I was in Cedric form, since my face was widely known, maybe Steve would give me some mind

"Who are you!" he asked as he stopped punching the shit out of the bag, small trails of sand leaking from it

"I am a fan, as well as a hero, you might know me as Mr. Magic, or the miracle man."

Steve looked at me, maybe he was trying to gauge my strength, I bet I can turn him into meat paste with just my spider physique, but he had a vibranium shield so I might get some resistance.

Which made me think about how I can fight shit like adamantium and Vibranium is safely being held by Wakanda, I can't just barge in there and get it for myself, so I need to go to space for it.

I doubt they would give me much even if I find them Ulleysi or whatever his name was.

"Excuse me!" Steve brought me out of my thinking cap by clapping his hands.

"Ah! sorry, my bad, just started thinking about some stuff."

"What do you need from me?" Steve asked as he picked up his bag and started wrapping up his belongings.

"I need you to convince Fury."

Steve stopped and looked at me

"You know him."

"Yeah! worked with him for a while, he took me for granted and never listened so I left."

Steve started walking out so I followed him,

"And recently he is working on something very very dangerous, it will cause an inevitable war with beings out of this world, aliens!?"

"Seriously, Aliens! how weird can this world get" Spoke Steve as he got on his bike.

I knew he was just trying to run away, but if he is the Captain I know, then he won't just let things be.

"I have warned him many times but he thinks of everyone as an enemy, he is a frickin backstabber and a paranoid duck that can only quack at others when he makes mistakes, please ask him to stop experimentation on the Tesseract." I yelled at the top of my lungs as he drove away, the mention of the Tesseract causes him to look back at me for a moment, I read his surface thoughts, I knew he would talk to Fury.

'Did I just read someone's thoughts, sigh, bad Jack.'

If nothing else, I still have a Jean, but she is a ticking bomb, I can also contact the X-Men, though they aren't much of X-Men yet, Charles hasn't put much thought into being active disaster relief heroes so he isn't known much, The secret of Mutants isn't so spread out yet, the top organization might have an idea but I am not sure.

I used a simple Spell and changed back into my magician outfit, though now it's more like the master of mystic area outfit than anything else.

*Shooooooooo*

"What are you doing here!?"

I asked the staff as it came flying at me, I swear it wants to kill me.

"So what if you defeated bad guys, it's more than I did, I have four of my clones keeping the city safe, while three are training my Ikki template and the Madara template."

The staff emitted another soun

"What do you mean you are better, listen! this ain't a competition, sigh, whatever, just make sure that the civilian is not hurt alright."

The staff flew away, this one has an attitude problem, maybe I should have become friends with that Cloak.

I returned to the lair to the familiar scene of Peter fooling around in the lab with Bruce Banner.

I don't know how you can dance to that tune and still work, I tried once and ended up dream flying to another continent

"Oh! Hey Cedric." I greeted them both, I have employed Peter as an assistant for Bruce so that Bruce doesn't feel lonely and so that Peter can get some side cash.

I do intend to come out to the world when the Aliens attack, I am not afraid anymore. I don't wanna walk around with the face of another man on me, it was alright if I was wearing a mask-like with Blitz, but I am not, I don't wanna end up having an Identity disorder.

I am pretty sure that my mother will be freaked out but she will come around, every day I go out in the skies and lie to everyone's face, I don't wanna know what they will think once they find out the truth, like how would Peter and my friends react, how would mom react, how would Tony feel when he finally learns that I have been keeping a secret from him.

"Peter, where are Ricky and his sister!?" I asked.

"Relax! they are just chilling in the game room."

Peter told me, I thought something bad might have happened.

"And what about Professor Connors." I asked him, he did consider him a relative.

"He's been fine, we did several checkups on him to see if he is like how you said he was but everything has come out fine, are you sure you are not reacting." He asked me, I must look like a madman.

I have been keeping Ricky with me along with his sister, it's only because Jean asked me not to send them to Charles's place, I guess something must have happened, but Jean isn't willing to tell me, I can't break into her mind without her noticing, not that I ever would, but she has been keeping secrets from me so I hope I can get leverage on her once she finds out about my identity.

I also asked the professor what happened on the phone, but he went quiet, so I didn't mention it again, I hope it's not some mind-rape thing or I will kill him, Jean is my friend, Charles is an acquaintance at best.

"Maybe we should all have an outing, Ricks been a little bored, his sister is even more so since she is just a kid." Peter recommended.

"Yeah, we can do that."

"Really!"

"Yeah! just ask Rick to make something that can mask his real identity, I could do it myself but let's just keep him busy."

Bruce nodded at that, he seemed to like the idea of going out in the open, I thought I would never see such a day.

But I can't help it, I will have to pop that bubble, in the first avengers movies, Hulk was a champ, but he did a lot of damage, I want that to not happen, its time he comes to terms with his alter self, who better to guide him than the ancient one.

"Bruce, You will be going on a little trip with me first."

Bruce looked at me like I snatched his gadgets from him, he really likes his lab.

"I need you to come to terms with your powers." I told him, he went wide eyed at that and looked at Peter.

"Relax! he knows about it and nope,I did not tell him, he is a smart kid.

"Peter beamed up at that."

"Sigh, I am sorry for lying about my identity." he sighed, I could feel his remorse.

"It's alright, you were just trying to keep us safe , Cedric told me everything." Peter comforted the poor guy.

I looked at Bruce and wondered if Peter would react the same way once he finds out.
