60 Chapter 60

The young black-haired girl just addressed me as the owner of Snake Bio-Tech. Her eyes were sharp, I'll give her that.

"No," she denied, "We don't know each other."

Or it could be that she recognized me because Mineta went to her and said something like, 'You know, my family owns Snake Bio Tech. Wanna go on dates sometime.'

I glared at Mineta. I had forbidden him from using my name or my property for picking up girls, and he knew that.

When he saw me, he shook his head.

I turned to the black-haired girl. "You must be the young mistress of Yaoyoruzu. May I know if we met before or how did you recognize me?"

Smiling nervously a bit, she said, "You left quite an unforgettable impression on my father when you refused to make a contract or send us samples of your latest tech."

Rin had told me about that.

I was the one to personally deny any deal with her family.

You know, you don't want to give your family's secret recipes to people who have creation quirks.

"I see," I nodded. Though, it would be nice to steal her quirk or clone it. Rin may have a good use for a little sister.

"May I know why?" she asked.

"Because you can create something from fats? No," I said. "You people have the power to destroy the economy if you liked. Why would I deal with them?"

"But you could initiate a contract to assure that."

"Yeah. Just once it becomes a trend," I replied smiling. "Anyway. I'm not the one who makes the deals, so you can talk to my CEO."

She waved her hands in front of her. "No. No. I'm not here for a deal or something. I'm just a bit curious about the business side. But since I'm a future hero, my family doesn't teach me about that, and all I do is study for my quirk."

"So, you don't want to be a hero?" I asked.

Could she be the spy?

"No. I would love to," she waved her hand and smiled.

Given her heart rate, albeit unstable, she didn't seem to be lying or something.

"Good for you, I guess," I said, scanning her shoulder for any hair strands. Unfortunately, there weren't any. Well, that task could be left for Mineta to do.

When I turned to Mineta, I saw him staring at me with stars. It was as if he was waiting for me to introduce him.

"It was nice seeing you. See you all later." I then picked up my plate.

Nejire followed after me. She asked, "who was she?"

"A daughter of some rich man," I said, "Her ability is to create anything out of her fats."

"Woah. What an amazing quirk. I have some questions." Nejire's eyes lit. She turned and was about to go back to them.

I held her by the collar and grabbed her along.

"No. I need you."

"Come on, Kenshiro. It's only a couple of questions."

"So, you don't love me anymore," I said, using the line girls usually use.

She bit her bottom lip, turned to me, raised her eyebrow and asked, "You're saying that really?"

She could tell that I was joking.

"What do you think?" I asked with a small laugh. "It's not like it's bad to ask questions. I'm curious myself, you see. If it were up to me, I'd hire her to create things. But I would come across as rude if I say. However, when you meet someone for the first time, asking personal questions could be considered a breach of boundaries. You have to talk at least a couple more times to her before you ask her questions. If you get along more, you can even ask personal ones."

"Oh. I see. That's why Nosha was angry when I said if her quirk can't help her if she fell," said Nejire, putting her finger under her lip. "But you didn't seem to be angry with me."

"Personally, I like you the way you are," I replied.

"Hehe." She giggled.

Knowing that I won't be able to get the spy right away, I activated my Sharingan and scanned the cafeteria. I wanted to savor the memory visually, so that I could use it in the investigation later.

I went to another table and sat down where my class was.

My heart was beating uncomfortably, remembering what Rin had told me about the attack of the villains.

Relax Kenshiro. You have the most fearsome power, which is money. Just buy some Cultivation sealed attacks scrolls or Archmages spells and use them as a last resort.

"You, Nejire, Kenshiro san. Especially the latter, it's been a long time," said Mirio as he was sitting in front of me.

"Hey, Mirio," Nejire said.

From my dark thoughts, his voice awakened me.

"You were in the camp, right?" I muttered, seeing how they seemed familiar. Right, they were destined to become friends.

"Yes," answered Nejire. "I forgot to tell you about the embarrassing moment Mirio had when he—"

"That's enough for today," laughed Mirio nervously. "I wanted to see my buddy here." He then said, "I've trained hard. I bet I can beat you at any time."

I didn't take that joke seriously. Even if he managed to learn how to control his phasing quirk to the extent that he could attack me while I couldn't do the same, his attacks would be like a pet on the shoulder. At my current level, even without aura, I had tough skin that bullets and normal swords wouldn't be able to pierce.

But Nejire laughed. She said, "You have no idea. Kenshiro became super strong after your internship."

"Really?" Mirio asked.

"He could push All Might and let Tamaki win."

"I bet All Might let him do that. After all, teachers wouldn't go to extreme extents."

"Now you mention it, I remember them getting easy on us," remarked Nejire.

That remark gave me an itchy, hurtful feeling in my heart.

"Good Grief." I lowered my head and released a long sigh. "Lemme guess, you guys become friends."

"Weren't we all the time?" Mirio asked.

I waved my hand in front of my face, dismissing thinking about this for now.

An alarm bell rang.

Mirio, Nejire, and everyone around the table stood up.

The alarm bell in UA indicated that the barrier had been breached, and that someone who was unauthorized to enter was in the school lands.

More students stood up, rushing to the door.

'The villains started with their plan. It's near.'

With half-closed eyes, I looked left and right, activating my Sharingan, recording this scene in my memory.
