11 11. Introduction

She calmly took the dressed up King in her arms and started walking towards the throne room elegantly.

The Maids had worked hard to make new clothes and dressing him up while Aelsa was getting dressed herself.

This was all done in an hour or two before the two exited the room and started heading towards the throne room of the castle.

The Maids and the other workers of the castle looked at the floating pillow and King in the Queens arms with astonishment but it was only momentary before they returned to a normal and calm expression.

Aelsa was pleased at this display when she saw that the guards had good discipline and nodded her head with a smile.

"Your Majesty". The guards outside the throne room immediately saluted and the opened the door respectfully for her.

This was like a procedure to allow for her presence to be known to the ones inside the room.

"Your Majesty". A loud salute followed as soon as she stepped into the room.

The nobles and Ministers bowed their bodies while the knights kneeled on her entrance to the room.

"At ease". Aelsa motioned and everyone either stood up or sat down on their chairs.

Aelsa also walked to the stairs gracefully and sat down on the throne elegantly.

Every move of hers had finesse, a natural charm and elegance to it that made people look at her a bit more.

Aelsa sat down and everyone kept looking at the floating pillow and the baby in her arms with extreme curiosity.

"I am sure that everyone is very surprised about the child in the my arms". Aelsa glanced at everyone and saw them nodding their heads slightly in affirmation.

"This child will be the hope of our Alfheim to maintain the peace and neutrality. He was bestowed upon me by the spirits and the Realm of Alfheim itself. He will be my own son in the future". Aelsa said with a strong and commanding voice when she mentioned the things about King.

The nobles and the ministers were astonished at first but then grew ecstatic when they heard her words.

They were all used to the peace and were pacifists that never liked to have conflict with the others.

So this news was a very happy event for them. They couldn't ask for more. This also solidified Aelsa's position as the queen when she talked about the Spirits and the Realm.

"This right here is the proof. It is a spiritual weapon that is bound to this child and can take many forms". Aelsa pointed towards the floating cushion and everyone turned their heads.

They were astonished when they saw the cushion turn into a giant Boar spear and then turn back into a cushion.

"Congratulations, Your Majesty". Everyone quickly stood up and congratulated in a hurry.

No one wanted to be slower than the other. Everyone wanted to gain the new Monarch's favour.

'A group of crafty old dogs'. Aelsa sneered in her mind when she saw this but still maintained an elegant smile on her face.

"Thank you". She nodded her head and everyone quieted down instantly.

"He will be the Crown Prince of Alfheim in the future. Do you have any objections?" Aelsa asked and looked around at everyone.

"No, this is a very good idea, Your Majesty". The old coots shook their heads and praised Aelsa unceremoniously.

'This way, we can tie him firmly to Alfheim as well. This will only be beneficial for us'. Aelsa looked down at King with a bit of calculating eyes.

She has agreed to help Yggdrasil and already treats King very well but she also has her own motives behind it.

There is no free lunch in this world and being able to get all this is already a very good for King.

"Your Majesty, what is His Highness' name?" One of the ministers asked tentatively and everyone clicked their tongues that they missed the chance.

"His name is King Featherwine". Aelsa announced and all of them nodded thoughtfully.

"A very Majestic name". A noble shamelessly commented and the others quickly followed to support the claim.

Aelsa thanked and smiled at them without meaning to say anything else.

After this show of introduction was over. Everyone finally got down to some real business.

"Your Majesty, the young king of Asgard will hold his coronation ceremony in five years time after he returns from training. We have been invited. How do you want to handle this matter?" A minister stood up and reported calmly.

"We will visit on time. Asgard is a good friend of Alfheim and we will not neglect such a big event". Aelsa said calmly.

The minister nodded his head and sat down after reporting the matter.

"Your Majesty, reports of monsters in the Murlocs cities has been made and they are requesting support from the capital". A general reported on the matter with a strong and serious tone.

"Send some soldiers first to survey the danger of the task then deal with it accordingly". Aelsa spoke calmly with an unhurried tone.

"Yes, Your Majesty". The General saluted and walked out of the room to make preparations.

Like this, the whole day went with Aelsa dealing with multiple issues of the Realm and also listening to the compliments from the court officials.

Aelsa was mentally exhausted by the end of the day and walked back to her room while holding King in her arms.

Chastiefol followed behind them like a loyal guard and went everywhere with them.

Aelsa calmly laid down on the bed and laid King on top of Chastiefol. it was more comfortable than any material or beds that they could provide him.

So she didn't even bother with anything else and just put him on top of Chastiefol.

Chastiefol just used some energy to soothe King and swayed gently from side to side.

King was extremely comfortable and slept very comfortably.

"Mom, how is King?" Elained walked in with a smile and this time, she made sure to gently open the door and speak in a low voice.

"He is sleeping". Aelsa motioned with her hand and pointed at him.

"Oh". Elaine said in a weak voice and pouted. She wanted to play with him.

Aelsa laughed and put Elaine beside her on bed to sleep and retire for the night.
