86. Captain America

It's been a couple weeks since King's meeting with Howard. And now he is inside the bunker and talking to Howard and Captain America together.

"So let me get this straight. Your friend has been abducted by the Nazis and you want to free him". King spoke up from the side after Steve finished telling Howard about everything.

"Yeah". Steve looked at King seriously and nodded his head.

"You are telling me that you are going to a top secret mission. Which will require absolute stealth in a bright blue suit that can be seen from miles away?" King questioned ruthlessly and Steve flinched when he heard his words.

Steve looked down at his suit and couldn't help thinking that what King said was right. He can be spotted in this suit in the blink of an eye.

"You would stick out like a sore thumb, hahaha". Howard laughed and mocked Steve after he looked at his uniform carefully.

"Stop making fun of me and help me get a better suit". Steve said seriously and tried to hide his embarrassment but he wasn't very good at hiding his emotions.

"I'll go with you. I think there will be more to this than meets the eye". King also said and stood up from his chair.

"You?" Steve was a bit astonished from King's words and subconsciously questioned him without even thinking about it.

"Are you doubting my strength?" King looked back at him and smirked.

"King, you should stop at this." Howard stepped forward and patted King's shoulder to stop him from getting too ahead of himself.

"So you both don't believe me". King looked at the two guys and shook his head.

"Come on". King sat down on a bench and put a table in front of him before getting in a arm wrestling pose for Steve.

"Get on the bench". He waved his hand and ordered Steve immediately.

"Ok". Steve replied back and sat down on the bench fully non committal of King's strength boast.

King is known for his brain to everyone and not for his brawn. So Steve didn't take it seriously and just thought of appeasing a rich dude.

King could also tell Steve's thoughts without telepathy but he didn't care and firmly grasped Steve's hand for the wrestle.

"Let me be the referee". Howard stood aside and controlled the hands of the two.

"Start". Howard yelled and the match started.

King smirked and started using more strength little by little but Steve wasn't feeling anything yet because the strength didn't leave the realm of a human yet.

But soon his face started to change because the increase in strength surpassed the peak Human range and started to get stronger and stronger.

King was slowly putting more and more strength in his arm while smirking at Steve with a very happy smile on his face.

It was like he wasn't even putting any effort into this. It was just increasing without consequence and soon it was equal to him in strength but it didn't stop there.

"I give up". Steve let go of King's hand and just gave up because he knew that King wasn't even trying after looking at his face.

"How?" Howard was the most dumbfounded out of them here. He kept looking between the two monsters in front of him.

"I never showed my strength but it doesn't mean that I am weak". King rolled his shoulders to flex at the two of them.

"What serum did you use?" Howard didn't believe that this was King's own strength and asked immediately.

Who doesn't want to be strong. If he can gain the same strength then he is very willing as well. Plus looking at King, it seems the serum has no side effects.

'Maybe it can even make me more handsome than I already am. Then Peggy will beg me'. Howard's fantasies were reaching the sky with every passing moment when he thought about it.

"I do have some serums but-" King started lightly and prolonged the words to add some suspense.

"But what?" Howard couldn't take it when King paused and didn't speak for a while.

"But you have to pay a good amount of money for them". King smirked and motioned money with his fingers by rubbing them together.

"That's not a problem". Howard smiled happily because he knew that he might also become a super soldier with the Serum's help.

This will give him a longer lifespan and more power to protect himself as well. He might also make Maria take a serum as well.

She is going to be his wife in the future and his progress in the relationship with her has been very good these days. So he is fairly confident.

But he is a playboy and his nature comes in the way every time he sees a beautiful woman in front of him.

He even tried to hit on Diane, Elaine, Emma, Jean, Peggy and others but most of them didn't even give him a chance.

But this guy is also relentless and goes after them until they are truly fed up of him and give him a good mouthful.

"I know what you are thinking but my Serums are encrypted. You can't copy them". King pointed at him and said with squinted eyes.

"King, Can I ask for a favour as well?" Steve grinned and asked.

"Haaaa, lover boy speak up". King motioned with his hand.

'The price of friendship but it doesn't feel bad'. King smiled on the inside. He could give the serum to them for free. It's not like he is hungry for money.

But you have to put up some conditions to control the ambitions of people. This way, it can make sure that this thing doesn't get out of hand.

"Can you help me with getting one for Peggy?" Steve rubbed the back of his head with a smile on his face.

He looked like a boy newly in love. King smiled at this and remembered when he was on his first date with Elaine and the others.

"Alright, but you will have to pay it off". King nodded his head but didn't forget to warn him.

'Guess, I can give her a life prolonging serum with some strength boost. At least Lover boy will have his lover in the future'. King finally resolved the tidbits with them prepared to go with Steve on Bucky's rescue.
