning his body on sight as is standard procedure."
"Anyway we should get going, we do have a mission after all."
