1 Chapter 1: The Beginning

"Imagine how cool that would be in real life!" Said The man who looked like any average Joe on the street in his 30s and who is currently wearing pajamas.

the man whose name is "Ben Moore" who is sitting on his couch in his tiny house and is currently watching the final episode of Ben 10 Omniverse as Ben was currently holding the big bang and the Omnitrix transforming him into multiple aliens trying to find the Right alien for the job.

Then the Omnitrix transforms Ben into his favorite alien "Feedback" so he can hold the big bang in the palms of his hands and making it stable, then he floated forward while still holding the big bang, "You cannot do this!" said maltruant who is a rouge chronosapien infinite timelines and universes.

"You wanted your very own big bang" then released the energy of the big bang into Maltruant then shortly after exploded, restarting the time loop in which he's trapped in without even realizing it.

"Man life sucks, While I'm here at home depressed and alone because of those awful backstabbers." He said with the hints of anger in his voice also trying not to tear up, "I wish I could redo my life" said with sadness in his voice.

But before he could think of anything else a British voice came out of nowhere surprising him, "well it seems like today is your lucky day." He started to look around to find the voice while also thinking it somehow sounded very familiar to him.

"Where are you and who are you?" He yelled trying to find him, "behind you" suddenly said behind him, "and for who am I?, I think you already know the answer to that." Then Ben slowly turned around to look at him.

Then what he saw surprised him was a man who has fair skin, grey eyes, and black hair and wore white lab coat which has brown and black pouches and gold trim, and underneath, he wears a black turtleneck with a white scarf, and his brown vest has gold buttons and pouches. He has a new pair of goggles around his neck and the Chrono Navigator disguised as a metal gauntlet on his right hand and a fingerless glove on his left. His black pants have brown knee pads, and he wears a pair of brown boots with gold straps.

"Professor Paradox?, You're real?, Like real real?." Then he started to slowly raise his arm to try and touch him,"of course I'm real, Gumball?." Said while having a smile on his face and holding the paper bag full of gumballs.

Ben then nodded his still not believing what was happening while reaching his hand grabbing a red gumball then asking him a question, "Why are you h-", "here? Isn't it obvious?, To redo your life of course." Saying it as it is the most obvious thing, blowing up Ben's mind making him drop the gumball into the ground and the room became quiet all you could hear was the tv that was still on.

A couple of seconds later Ben said "I'm probably dreaming, of course any second now I will wake up and become depressed again, yay me", paradox came forward and pinched Ben's arm to make him feel pain and make him realize that this isn't a dream.

"That hurt" said rubbing the spot where paradox pinched his arm , "well of course, that was the whole point of pinching your arm.", "Ok, if this whole thing is really real and you want to redo my life, which of course I still don't believe, why do you want to do it?".

"Of course I'm not doing it just for you, I'm doing it for the universe Earth you're about to go to and I want you to save it from destruction.", Making the room tense for a moment then he continued " of course you don't have to if you don't want to." Confusing him.

"What? Ok let's restart, you Want me to go to a different earth, to protect it from destruction, but I can still refuse?" He said in a very slow manner, " yes that's pretty much it." , "But why me though, I'm just an average Joe and who also has depression and trust issues.", "Well I chose you because you know what it feels to lose everything by the people who you deemed were your friends, truly some people can become heartless just for some money.".

Ben couldn't rebuke what paradox said, as much as he wanted to believe in humanity he couldn't anymore, sure there are good people who give away millions of dollars for charity but the negatives way out way the positives In his opinion.

Then paradox said "but that doesn't mean that we should give up, we fight for what's right not for ourselves, but for you right now don't believe that we should." Said staying quiet for a couple of minutes making him take the words in, "when you go to other earth you probably won't want to become a hero, you will use the power that I'm gonna give you for selfish reasons at first and for yourself, but after some time you will see first hand why heros always fight for what's right, but we'll leave that discussion for later that's if you agree of course."

But before he could take all that in a blue portal suddenly came behind paradox, "If you want to accept my offer go inside the portal and if you want to refuse my offer you could stay here but you'll forget everything we talked about, I'll give 10 minutes, think about it carefully." Then paradox stepped through the portal.

Making Ben all alone in the room, and because all that happened he layed down on the couch, thinking about what just happened going to a different earth, being a hero, and something about powers, AND SAVING THE EARTH OF DESTRUCTION.

Then Ben started to think "(Ok, so I can stay here if I want to and I won't put myself in danger just to save assholes who are annoying and backstab people for money and for that I say let the earth get destroyed, why bother saving anyone there would be more villains or gang bosses and I will even bet that humanity will go extinct not from some supernatural or aliens, NO They will kill themselves later on anyway.)"

Then he realized that his way of thinking is just like azmuth in his first appearance where he was in a empty planet, being sad and depressed, and the reason was because his love of his life left him.

Ben has now realized that he was just like azmuth and the similarities that both of them were sad, depressed, and most importantly that they gave up hope.

Hope, Yes the word hope, it has been many years since he had thought of that word, if azmuth lost fire of hope but got reignited once again just from a kid who didn't give up when things seems hopeless, maybe just maybe that he can also get reignited again from the new earth he's going to, "I'm probably going to regret this later on." Then He got up and walked toward the blue portal, but before that he heard Ben 10 say his most famous line "IT'S HERO TIME!"

He stared back at the tv where it's showed earth then it started zooming out showing all the different galaxies and it's rainbow of colors.

Then he went inside the blue portal and before he knew it, THIS was the event that changed his fate for the better.
