68 Chapter 68

Orochimaru inhaled deeply, enduring the burning sensation that ran through his body. His heart thundered in his ears.

Although he was a cold-blooded person, for the first time in his life, he was afraid. Offending a godlike specimen who had eaten a few chakra fruits and making your plan a target was nothing to laugh at. These guys were on the level of immortals from other dimensions, creatures capable of destroying a whole planet with a single strike and breaking reality itself.

He'd already experienced the might of mortal cultivation in the void realm – a power beyond Madara's and Hashirama's – and he didn't want to see what a creature from their realm could do, especially since they had access to immortal cultivation. He could recover his levels quickly with better resources ever since possessing Madara's body, but it wasn't enough.

'Magic… Cultivation, science, and Madara's Uchiha body with phasing.' He thought, closing his eyes and smirking. 'But none compare to what I obtained now.'

"That bastard sure knows how to get the good stuff."

Orochimaru looked at his hand and clenched it, already feeling the quirk being installed.

In front of him stood a monkey. He placed his hand on the animal, which was being restricted by his energy. With that simple touch, he could feel the components of the monkey. A second later, the monkey turned into a bloody stream. Kenshiro seemed to have known the potential applicants and didn't treat this quirk as a combatant one. Too bad. Or else he could have gotten it for cheap.

"I wouldn't have sold this quirk to myself as well." He sighed heavily. It seemed that his business partner had taken pity on him and given it to him for cheap. Well, Orochimaru had technically begged.

Orochimaru touched the bloody stream, and the monkey returned to its previous shape, alive and full of awareness. He got the hang of the new quirk, more familiar. Thanks to his experience and knowledge, Orochimaru didn't find it hard to learn this quirk in no time.

He touched the monkey again, feeling the chromosomes, changing their order. He changed the cells on a molecular level without changing the body.

The monkey suddenly got bulky, had long black spiky hair, and its eye color changed to purple with black rings in them, turning into what seemed to be the Rinnegan. A monkey with 46 chromosomes like a human, and it seemed to gain self-awareness.

The Rinnegan, once the rarest Kekki Genkai in his world, became something he could create with his hand. His heart beat at ease now. No. It beat louder with excitement.

"Hahahaha! So what! I can become better than one of those self-proclaimed gods and get your abilities without having to eat the chakra fruits."

He laughed heartily. He didn't feel that he lost anything by making that contract with Kenshiro, even after stating that he couldn't sell this quirk or any variation of it.

Only scientists and DNA experts could bring its full potential. However, this quirk offered anyone the power to one-shot their opponent as long as they were made of material. With this power, he could invade the market and sell bloodlines by making monkeys have them. Those things weren't cheap and were in high demand like Haki knowledge and Devil Fruits.

Orochimaru walked to his lab.

There was the corpse of an ascended Ootsuka, who had given up his material body and ascended to another realm.

He had been planning to study the body's organs and plant some of its abilities into himself, which was very dangerous.

However, with the current quirk, he could simply turn himself into that Otsutsuki, who had ascended by eating many chakra fruits.

Orochimaru never wanted to become powerful or something. All he wanted was to find meaning in life and achieve immortality. Now, he could create a meaningful world, full of people who had meaning in their lives. The only obstacle was the coming enemy.

'And I still have to make ten things for that brat.' Orochimaru sighed with a smile, crossing his fingers and creating a shadow clone, who then extended his hand to the snake man, modifying to have not only the Otsutsuki's DNA and abilities to himself but also the quirks and the metahumans' DNA he'd been accumulating from other worlds through watching the market 24/7. Not all of them could produce goods for the market, but they definitely had massive power implications.

After the clone was done, he tried to mimic a move he'd learned from that shockwave girl, aiming his hand at the sky.

It was gloomy, dark, and raining.

'The quirks get enhanced with the body being enhanced, let's see.'

As he aimed at the sky, a very large wave left his hand, making the dark sky replaced by a clear one.

The incident at the USJ (the location where we did the rescue training) calmed down a bit.

The villains had been arrested. Tomura Shigaraki, however, had escaped.

Now, even though I didn't like killing, I wouldn't have hesitated to do that.

But you know, when there were witnesses, you couldn't do as you pleased.

And I had the Hero Commission on my back, which didn't allow me to make a slip like that and allow them to get the superman shot.

The hero license test was tomorrow, in another city. But before going there, I had decided to pay a visit to class 1A and check on their health, stealing their hair samples.

The one I desired most was Momo. With the quirk cloning knowledge I had, she'd be my gold source for the future. Artifact cloning factory, and so on.

I walked into UA, hands in my pocket. Although I was allowed to skip class, I didn't.

For now, I went near to 1-A class. I had arrived at the time of their homeroom class. While walking in the hall of the school, I noticed how many stares were at me. With my enhanced hearing, I could hear what they were whispering about.

"Hey, isn't that Kenshiro."

"I've heard that he interfered in the USJ, saved a teacher, and managed to beat someone who the whole class of 1A couldn't."

"Wow, the hero course first year must be really weak."

"Lol. I know, right."

"Look at him. He's muscular, and he looks quite cute."

With the last whisper echoing in my ear, I turned my head and hid my happy shy smile.

'Stop it. Don't shower me with praise. I don't like it.'

Ignoring that, I knocked on the door of 1-A class before opening it. I found that Aizawa was looking at me with a blank expression.

"Kenshiro. I believe that we can talk later about the arrangement," he said, seeming to think about moving with Eri into my villa. I had plenty of space, so it wasn't a problem.

"I'm not here for that, Sensei," I said as I entered. "I came here to check on these guys."

After that, I turned and looked at the 1A guys. When my eyes met Momo's, I smiled, 'I'm here for you, girl.' I looked at her table. There was a hair strand, settling there. I should think about how to carefully approach her without sounding creepy.

And I looked at everyone else. "Good thing no one has been hurt. I see."

"The one we should worry about is you," said a tall muscular boy who rushed toward me before bowing his head down and adding, "You've faced that monster alone and saved Eri."

"Don't worry. My energy has a healing application. That's why I came here. Does anyone feel hurt?" I said, putting my hand on the shoulder of the man, looking for any hair. "What's your name?"

"My name is Ida Tenya."

"I see. By the way, do you come from a hero family?"

He smiled. "I see. You know me then."

"Don't worry about it," I said. "Did you get hurt anywhere?"

"Well, I have injured my shoulder, but we have the healing girl. I'll be fine once the classes are done," he said, feigning a smile.

"No need to wait for the classes to be done." With that being said, a light surrounded my hand. I cast a 3rd circle healing spell, a light surrounding him.

He stood up to his full height. Placing his hand on his shoulder, he tittle back and forth.

"The pain vanished," he exclaimed, seeming to be amazed as he lifted his eyebrows. "Not only are you strong, but you can do this as well!!! I must say, your quirk is the most amazing so far."

Upon his remark, I could feel someone staring at me with hate. Jealousy maybe. I turned my head. The guy must be Bakugo, who had a nice-looking mom… my inner Mineta, calm down.

"It doesn't accelerate your healing. It heals you completely," I explained. It wasn't some cheap medicine. It was magic.

"I see. That's why you came here," Aizawa mused. "Well, I won't stop you from doing what you want." He pointed to his eyes, "they've been scratchy ever since that fight, and the doctor said I need some rest. Can you do something about it?"

Sighing, I directed my hand toward him. He was within my range, so I healed him from a distance.

Most of the eyes looked at me with admiration.

"Hey! Are you looking down on us!" Someone stood up and walked toward me. He was none other than Bakugo. He snarled, "Just because you held your own against the Nomu doesn't mean you aim to something. You only defeated him using cheap tricks! So, stop acting as if you are something or I'll kill you."

"Bakugo! Stop being rude," commanded Aizawa.

"But Sensei!" Bakugo said, seeming not to like that there were people around him with superior quirks.

I should have told him not to worry as my power wasn't the result of my strength.

Mineta, who was behind Bakugo, was about to pull a ball and throw it at him.

I raised my hand, stopping him.

Let him provoke the situation Mineta. I needed to get closer to the people who had a worthy quirk and steal them.

Of course, the worthiest one would be Aizawa behind me.

Patting Bakugo on the shoulder, I said. "I'm just concerned about your health, that's all. I believe that once you train hard enough, you'll be as strong as I am."

He's lucky that I'm here on a mission. Otherwise, I would have beaten him beyond recognition.

I wasn't really praising him. I was just hoping that something like a mock battle arise.

"As if you were. We were doing fine without you," he replied.

"It's okay, tsundere chan. I know how hard it is to express feelings," I mocked.

A few veins appeared on the bomb man's face. "You called me what?"

Aizawa sighed, stood up, and walked to Bakugo, glaring at him. "In that case, why don't you guys start your homeroom class with a simple spar. That if you don't mind, Kenshiro-san."

Aizawa sensei, have I ever mentioned how much I loved you – no homo.

He seemed to realize that his class, some of them, got a bit arrogant and needed some discipline. Aizawa was one of the few who had seen my performance in the final exams, and he'd gotten a good view of my strength.

"I don't mind. But it feels a bit unfair for the fireworks guy here," I said, "I'll take on the whole class."

With that, I could kick their asses and steal their quirks.

"Fine with me," said someone else, seeming excited.

"But," Momo interrupted.

But someone else interrupted her. "I'm curious as well." It was a guy with white-red hair with a scar on his eye. "Kenshiro, no one denies his effort and role in saving us and flipping the situation. It would be a good chance to measure our progress."
