4 Dreary Day

As the bell rings out those still running collapse and start whining about how it's not fair (mostly civilians) saying that clan kids already have training to which mizuki rebukes "I DON'T CARE you all applied months in advance for this academy and we sent you letters with an exercise regime tailored to each of you so you would be reddy by the time school started you ignored it as is obvious from this pitiful display so would you kindly GET OUT!!"
Yeaaah one thing I learned in this world is that things are much more serious. The plot is still the same from what i've seen but it's more like a world of killers would be. Now don't get me wrong it's still not as serious and pessimistic as you would expect but it's more serious than the anime but I can't compare to the manga because I never read it.
Anyway the kids start grumbling and leave the school grounds or at least the ones who can still walk do. As they walk away Iruka sighs and turns to us "well kids you've all done well so for now take a break and go get lunch class starts back up again in 30."
Whilst the rest of the kids dismiss sasuke walks up to me "So whilst the bet had no meaning considering we tied do you still want to get lunch?" I smile "Mhm sounds good"....

Months later
Today is giving off quite the dreary aura. It was all misty on my way to school and I got a feeling I know why. As I walk into class I take a seat with my group of friends I've made it consist of Sasuke(obviously), Shikamaru(so I can talk with someone smarter than an elementary scholar), Choji(by association but he's a good guy nonetheless.), Shino(for a friend I can just sit around with), and Hinata(cause she is way too cute and easy to tease).
"Hey guys, dreary day isn't it?"I ask sitting down. Sasuke responds "Yeah i've had a bad feeling all day and i don't know why." intuitive kid.
Shino speaks up "My kikaichu are strangely agitated today" shikamaru speaks up "choji's dad and mine were meeting this morning and they were acting quite weird" hinata continues (I will not be writing her stuttering as that looks stupid when read and she also stuters less than in the show this has the side effect of making here dad less of an asshole) "My dad was muttering at breakfast this morning about the council and trouble"
As hinata's talking iruka and mizuki walk in "Alright class today we were going to read some of the textbook but the weather is perfect for practicing throwing weapons in low visibility conditions, to the range everyone chop chop."
At the range me and sasuke have our typical bet on whos better with sasuke winning this one as he usually does for kunai throwing after a couple months its been established pretty well what both of us are good at with sasuke being better at throwing weapons, more precise jutsu, and genjutsu where as is win out in taijutsu, larger scale jutsu, and the physical activities like tree running.
Once at the cafeteria sasuke ordered pasta (While everyone only spoke japanese this world did have international cuisine like pasta and burgers etc.) which I had to pay for with extra sauce I got a full on meal pork chops and potatoes, broccoli, peas everything a growing boy needs to fuel a growing musculature and skeletal structure. "You know sasuke, you keep eating empty carbs like that and you're going to stay a skinny little twig." I ask, he scoffs "Even if i were to eat like you I still wouldn't grow like you." I raise my brow at him. "Whatever lets just get back to class"

The next day
As I walk in class I notice sasuke's not here proving my thoughts from the other day, but so as not to raise suspicion I still sit next to the others and ask "So any of you all know where sasuke's at, was he sick or something?" As I say this the others look at each other likely trying to decide who should speak first after a while shikamaru sighs "Sasukes in the hospital, his uh his brother slaughtered his entire family apparently and the trauma knocked him unconscious." Now whilst I already know all this you got to keep up appearances.
So I keep my head down and stand up telling the group to tell sensei I'm heading to check in on sasuke and I do just that.
Getting to the hospital I walk up to the receptionist who proceeds to glare at me "Ugh yes can I help you?" Giving a quick glare myself (Be nice to others until they fuck with you) "I'm here to see sasuke he was administered sometime yesterday."
Sneering at me she replies "Sorry but we have no one here under that name." Oh this bitch is trying me now aint she, she didn't even check the computer records. As I'm preparing to tear her ass a new one behind me a familiar voice speaks out "Now, now I'm sure if you double check you would see the name." turning I see the hokage, the professor, the god of shinobi himself or as I call him ji-san turning back to the bitch I smirk at her but grinding her teeth she starts looking it up "Certainly Hokage-sama… ah yes one sasuke uchiha admitted into the mental ward room 714 sir" giving the receptionist a smile "Many thanks, no let's go see your friend naruto."
As we walk away ji-san turns to me and asks "You know the more you retaliate against them the more they'll hate you right?" looking at him like the senile old man he is "True as that is its also true that if I just let them push me around they'll start getting the idea in there head that they can do whatever they want to me and no one wants that, afterall if they go to far i'd have to kill them."
Sighing he says "you know I can never tell if you're telling a joke or not when you say that" smiling at him "That's the point if even you can't tell then the villagers certainly can't." "Fair but can't you just tell me whether or not you're joking?" sending him one last grin I turn to open the door to sasuke's room."
