15 15. Maid

"Finally here?" Aelsa questioned with a smile and motioned for King to come and sit next to her.

"Mom, good morning". King greeted her politely with a smile and floated over to her on Chastiefol.

"Good morning Dear. How was your sleep?" Aelsa replied with a soft smile and stroked his head comfortingly.

"I couldn't sleep in my excitement". King answered truthfully and contentedly closed his eyes to feel the caress on his head.

"Hey King, what's that?" Elaine disrupted the rhythm by quickly running towards King and looking at the puppy on Chastiefol.

"Oh, this is my summon. It is a gift from someone". King took Lopt into his arms and cuddled him affectionately.

"Really?" Elaine's eyes shone brightly when she heard King.

"Hehe, here this is for you". Elaine took out a small necklace made of flowers that she was hiding behind her.

"Happy Birthday". She put the necklace on his neck by climbing up on Chastiefol and congratulated him cheerfully.

"Thank you". King smiled brightly and thanked her happily.

"You're welcome". Elaine clutched onto his neck and hugged him tightly without letting go like usual.

"Who gave you this gift?" Aelsa interjected after Elaine had given her gift to Alex.

"I don't want to say". King shook his head and said a bit sorrowfully to her.

King never lies and always speaks the truth. He hates it when someone lies to him as well.

So he just said that he didn't want to say it to not have to lie to anyone about it.

"It's okay honey, no need to worry". Aelsa understood something that maybe it was given to him by Yggdrasil and he didn't want to say because she prohibited him.

So Aelsa didn't force him and just smiled at him softly in comfort.

"Thanks mom". King smiled and thanked Aelsa happily before staring at her expectantly as well.

He was just a five years old child and he was expecting to receive a gift from his mother because it was his birthday today.

It didn't matter to him if the gift was extravagant or something. The only thing mattered was that he receives a gift from her.

"Here". King was getting a bit suffocated from Elaine's hold that was getting tighter and tighter on his neck.

So King picked up Lopt from his legs and gave it to Elaine before looking back at Aelsa again.

"Okay, eat your food first and then I will take you to where your gift is?" Aelsa smiled and patted King's head before she started to dine on her food.

Her movements were fluid and elegant like a flowing dance or art.

King had also started to learn etiquette and he was a bit awkward at it for now but her was improving quite well.

His movements weren't all that jerky anymore and he could at least show some good noble table etiquettes if needed.

He was only slow at learning them because he never paid much attention to these auxiliary things.

He was more focused on learning energy manipulation to perform magic and other languages at the moment.

His Magic practice was coming along nicely with him being able to use all elements to perform the very basic of magics that don't hold much power behind them but when you have unlimited supply of energy because of being Yggdrasil's champion then the situation changes drastically.

Yggdrasil is the tree that connects anything and everything in existence. It connects to all the creatures and things in the entire Omniverse of Marvel.

It's just restricted to not being able to take action directly against the people or Yggdrasil will just be a step lower than One Above All himself.

King knew that Yggdrasil was powerful but only felt it truly when he felt the connection of vast energy that was connected to him.

But he couldn't think of so many things and just knew that she was strong like really strong.

His childish thoughts only made him feel excited and a bit afraid of the power.

Yggdrasil was also sulking when she felt King's emotions through their connection. It her hard when she found that King was a bit afraid of her now. But she comforted herself that he was just a child now.

The emotions he had from his previous were erased when he reincarnated and only had the emotions of one year together with Death and Yggdrasil.

They didn't want him to forget them. So they didn't erase that part of the emotions from him.

King snapped back from his thoughts and saw that he had unknowingly finished all the food in front of him while in his thoughts.

"Mom, can you give me the gift now?" King asked expectantly while looking at her with shining eyes.

"Of course, follow me". Aelsa nodded with a smile and stood up gracefully from the chair.

"I want to see too". Elaine cheered and continued to play with Lopt in her arms.

She was sitting close to King and her shoulders were literally touching him even thought there was a lot of space left on the side.

The three of them followed behind her quietly while feeling some anticipation in their hearts for the gift.

Although Lopt didn't know anything and was just happily wagging his tail in Elaine's arms.

His tongue was out and he looked super cute at the moment.

King wanted to hug Lopt to death but for hisbown sake, he left Lopt to Elaine.

They soon came to a separate area in the castle where Maids stay and rest.

"Your Majesty and Your Highnesses". A maid coming out immediately saluted as soon as she saw Aelsa and the two children.

"Be at ease. I am here for that one". Aelsa hinted to the maid and she immediately understood Aelsa's hint.

"Please this way". She bent her waist a little and led them all inside the dormitory building.

"Your Majesty and Your highnesses!" A loud salute came as soon as they stepped inside the building.

"Be at ease". Aelsa waved her hand and all the Maids got back to what they were doing.

The Current maid led them all to a separate lounge and bowed at the three of them.

Aelsa waved her hand in acknowledgment and opened the door to the lounge herself.
