Side Story: Xiao Ke (1)

The first month of his arrival in this world, Li Ming was asked by Shui Wang to help him managed some business in the other city. That is why Li Ming right now is in Clear Sky City. The Clear Sky City is a very prosperous city. It was the home of several other big businesses and was a famous city where tourist go.

Li Ming was here to help managed a hotel owned by the Shui family. From the message they received, it seems like there is someone putting pressure on the hotel which already affected its business.

"Welcome sir, you must be Li Ming the one that CEO Shui sends. Please follow me to where the meeting is" a rather young man greeted him at the door just as he enters. Li Ming nodded his head and followed behind the man.

"Sir, this is where they are" as Li Ming enters the room, everyone inside turned and look at him. They all cast curious glance at him while Li Ming found a chair to sit.

The man who escorted him went to a middle-aged man and whispers something to his ears. A surprised expression appeared on his face as he stare at Li Ming. "Ladies and gentlemen, this newcomer is Li Ming. The president sends him here to help us solve this problem we are facing right now"

"My name is Bai Jie, the president entrusted me to be the hotel manager of this place. It was nice meeting you and also thank you for coming here" the middle-aged man introduces himself in a well like manner as he stretch his hands for a handshake. Li Ming took the hand and also introduces himself.

After the others also introduces themselves, the meeting continues. Li Ming just sat there listening to them talking about the problem the hotel were currently facing. As Li Ming listens, although he isn't a businessman and had very small knowledge about what they were talking about. He still get the general idea on why this is happening. From what he understands, it seems that there is someone going against the hotel in purpose.

"Manager Bai, can I talk to you for a moment" after the meeting ended, Li Ming said to Bai Jie.

"Of course, lets talk in my office" Bai Jie replied. As Li Ming was sent personally by the president to help. He knew that Li Ming have the capability to help them. Although he looks young, one must still never judge someone just because of their age.

When they arrived at the office, Manager Bai served some tea and said, "Li Ming drink first and tell me what is it"

Li Ming take a sip of the tea and said, "Manager Bai who is it that was deliberately doing this in purpose. From the meeting earlier, it seems you knew who was behind this all"

Manager Bai took a deep breath and said, "It was the Han family. The Han family is the current leader of the city as the city mayor was a member of their family. The Han family also own a hotel, but because of us their popularity is low and there are only few people who come in there to stay. That is when they decided to take action by dealing with us. The people of the Han family were constantly send someone to harass our guests and employees. Although we are dealing with them, their constant harassment already affected the business and the reputation of the hotel is going down. Because of that most of our guests who already booked their room decided to cancel it and switch to a different hotel, which were owned by the Han family"

As Li Ming listened to Manager Bai, he found the problem a little ordinary. "Did you already contacted the police in the city about this problem?"

"Yes, I already reported it to them numerous times but they won't do anything about it. As the current city mayor is from the Han family, of course they won't take action. They even said to deal with this on our own. That is why we contacted the president on what to do" Manager Bai said, he has confidence towards Li Ming. He knew that the president won't send him over if he won't be able to do anything.

"So Manager Bai, what do you think we should do about this?" Li Ming asked.

"Like what they did to us, we should also bite back at them. Because of what they've done, we lost a huge amount in this. We definitely can't just let them run properly. We will do to them what they do to us, but a little more extreme" Manager Bai said as he clenched his fists. Just thinking about the dropping reputation of the hotel that he managed already made him extremely angry.

Li Ming didn't say anything but agreed to what Manager Bai just said. He was also thinking of doing what the Han family does, and for him, doing it will be easier.

In the next morning, a certain news were circulating around the Clear Sky City. The employees of the Han family hotel that were going in to their work all met with accidents. They all had the bones in their leg broken. When they were asked on what happened, they all said that they don't know.

After the incident of the employees breaking their leg, another news about the Han family hotel spread in the city. A fire suddenly broke out in the hotel which scared everyone who were staying in there. The three top floors of the hotel were consumed by fire and they will be out in business for several months.

As Manager Bai listens to the report about the tragedy happening to the Han family hotel, he couldn't help but feel delighted. In just a span of two days, they already made the Han family hotel stopped its business.

Right now, what Manager Bai needed to do was to promote the hotel to gain its previous reputation. Luckily for him, Xiao Ke the famous young actress were in the city right now for some fans meet up. Manager Bai talked to Xiao Ke's manager about the possibility of the two group working together. Lucky for him, Xioa Ke's manager and Xiao Ke herself agreed to do the work to promote the hotel. Manager Bai also prepared them the VIP room in the top floor of the hotel. Which were just besides Li Ming's room.
