59 Chapter 59

I was standing in the middle of the yard, wearing my gym clothes, which failed to hide my muscles.

Midnight had her counter in hand while staring at me.

Apparently, she was curious about the special training I did.

She promised that if there was no improvement, then I'd get punished.

I won't lie. I was tempted to fail on purpose. But I'm loyal to Nejire, and let's be real, BDSM wasn't just a simple teasing role play and could be unfunny sometimes.

"Okay, you can throw it." Midnight said.

Clenching my hand on the baseball, merging my energies to it, I threw it into the sky.

The baseball flew like a nuke. The red aura, plus the speed and power, gave it that impression to anyone.

BOOM

After crossing god knows how many meters, a sound of explosion could be heard.

"Broke the sound barrier," exclaimed Midnight, looking at the counter, eyes widely open. "40,000 meters."

"I protected it with aura so air doesn't stop it," I said.

Everyone's eyes turned to me, seeming to be shocked.

I would have been the world record holder, if not for some people getting infinity as their score here.

Anyway, it wasn't a competition. It was just to see how much I progressed.

"You weren't lying. What have you been doing on your own?" asked Midnight.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Try me."

"Taking showers under thunderstorms," I said, shivering when the memory of me breaking into the heaven realm flashed in front of me.

"…"

"I told you that you wouldn't believe it."

She shook her head and asked me next to try the grip strength machine. Last time, I scored above a ton. Now, I was curious. I pressed hard. The counter started showing numbers: 10…20…50…100…2000. Then, it suddenly broke.

My power hadn't just increased slightly before the summer. After breaking through as a warrior, my power doubled. And after breaking through as a cultivator, to the level where I could fly, I could say the same.

All Might wouldn't take me half seriously now. He would have to go all out. But still, I wasn't certain. That man, in his prime, lifted a giant cube over 26 billion tons, not taking into account that he was in a weakened state.

'It's not about lifting power. It's about who hits harder,' I thought.

"Okay. Next speed," said Midnight.

"Umm…"

Last year, I got 4 seconds in a 100-meter race.

Now, I finished it under a second, teleporting. The teacher couldn't hold the right millisecond because she clicked slow.

'This reminds me. I need to buy heaven-level techniques.'

"Alright. You got your turn. The others have theirs."

"You're not going to let me test my attack."

"And cause the school damage. No, thank you." She shook her head, "stand on the side."

As she said that, I went to the side as I was told, sitting and observing my classmates' improvement.

At the same time, I opened the system and got a couple of techniques for myself.

[+ Beast Technique Ability: Eagle Scream. Scream and release a huge wave of sound.]

[The dragon soaring heaven: Turn your Qi into a dragon that attacks.]

[Body inner destruction points: a martial art that depends on poking.]

[+100 years' worth of collected energy.]

I could buy more techniques, but I didn't want to. What's the point if you're a jack of all trades but master of none?

Also, if I had a huge variety of techniques at the same level, I would end up being confused about which one to pick.

It'd be like watching Netflix, seeing that many movies, but spending more time picking one than watching an actual movie.

Suddenly, a hand pulled me from the shoulder. Midnight whispered.

"Tell me, are you All Might's son?"

"Pfftt.. Cough Cough." I started coughing violently as soon as my brain processed the sound. "What the hell?"

"I won't tell anyone. Are you his kid?"

"Why the hell would anyone think that?" I asked.

I was an average height of 175 cm man, while All Might was like 220 cm. He was blonde, I was black-haired. His eyes were light blue, mine were dark purple. He looked American, while I looked half Asian.

The only thing we had in common was our naturally muscular build.

"I've thought about it. Both of you have the same type of quirk, which happens to be stored energy, absurd levels of strength. Both of you have awakened your quirk in high school. And you're getting stronger at the same rate," she said.

Did she compare All Might's records with mine? Well, seeing how strong I am, I didn't blame her. Hell, I'd doubt she would think Izuku was All Might's kid next.

"I see where you're coming from. But I can shoot fire and lightning," I said. "Wouldn't I be taller though if he was my dad?"

"I thought it could be a morphed form since his quirk is energy type," she said, "but you have a point."

"And here I thought blondes were brain-dead," I muttered.

Midnight smiled. I thought she was offended. But she was happy.

"So watched the interview. You think that as well. But they excuse them because they are young," Midnight said.

She couldn't even think I was talking about her, but about Mt lady. As for the interview? As a company holder, I couldn't possibly have time.

"Yes. And the only thing she could say old woman to throw argument."

"Yes," Midnight nodded. "You're going to get extra grades." She then looked at one student who was testing his grip. "You stop." And then she ran toward him.

The records were done quickly. Almost everyone improved.

Midnight gathered the class and said. "Let's get back to class. I haven't given you the schedule yet."

We then headed on our way back to the class.

On my way, I found a white-haired girl running toward me.

Eri. She seemed to have grown taller. Her hair, which was neck length, was shoulder length. Contrary to the time she'd been with Kai, she looked healthy.

"Big brother!" she stretched her arms wide open while running.

I sat on my knee and extended to her. She jumped on them, and I stood up, throwing her in the air a few meters up before holding her. Then throwing her again.

During the vacations, she occasionally visited me and Nejire at our houses. It was once every week.

I had believed that she'd get bored and get busy with what kids do – playing. But apparently, those who had been rescued, form strong bonds and reliance on the people whom they found after being rescued.

It could be that. Or the fact that I buy her a huge amount of candy each time she came.

Aizawa hadn't been happy with that and told me I'd ruin her eating habits.

"Seeing that you're here. I guess Aizawa let you play around," I said.

"Ummm… He said that he's going to test his students." She replied, "Eri wanted to play. But he said he's going to show mean face."

Aizawa's mean face. It meant that he was ready to expel a class.

He had a reputation for expelling whole classes at once because he had seen no potential in them.

Now, Aizawa was a man who accepted a student whose superpower was a tail – an extra limb.

He wasn't a man with high standards in the first place. If he expelled a class, it's on them. I put Eri on my shoulder and walked around. Before entering the class, I could see that Aizawa had taken over another sports field.

Because of the strength of my cultivator's eyesight, I could see them clearly.

Mineta was standing behind a tall girl. Because he was short, he had a good angle. And he was enjoying the view while Aizawa was telling them that he'd expel the last one.

Mineta shifted his gaze and closed his eyes when a girl spotted him, pretending to be a saint.

'How am I related to this guy?' I thought as I put Eri down. She ran around as I made my way to the class.

Midnight Sensei then proceeded to give us the schedule. The second year was less study-focused and more focused on training. Also, we could sign up to get our hero licenses by the end of the trimester.

After the homeroom class, we had a math and history class. Afterwards, we went to the cafeteria.

It was a perfect time to see if anyone was suspicious among the people from Class 1-A or 2-B.

I was, however, with Nejire, picking up our lunches.

Although I'm rich now and had butlers to serve me food, nothing beats the food UA served.

"Isn't that your little brother?" Nejire pointed at one table.

It was the Class 1-A table. Half of their students were there.

'Their class has a bunch of cuties,' I thought before looking at Nejire. 'But I prefer this.'

"What are you suggesting?" she asked.

"Maybe say hi," I said. "I'd embarrass him a bit."

"Why do older siblings do that?" she asked, putting her finger under her lip.

"Superiority complexes," I deadpanned.

She chuckled.

I then lifted my plate and we went to the table where Mineta was sitting.

"Mind if we join in," I spoke.

"Oh, it's big bro," said Mineta, smiling widely. "Please, sit down."

He had a different attitude. It was like more of bragging than showing respect.

'He's trying to use my reputation to gain a position here. I'd have done the same.' I smiled as I sat down, Nejire taking her seat next to me.

"Mineta, It's been 3 months since the last I saw you. When are you going to hit your growth spurt?" asked Nejire as she examined him with a smile.

'Wow.' I raised my eyebrows. She did more emotional damage than I could.

"I stopped growing 4 years ago," said Mineta, looking at his plate, pretending not to hear that. He'd got used to Nejire's remarks whenever she visited.

"Maybe you should try drinking a lot of milk. Look at Kenshiro here. You two share the same genes. But he's muscular," she said, pointing to me.

I decided to change the topic.

"So, Mineta. Tell me, you managed to keep your spot."

"You mean after the test. Is it the norm that teachers threaten to expel you?"

I nodded. "By the way. Did you get what I asked you."

By that, I meant the schedule of UA. I needed to know which day the villains would attack.

"Yes. I've sent you a copy to your phone," Mineta said.

I smiled. He did a good job. But now, I've got more important tasks. He could steal the DNA samples from his classmates and bring them to me.

Well, most of their quirks were trash other than half-ice half-fire and bomb and creation. Even class B had better quirks. Compare the tails to the ability to shrink objects or to move objects with your mind.

Talking about creation, I turned my head.

Remember the tall girl that Mineta was staring at earlier?

She was looking at me from the other table, her black eyes scanning me. She had hair tied back in a spiky way, and she had a mature body that would make one think she's at college instead of high school.

This girl had a quirk that could make her a false god.

She could create anything as long as she knows the formula of the atoms.

She could even create complex machines out of her fat. Even devices with complexity by pulling them out of her fat.

With her quirk, she could create gold. She could recreate artifacts from the cultivation/magic worlds.

Nejire turned her head and stared at the black-haired girl as well, raising her eyebrow.

"Excuse me. Aren't you the one who owns Snake Bio-Tecs?" said the black-haired girl.

"Do I know you?" I asked, smiling, placing my chin on my hand, elbow on the table. I was more impressed that she knew who I am.
