An Ocean Of Infinity

A Year had passed by before I knew it and honestly, Using the Shadow Clone Jutsu wasn't hard but what I found hard to believe was the amount of Magical power it consumed.

Of course copying the handsigns would not work since this was not the world of Naruto but rather instead of creating a chant, I learned to pour my MP into all parts of my body simultaneously and then copy the data of my body... I had to group everything into raw data since I wouldn't confuse myself like that and then after that, replicate the data I copied into valuable information! Which resulted in a clone!

Just creating a single clone of myself burned through a lot of MP, something I didn't possess so at most I can create two clones which have the same power that I do... I think it has something to do with the fact that I copied every single part of my Physical and Spiritual part of my body by using MP...

Sitting in the library, I held a large book... The Limitless manual, I did as I said to myself and mastered the Shadow Clone Jutsu so all that was left was simply learning Limitless. Of course I was learning Limitless since I didn't want to be hit, stabbed or touched my any magic whatsoever.

As I opened the manual, The machine voice echoed and boomed through my head signifying a certain amount of wisdom was about to be imparted.

[Use the Six Eyes [Cursed Variant] to read the Limitless Manual]

was the wise voice I was hearing and as soon as I stared into the manual, I found myself lost amidst the seemingly jagged text that seemed to portray no absolute meaning at all!

I sighed and focused the second kind of magic into my eyes, feeling the Cursed magic circulate through my eye muscles and then to my pupils... I closed my eyes and then opened them again, my eyes changing into a light blue hue.

And then the words seemingly came to life, turning to a Universal language that was understood by the world... English!!!

I stood outside, hoping to practice the knowledge that I had gained from the manual to the fullest. Of course I didn't expect the Limitless to work at once but I at least wanted to know I was getting somewhere in my manipulation of magic.

Barrier magic was similar to Limitless, except it required a continual pour of MP into the barrier and if you had low magic reserves, Well your barrier breaks when faced with a spell that's higher than the amount of MP in your reserves.

The sun's heated glow bathed my figure as I spied around the backyard, finding nothing... I took in a deep breath and circulated my MP into my eyes, I closed my eyes and reopened them, my blue orbs began glowing. A sign of the change and then I focused on utilizing Infinity magic.

Infinity exists all around us, What this technique does is draw the Infinity around you and create a kind of barrier that makes everything that comes in contact with it slower and slower until it fails to ever reach you.

"First things first, Feel the Infinity," I mumbled and my eyes surged, filling with more MP as I focused on solely feeling Infinity magic.

And after a few minutes... I could feel a certain energy, colorless and flowing like the ocean unhindered by anything.

'So this is Infinity,' I thought as I reached out and touched the ocean-like magic, I was aware that I could do this only because I had Infinity Magic manipulation and partly because of the Six Eyes but it was cool though.

I widened my eyes as I tried to gather Infinity around me, resulting in a bright explosion of the Infinity energy right in my face. The attack was silent yet powerful as a crater was formed below me, My entire body propelling through the air and crashing against the small shed sending a splutter of blood out my mouth.

I breathed in short bursts of air and sighed, I had made an earlier mention of Infinity being free like the ocean and the Ocean sure didn't like being restricted. Gathering Infinity will take a lot of getting used to but I guess this is what happens when someone else tries to learn Limitless without being an actual member of the Gojo Clan.

"That attack though... I didn't even know what happened," I muttered and fell onto my knees, taking in short wisps of air while deactivating my Six Eyes, "Am I exhausted from utilizing too much MP or what?"

No matter what I tried to do, I couldn't stand... I was extremely exhausted! But seriously, I had spent a year increasing my reserves only to find out that gathering Infinity still took so much from my own MP.

Hoki entered the Backyard suddenly, her eyes locking onto my figure and she rushed forward, dropping the apple she had brought. As the apple made contact with the ground, instead of rolling, it smashed and turned into nothing but cream.

Hoki's eyes showed her shock when she couldn't get to me, She extended her hands through an unseeable barrier and yet it wouldn't budge, I was still at the shed gasping for breath.

"Umm, Light. Did you set up a barrier?" Hoki asked.

I barely looked at her.

"Barrier?" I asked.

"Yes, Barrier... I can't get through," Hoki said, "Barrier magic is advanced stuff though,"

My eyes widened as I activated my Six eyes again and saw it... Infinity blocking all routes to me.

'But I didn't command it to do so,' I thought but it seemed the ocean of Infinity had a mind of it's own, keeping me inside, 'Satoru didn't say anything about Infinity being annoying like this,'

I made a forceful attempt using my limited mastery of the Magic to attempt to disperse the barrier around me and it failed. It refused to listen to my commands, tightening further and pushing Hoki back even more.

My eyes shone brightly, exhibiting my rage as I let out a shout that shook the Backyard itself.

"ENOUGH!" I let out, The Infinity around me ruptured and cracked open like glass, letting Hoki through but my eyes flickered, I had burned too much MP doing that... My eyes slowly closed as I fell to the ground face-first.

"LIGHT!"

Author's Note:

Just tried a bit of experimentation with Infinity, Infinity magic in the Mushoku Tensei realm has a free will of it's own, like the ocean. It hates to be restricted, like the ocean. Besides, It'll make it more interesting to see how Light will conquer such a rebelling force of nature.

Yo fans of this fic, I just got rejected by my crush... She said we're friends and nothing more and it hurt!
