1 Reborn and Terrific situation (Grammer edited)

"Max, what are you doing this early?" Pepper asked the kid who was running in the park as early as 4 am.

"Sister, I read that exercise is good for health, so that's why... MAX," Max was explaining, only to hear a shout. Upon hearing his sister's angry voice, he obediently shut his mouth.

"I know it's good, but YOU ARE ONLY 4 YEARS OLD for goodness' sake. Sigh, come here," Pepper shouted at him for the millionth time that month.

She didn't know where her obedient, good brother went; the one who always listened to her, never complained, and always studied properly.

He had become like this since the past month.

She now suspected her brother was entering that phase of life where they start dreaming of doing this and that. Clearly, her brother was thinking of becoming some bodybuilder freak, which she didn't want. She had such a cute brother, and she couldn't let him go down the path of a muscle freak.

She dragged her kid brother back into his room, made him sleep on his bed, then sang him a lullaby. After 5 minutes, when she saw him sleeping, she left after closing the door.

Slowly opening his eyes, Max peeked at the door, seeing no one there. He sat up on his bed, sighing like an old man burdened with too much on his shoulders.

"It's not that I am a fitness freak, sister, but this world is on another level," Max stood up and took the newspaper he had hidden, which was from the Daily Bugle company. On the front page was Tony Stark's face, praised as the most genius man of this century.

At first, when he saw himself reincarnated as a baby, he was happy. After all, isekai was one of his most favorite genres. But it only lasted until he saw Tony Stark and the Daily Bugle. All his grand plans of becoming rich by copying his world's anime works went down the drain.

As a hardcore fan of Marvel, he knew Mad Titan Thanos was the least of his worries. Marvel is filled with much worse freaks who could make Thanos run for his life just with their mere gaze, even if he had all the Infinity Stones.

So, he came up with a plan according to a Marvel fanfic he once read. In the story, the main character is smart because of his reincarnation and becomes a genius equivalent to Tony Stark, joining the Avengers. Thinking the same would happen with him, he started studying at the age of 2. But the last two years had given him a reality check; he was only a little bit smarter than the average person, thwarting his plan of becoming smarter than Tony.

Max started his next plan, which was to train hard and meditate hard to reach the standard of Kamar-Taj.

Max sighed again, looking at the date showing 1996, just 12 years before the start of the Avengers arc.

"Hopefully, my Transmigrated soul gives me an advantage in Arcane studies. Or was it Mystic Arts, perhaps?" Max mumbled and sat cross-legged to meditate, hoping that it would increase his mental or spiritual strength required for Kamar-Taj's Mystic Arts.

After two hours of constant meditation, he opened his eyes.

"Don't know if it's working or not, but it sure makes me feel peaceful," Max smiled as he stretched.

"Well, strength is important in Marvel, or you wouldn't even know when you died," Max encouraged himself, thinking all of this was important for his family's and his safety, especially his sister's safety.

Speaking of his sister, he was quite fortunate to have Pepper Potts as his sister, who would become the wife of future Tony Stark. In this life, his name in this life is Max Potts, and he is 12 years younger than his sister.

She is already working as a secretary to that playboy. Honestly, if he didn't know the future where Tony sacrificed himself for everyone, he wouldn't let her sister near that playboy Tony. Plus, his favorite superhero was Tony, who, with his mortal body and genius brains, went against infinity holders. Truly a fantastic moment.

"Sigh, how I wish I also had the almighty System, but I don't have it. What a failure of Transmigration am I, without any cheats," Max said with a sad look, recalling all the Marvel fanfics he had read in his free time.

[Actually, it's Greatest System Host, but Almighty also sounds good.]

[Would the host like to change the name?]

[Yes/No]

Max: "..."

System: ":)"

Max: "..."

System: ":)"

"System, since when have you been online?" Max asked in a calm voice, though there was a grinding sound of teeth expressing something else.

[Since you had your first heartbeat, Host.]

"Meaning since I was in my mother's womb?" Max asked calmly but clenching his fists.

[Affirmative]

"Dear System, do you perhaps also have physical manifestation?" Max asked, smiling like the devil.

[Host, it is advised to not take that step until you are 18+.]

Max: "...." (Dumbfounded)

Max: ".....(Frowning)...(Processing).....(Processing)...(Realizing) YOU DUCKING BASSHOLE @#@#%$"

"MAX, what was that?" (Hurried steps)

"What was that, Maxy? I heard you shouting just now," Pepper entered the room, looking at Max's red face, which looked like he was just about to cry (Pepper's perspective). Actually, his blood was boiling with anger.

"N-nothing, big sis, it was a n-nightmare." 'I mean, hopefully, it wasn't a nightmare,' Max said, the first half for his sister and the second for himself.

*chuckles* "Since when did you start fearing? I still remember seeing your bored look in the haunted house last winter. Well, whatever, since you are now awake, go freshen up; it's time for your school." Saying this, she went back to the kitchen.

"Bahh, it's not my fault haunted houses here are more cartoonish, even more than a certain friendly ghost. I had a hard time suppressing my disgust and curses seeing such ghosts," Max complained with a weak voice, hoping his sister wouldn't hear it.

"Now, System, why didn't you say anything for the past 4 years?" Max asked mentally.

[You never asked or said the code word.]

"Code word?" Max

[Yes, "Status" or "System."]

"Hmm, that's the reason?" Max

[Yes....*Bang*.]

[Host, why are you banging your head against the bed?]

"I AM punishing my stupidity," *Bang* Max replied while banging his head on the soft bed.

[Host, it is detected that your method has a 0% punishment result. You should try edges or walls for the best result.]

"Hell no, it will hurt," Max replied while continuing his non-existent punishment.

[.....]
