4 Chapter 3

"I have finally decided system!!" Shouted Retsu, he was quite excited to have finally come to a decision. In the end there was just too few informations so he had to make a gamble.

[ Very well host, which pack did you choose ? You should also know that once you choose a pack, it will appear in your inventory and you'll be able to open at any moment. So need to rush things ]

"Oh, okay. I have decided to take the Evil Genius pack. Honestly i am quite surprised by the fact that for now, i am still me. It seems that even if i took over Orochimaru's body, my mind refuse to merge with his." Said Retsu, it was a thing that he noticed after a night full of nightmares, caused by Orochimaru's memories. It was actually obvious that he still wasn't Orochimaru, after all he didn't feel as evil as Orochimaru should be.

[ It is normal Host. Your mind will battle with Orochimaru's over dominance for a while, before they merge. There are some items that could speed the process, but it can be dangerous. Forcing those minds and personnalities to merge could...Result in mental problems. I think you know what i mean. ]

"Ah yes, indeed. It would be quite bad if i became psychotic or something like that."

[ Since you chose your pack, it appeared in your inventory, you can check it at any time. But i would recommend that you finish what you were doing. ]

Retsu smiled and continued to walk towards the entrance of the cave. The system had nearly made him forget about what he was doing before.

He finally reached the entrance and his eyes widened. He thought he would be in a forest or something, but it seemed that Orochimaru was quite an inspired guy. The cave was actually located on a cliff, a really big cliff.

Retsu tried to see past the fog that blocked his view, but couldn't. He didn't even knew if there was a forest or something like that under him. He just knew that the cliff was gigantic because he had looked up and down, it made him quite dizzy.

"Well atleast, it's a pretty secret place. I hope there aren't too many people that know of this place." As he said this, Retsu remembered something.

'Normally at that time, Anko should have the cursed seal mark. Which means that it's already too late to get her...Or is it ? Damn, i don't remember if she's still with Orochimaru!! Orochimaru abandoned Konoha before or during the Kyuubi attack, as such Konoha should already be extremely suspicious of him. Getting people from Konoha to trust should be difficult, then again given how Konoha's elders and the Hokage keep things hidden from the others, i should be able to turn that into my advantage. I know most of Danzo's schemes and Hiruzen shouldn't be a problem. The scene when Naruto knocked him out with the Sexy Jutsu was a comical one, but given that this world is real, if this scene really happened, then it means that Hiruzen has really become weak. Orochimaru only lost the use of his arms because he was too arrogant to even consider his old master a threat...I won't make the same error'

[ Host, i think you should remember that even if you know more things than Orochimaru, since you pretty much know the future, you can't act recklessly. Even some tiny little changes can impact the whole future, which would mean that the things you know about the future could prove to be useless. You can also add to that the fact that you're not Orochimaru........This body is used to Orochimaru's abilities, you have his memories and experiences, but your mind refuse those things. As long as your mind is clashing with Orochimaru's, you won't be able to fight like him. If you encounter a squad of Jounin, you could be defeated because your mind refuse to use Orochimaru's abilities. ]

".........*Sigh* It's just way too complicated for me.......If i encounter any danger, i will just open the Evil Genius pack and......" Retsu stopped when his senses picked on some distant noises..........The sound of rustling leaves. He could also clearly sense several signatures heading towards him.

'Wait........How's that even possible ? Orochimaru wouldn't have gave them his laboratory's location, and they couldn't have found me so easily. But, what if............*Snort* They're really dumb aren't they ?"

[Indeed they are Host........But will you be able to beat them ? Or will you just ignore them and go back to your base ? After all there should be some traps to keep ennemies away. ]

The ninja were quickly moving from trees to trees, making sure to be as silent as they could be. The sensor of the group picked on a signature and motioned for the others to stop.

"It seems that the cave we saw a few days ago really is his base, he's currently standing at the entrance. I don't know what's he doing." Said the Sensor. The leader of the group, a big man with a face covered in scars and dangerous blue eyes, snorted.

"He's waiting for us. It's Orochimaru we're talking about. We should wait for the others to come. We're not strong enough to-" The leader was interrupted by a startled yelp from the sensor. Said man started to sweat bullets as he looked towards the Leader, his whole body trembling.

"H-He's.......H-HE'S-"

"He's what ?! Talk dumbass !!!"

"HE'S HEADING TOWARDS US AT FULL SPEED !!!!!!"

They all suddenly turned around, they reflexes being good enough to catch on the figure that appeared behind them and was currently pressing a kunai against one of their comrade's throat.

"Why, hello there. Might i ask what you're all doing here ?" Asked Orochimaru, a grin plastered on his face. But he couldn't trick them. They all saw his trademark snake-like grin many times. It wasn't the same, this was the grin of a man who was trying to act cool and calm even though he was panicking.

'Did we come at a bad time for him ? Maybe he's exhausted from training or something like that......RAGHHH!! No time to think, it's a good thing for us, he's not in good form, we have a chance!!' He made a discreet motion for his three comrades to move slowly towards Orochimaru, while he himself looked at Orochimaru.

"I think we both know why we're here, Snake Sannin. You know, you got many ennemies. You may be a legendary Shinobi, but even a legend can fall at the hands of normal men. And even if it's not us, some others will come. Honestly i don't know why you even accepted a mission like that, it was obviously a trap!"

Orochimaru didn't actually tense or anything, his grin widened.

"I know........The problem is that even if you're quite smart, you don't seem to understand who fell in the trap. Kukuku~" The Leader's face paled, he frowned and tried to understand what Orochimaru could possibly be seeing.

Something totally unexpected happened after that. Orochimaru pulled some sort of bottle from his robe. There was something written on the bottle, but the Leader couldn't read it. Orochimaru gulped for some reasons before he pulled a mask from his robe, put it on his face and threw the bottle on the ground. The leader was about to rush towards the bottle, his fellow ninja rushing at Orochimaru. But something stopped them.

"I can't believe i actually used something like that"

And with that Orochimaru crushed the bottle, a gas escaped from it. They all breathed the gas, and for some certainly sick reasons, they all began to uncontrollably laugh, a wide smile appearing on their faces as they dropped to the ground.

"Why so serious~? If you need to go, at least........Go with a smile!"
