16 16. Maid 2

They stepped into the room and saw a small girl standing there nervously looking around the room while twiddling with her fingers.

She was about 5 or 6 years old with a cute little face that looked a bit chubby due to baby fat still present on it.

She was wearing a maid uniform and looked really cute with her small body.

She had brown hairs and eyes that were looking around erratically but finally stopped on them when they stepped into the room.

"Mom, where's my gift?" King looked around the room curiously but didn't find anything that looked like a gift to him.

"There". Aelsa pointed at the girl with a soft smile on her lips.

"Huh". Both King and Elaine were dumbfounded at the same time.

They couldn't process the thought of a person being gifted to someone else for a second.

"Don't worry, I am not making her like a slave. I am just showing you your Personal maid". Aelsa read their minds like an open book and explained with a smile.

"I see". King nodded his head in understanding and looked at the girl curiously.

Elaine's brain had short circuited for a while and she was just standing there like a statue.

"She is from the Mountain Giants race. She has been given an artefact to keep her size small. She will be your personal maid and guard in the future". Aelsa explained in detail on various things after the short introduction just now.

Diane and Elaine were just looking at all this blankly. One was too nervous to speak and the other was still short circuited.

"Absolutely not!" Elaine finally reacted and denied this vehemently.

"Elaine, you also have a personal Maid and she takes care of your daily needs. You have no right to deny King from having one". Aelsa kept her smile but her smile sent chills in Elaine's body.

"No". She still tried to weakly deny this but was properly overpowered by Aelsa's dangerous aura.

"Good girl". Seeing that Elaine has stopped protesting. Aelsa nodded her head in satisfaction.

"Introduce yourself". Aelsa looked over to the short girl and commanded in an authoritative voice.

"Yes!" The girl reacted quickly and bowed her head then lifted it up again.

"I am Diane from the Mountain Giants tribe. I will do my best to be your personal maid Your Highness". Diane introduced herself loudly and then finished with a bow at the end.

"Good". Aelsa nodded her head in satisfaction when she heard Diane's introduction.

She is soft on her children but the outsiders feel her imperial aura in fill.

Especially after being in power for so long. Her imperial aura has only gotten stronger that makes people want to bow their heads.

She has never required King and Elaine to bow their heads in official occasions as well. They don't even call her Queen mother or something.

Otherwise, Odin requires anyone to kneel when they see him and heed his words.

This is the difference between the two but she is only soft on King and Elaine. Others can't get this favour at all.

"Thank you, your Majesty". Diane bowed her head and thanked vigorously.

"Go on Honey, introduce yourself as well". Aelsa stroked King's head softly and said.

King nodded his head and walked towards Diane a bit more.

He looked at her in the eyes and started his introduction.

"King Featherwine, the crown Prince of Alfheim". His back was straight and he exuded confidence in his introduction.

"Thank you for your introduction, Your Highness". Diane bowed and thanked him.

She was taught by the maids here before for a year and only then was she allowed to serve King as his personal maid and guard.

"Nice to meet you". King said cheerfully after introduction and looked at Diane eagerly.

Diane was a bit awkward when she heard King's words.

King was only a child and was happy to get another playmate. He might have the memories but it was like watching a movie and didn't have any emotions behind it.

So his personality wasn't affected much and he was still a five years old kid. So it was normal for him to act like this.

"It's my honour, Your highness". Diane said with a smile on her lips finally.

'He has a natural charm'. Aelsa thought to herself with a smile when she saw Diane easing out a little.

This was also good because she will be serving by his side in the future and being too rigid and afraid will only be counter productive.

"Hmph". Elaine snorted her nose in discontent and quickly reached to hug King's arm tightly.

"Stay away from my brother". Elaine said it like an obsession.

She didn't know why but she just didn't want to share King with anyone.

She is only ten years old and knows little about matters like love and the opposite sex.

Elves and Fairies are naturally extremely long lived. They can live way longer than Asgardians.

So they tend to be slow with their life and just take things as they come in a lax nature.

So Elaine has still not been educated on the subject related to men and women.

Plus this is not twenty first century that children that Children can do some research on their own.

They might not be able to watch 18+ websites but some casual videos on YouTube are still possible to go through their eyes.

They are still ignorant about it but it still builds up and at least makes them aware of some things.

"I am sorry, your Highness". Diane bowed earnestly and asked for forgiveness.

She even shivered a little from fear of doing something that might come to bite her back.

"Elaine, Diane is my maid. You can't do this to her". King quickly defended Diane innocently.

"I'm not talking to you". Elaine saw that King was defending the maid that she was dissatisfied with and ran away with tears in her eyes.

"Elaine!" King shouted and ran behind her immediately. Chastiefol followed behind King like a guard.

"Your Highness!" Diane shouted and like an obedient maid followed after King.

All three children ran out from the room together under Aelsa's eyes.

'These two'. Aelsa shook her head with a smile and started to make her way over to the throne room. She was already satisfied with the obedient Diane.
