57 Chapter 57

The conversation with Nezu was so good, and he taught me a lot of things. One of them was the solution to my problem, which was liquidating my cash.

It seemed that I had to buy any kind of assets and take a loan from the bank.

Luckily, the banks nowadays accept major cryptos as assets, along with other companies' stocks.

Thanks to Rin's ability, I could tell which stock would fall in price in the future, buy it, and then use it to take a loan.

On the other hand, Nezu wanted to buy some shares in the company because he was interested in the Superman serum project we had. It was a good project. If I signed a contract with the militaries and police, a bunch of humans with enhanced physics could be born.

Nezu had made a good choice because that was not the only project I had in mind for the future. After all, I had access to many scientists in the future.

And thanks to my passive income from Stain's saliva and Mineta's balls, I was receiving a huge sum of money regularly. My coins were at above 1.5 million coins.

Once I finished school, I went directly to the company's office. Since I had shadow clones to train, I could do that. But feeling guilty and a bit pressured from the future made me make a new decision.

I created extra shadow clones.

They may cultivate and train at the same level.

They may increase the pain I could feel from absorbing the accumulated energy.

They'd definitely deplete more resources.

But it would also strengthen my foundation very quickly, which would allow me to break through faster.

Once I reached my company's building, I met Rin at her office.

She was working diligently. The wealth displayed on her screen and the numbers were hard to read.

"There are some politicians that want to meet you," she said, "they have good potential to enter the National Diet."

The National Diet was the congress of Japan.

Having a few people affiliated with me there would be beneficial.

After all, even if this was a hero society, it was still a corrupt one.

I wanted to have some sort of power that I could wield as I liked in the future.

"Sure, invite them in," I said, "Also, we need the ones with the highest loyalty."

"I knew you'd ask that," she replied.

"By the way, how about the cloning progress?" I asked.

"Our researchers are learning from the papers you provided," she said, "by the way, I have to ask. Where did you get them from?"

Teasingly, I raised my eyebrow and said, "the miss who tapped into my future didn't know how?"

She knew that I'd forbidden her from tapping into my far future, but she sometimes would do it behind my back.

"It's not like I don't know. It's like you lay down, change your eye color, and then open your laptop and start writing," she said.

So she caught me buying knowledge from the system, except that she couldn't see me do that.

"Oh, my little girl doesn't know everything," I said, raising my eyebrows.

"Stop it, I'm not a little girl. I'm taller than you."

"So says every tall person when they lose an argument," I laughed.

"Daddy!!!" She pouted, seeming upset and about to cry.

Although she matured, she still took my teasing too seriously.

I reached my hand to her hair and patted it a bit.

"Come on, I'm just teasing you a bit. You have got a point. You can't know what you don't understand, so don't get upset."

"But you teased me," she replied.

Oh well. She had her own will. Better be on her good side then.

"I only tease the people I like," I explained.

"Really?" her expression changed.

"Um," I smiled, "want to eat ice-cream?" I teased.

"You're treating me like a child," she turned her head.

"Aren't you my little girl?" I asked, grabbing her cheek and pulling it.

"Stop it," she giggled and turned her head, blushing. "By the way, I have a question?"

"Go ahead."

"I've watched in a movie that they cloned people so that they use them as organ donors. You're not doing that to me, right?"

"Why would I?" I asked. "Besides, those movies are fiction, and this world doesn't have cloning technology in the first place."

"Then, why did you create me?" she asked.

"Because I wanted you by my side. Is that enough of an answer?" I replied with a warm daddy smile.

Apparently, she was having an existential dilemma. Like any other human. But instead of finding religion and philosophy, she turned to me.

Shaking her head, she said. "I think a lot about it. But I wonder how you see me?"

"Listen. I was brought from a penis and womb," I said, "You were brought from DNA and a machine. My parents created me because they were lonely and wanted to express love. I guess it ran in my blood. But if you want to leave, I can't stop you. You're an adult already."

It's decided. I'd never use the cloning technology again unless I wanted to start a family.

"I can't leave you," she said.

So she thought about it. Disappointed, I lowered my head.

"It's not like what you are thinking. It's an instinct of mine, like a maternal instinct, to be by your side," she said.

I smiled, and she smiled, feeling happy.

"Alright. Let's go and slay some politicians," I said, standing up.

"Wait a bit. I'll just close this position," she went to the laptop and clicked on something. "Alright, we're good to go."

And so, my life started progressing faster after that day.

It consisted mostly of meeting politicians at night and training the whole day, while seeing if there was bio-tech knowledge worth buying.

My classes B and A from the first year went through a summer camp to train.

I, on the other hand, got special permission to not attend since I had personal training.

I didn't lie; my life was mostly between building a political foundation and preparing for my fight against the villains for the new academic year.

If there was one thing I hated, it would be socializing with politicians who were making their way to the National Diet and the Public Safety Hero Association. They had audience, ambition, but lacked money, money that I could make by choosing meme coin.

I didn't hate politics. But these guys have huge dinners. I'd sit at a large table. Girls come in, serve rare meats, expensive plates, and pour drinks. No one mentioned the fact I was a minor or a bodybuilder to stop me from taking a drink.

Anyway, that became a part of my daily life.

Occasionally, I called Nejire, who had gone to a summer camp, where she was training to increase her power under professional heroes.

Taking into account that I was training more intensely than ever, I managed to push myself to the peak of the Earth Realm. With some expensive sources, I pushed into the Heaven Realm, trusting that I have a strong foundation.

What I didn't take into account was that heaven would be angry at me.

When I was in a meditation pose above my

house, about to achieve a breakthrough, the clouds covered the sky. Lightning with different colors – red, blue, purple, and green, gathered.

It was the heavenly trial.

In cultivation novels, when one challenges the rules of the world, the world tries to punish them.

Only when they pass that, they'd achieve something.

Anyway, I ran to the backyard, taking a defensive stance.

I opened my system, bringing some stuff that I had bought.

[Lightning Armor.]

[Extreme healing potions x10]

My Yang warrior method allowed me to deal with lightning. However, I wasn't certain that I could withstand a supernatural one.

The lightning bolts started showering me. The loud thunder voice drummed in my ear, temporarily rendering me deaf.

My body could withstand that. Not only so, but I could absorb the energy directly into my heart.

I broke through to the Heroic rank, and with each bolt, my mana and power kept increasing, putting me at the peak, almost reaching the epic rank.

But after that, my heart felt weak, and I could barely absorb the lightning, so I had to get hit by it, getting damaged. Luckily, I had healing potions with me, which healed me.

Once it was done, I was on my knees. I didn't feel pain. But just plain numb.

I could feel that my power increased at least threefold, and so my energies.

Heaven Realm Level 1.

After drinking one more potion, I could feel my new cultivation level.

The air around me was controllable.

Slowly, I started floating.

I looked at my hands, channeling mana to them. One had lightning to it, and the other had an extreme hot flame attached.

As tempted as I was to test my power level, I didn't want to destroy my house. I'd use magical VR for that.

"The training has paid off," I muttered with a smile. "And the summer vacation is over."

I went to my room and grabbed my phone.

Nejire had sent me a message, which said, "Ready for school next week."

"More than ready," I replied, thinking about the villain attack. They'd learn who they are messing with.
