68. Permission

It's been 500 years since King was reborn in Alfheim and came to Marvel. Yggdrasil and Death contacted him in the second century.

They actually came to visit him again and King made sure to free his schedule and even went away for a while to some other place to meet up with them.

They stayed together for a month before they had to go back and King also reluctantly left back to home.

"Oh and one last thing to tell you before we leave". Death had stopped him and said this at that time.

"Hmm, what is it?" King stopped his steps and turned around to ask.

"You are under the radar of several other beings". Death said and disappeared from the place with Yggdrasil and King was left there with a puzzled face.

Seeing that they didn't elaborate or explain. king shrugged his shoulders and went back to Alfheim through the portal.

Present day, King was going to ask Aelsa permission to travel the universe on his own. He should be able to succeed.

He has learnt all the magic and Runes on Alfheim in the past five hundred years and his martial arts training has also come to a bottleneck.

He is quite strong now though. He is as strong as Sir Ivory in combat plus his Chastiefol and Magic. He can actually beat Ivory in combat now.

This made him the second strongest in Alfheim with enough power to overwhelm Galaxies on his own.

This is also his base of confidence to roam the Universe without being killed by someone in a flash. He can at least run away from there.

King pondered to himself for a while and then got up to look for Aelsa in her quarters or the throne room.

She should be in either of the two places. This is basically her daily routine to go to Throne room and then back to her room.

King quickly roamed around the castle and found her in her quarters. So he wasn't polite and immediately barged into the room.

"Mom". King called and saw Aelsa enjoying some tea on balcony of her room.

"What is it Honey?" Aelsa turned to look at him and asked.

"I want to travel outside of Alfheim". King said immediately without beating around the bush.

"No". Aelsa denied without even thinking and calmly kept on sipping on her tea.

"Mom, I already told you that I am strong enough plus I have Lopt with me". King immediately started acting spoilt and rubbed his face on her arm.

"You know it is dangerous outside the realm. If you go then something could happen to you". Aelsa sighed and calmly explained to try and reason with King.

"But Mom, I am not going to get anything by staying in Alfheim. I need to travel the universe to get stronger". King also stopped acting spoiled and said seriously.

Aelsa was silent for a while and looked into King's eyes a bit complicatedly. She could tell that he wouldn't change his mind.

"Fine but take this bracelet and contact me regularly at least once a month". Aelsa sighed and gave King a bracelet.

"Thanks mom". King quickly thanked her, took the bracelet and bolted out of the room to look for Elaine and the other two.

He saw the three were also inexplicably having tea in the garden together. So King didn't waste his time and quickly went to them.

"King, come sit here". Freyja saw him coming and beckoned him beside her with a smile.

"Hey, grab me a cup as well". King motioned the maid and sat down between Diane and Freyja.

The maid quickly made some fresh tea and handed it to King. Then she dutifully stepped back and stood in her place.

"I am going to leave Alfheim and travel the universe". King finally brought up the topic and put the cup of tea on the table for dramatic effect.

"Mhmm". All of them nodded without saying anything else like it was normal.

"That's it?" King was puzzled by their response. This shouldn't be this simple.

"We don't want to bind you. You have you own pursuit and we will always stand behind you". Elaine put down the tea cup as well and said. Freyja and Diane also nodded to express their support to the words.

"Thanks". King thanked them and the atmosphere just turned silent and they enjoyed their time peacefully like this.

King also didn't speak and continued to enjoy this time with them because he is leaving tomorrow on his journey.

Them it will take years for him to come back and meet them again. He just wants to spend his time as much with them as possible now.

He has spent at least four to five hundred years with them and some emotions are stronger involuntarily.

You just can't run away from them. His emotions have also been like a roller coaster today. So he just wants to sort them out for peacefully.

"I need to inform Hela as well". King stood up from his seat after a while and prepared to go to Niflheim.

"We will go with you. It's been some time since we went to Hela's castle". Diane also stood up and said with a smile.

Their personalities have become more calm during the long years. Now they act more like refined adults than Kids.

"Alright". King nodded and all of them entered the portal together.

Hela was currently reading a book to relieve her boredom since there is nothing much to do in Niflheim anyway.

She usually spends her time happily when the others come around but then it gets utterly boring. It is good that she has some animals and plants to take care of which keeps her from going insane.

Just then a portal opened in front of her.

"You guys are here". Hela dropped the book in her hand and stood up from her chair. She isn't cold like her canon counter part because she has friends and people to spend time with.

"Yeah, I had something to tell you and these guys wanted to tag along". King nodded his head and came towards her.
