10 Shadow Clone

Uchiha compound

As me and sasuke walk into the compound I turn to him and ask "I almost forgot with all that's happening could you show me to the uchiha jutsu library?"

Sighing sasuke says "I would but the library can only be accessed by those with the sharingan unlocked."

Humming in thought I ask "The sharingan is unlocked by trauma right, you just watched your brother kill your entire bloodline over and over again for three days straight if that wouldn't unlock the sharingan nothing will. Hmmm. We are going to spar no holds barred. I want you to push chakra to your eyes the entire time okay?"

Once he nods we set off for the sparring ring once there we both get into position perform the sign of friendship shit and begin

Pushing chakra through my legs (not quite shunshin as that requires a specific moulding pattern but it does a good enough job of enhancing my speed.) so far nothing has changed in Sasuke's eyes. In fact I think I went too fast as it seems he can't even see me so I circle back to his left and this time I slow my speed so he just sees me part of the time.

… And then I kick his ass, painfully. I target points with large clusters of nerves. Ears, mouth, armpits, nipples, even his nuts.

Nothing that will leave him drastically injured but things that can feel worse than death and it doesn't work so I take the next step "You know if you can't even unlock the sharingan after all this you will never be strong enough to beat your brother, he will get away with everything kill all our friends and eventually me, and just like last time he'll let you live just to let you suffer you will be nothing but a worthless waste is that what you want are you willing to let that happen!"

"NO not a chance in hell! No one will take you from me!" he catches my next fist heading for his nose to break it. Bingo bloodshot eyes achieved. Pulling my arm back I smile "Good, then let's go study up on what we'll need to beat him."

He smiles and whispers "Thanks Naruto." I pat his head with a smile and we walk to the library

Walking into the library it is just as stacked as a clan capable of stealing jutsu's (Because the sharingan can also copy taijutsu, kenjutsu, and the like.) library should be. So the first thing to do is figure out the sorting system here looking at the sheer immensity I sigh this is going to take a while.

Hours later

So thankfully the rows are alphabetically arranged sadly the books in each shelf aren't further arranged whilst so whilst all books starting with say S are in the s row it is completely random where it's placed.

But after searching for a couple hours I realized that the shadow clone jutsu is an s-rank technique and I haven't seen but a few a-rank ones and all of them were honestly pretty shit for supposed a-ranks.

Realising the folly of my ways I call over sasuke "I need you to look in the S row with your sharingan and tell me if you spot anything strange." Nodding he does as I say and eventually he points at some of the open space between two of the shelves that, thinking back, I have avoided "There's a shelf here that wasn't here when I came over"

Smart and simple probably done using the fuinjust equivalent of a notice-me-not charm from the HP universe. "Is one of them labeled Shadow clone technique?" he nod's and reaches out his arm becoming blurry and coming back out with a book he hands over. I thank him and let him know I'll be studying this on the patio.

Heading out I sit in one of the patio chairs and start reading within a couple of sentences I realize how much of a genius the second hokage is. The reason shadow clone splits your chakra is because your chakra splits into two (or more) exact copies and then the physical portion of that half solidifies into reality much like what the bijuu do they should honestly be invisible masses of chakra but and this is my theory they have so much chakra they are forced into a physical state and them dying for a short while is just them running low on chakra where as the shadow clone is just pushing the physical portion into reality that's why memories return and physical training doesn't. The physical portion of the chakra is what powers the jutsu whilst once dispelled or having run out of energy the mental portion returns with all the new memories.

In all honestly this jutsu is nothing less than a yin-yang release jutsu, something thought to only have been used by the sage of six paths.Thinking about it I believe I could switch the mental and physical aspect so that it would be powered by the mental aspect of chakra and have the physical return allowing me to use the shadow clone jutsu to train my physicality but then it would not have the intelligence to do what it would need to do to train.

No bad naruto no altering the foundation of jutsu before mastering them. Standing up I dust myself off and head to the training grounds. My first attempt was surprisingly successful, honestly the hardest part is having enough chakra for the clone to manifest itself and as everyone knows chakra is the least of naruto's problems.

Other than that splitting the chakra perfectly into more than fourths maybe, will get exponentially harder. Honestly I wonder how naruto was constantly making thousands of clones at once, but I will surpass him. And so I continued to train.
