I Have A System?

In the current year, in New York City, in a run-down apartment, Adam was laying down on his bed sleeping when he heard a loud noise, but just as he opened his eyes, he saw a white flash, then nothing.

After an unknown time, Adam wakes up to a pain in his buttocks. Not knowing what happened, he lets out a cry. Hearing himself, Adam opens his eyes and sees he's in a white room, hanging upside down, trying to look around, and seeing an old-looking doctor and nurses. Feeling shock, he lets out more noises, making the doctor hold him normally and then proceed to hand him over to a beautiful woman.

"Miss Bayard, congratulations on a healthy baby boy."

"Thank you, doctor. Can someone let my husband know?" she told the man in an Italian-accented voice.

"Yes, right away, and I'll get you to your room so you can rest."

Adam, meanwhile, was shocked to learn he was a baby! Snuggled up in a blanket in his new mother's arms, he couldn't see anything. Getting into a new room and getting comfortable when loud footsteps running could be heard when a tall man burst into the room and came to the bedside and hugged the woman, looking down on Adam

"How was everything? Did everything go well? How's the baby's health?"

"Everything was fine; your son was born healthy." One of the nurses tells him before leaving.

"Lucia, thank you for giving us such a healthy boy." The man say's with a big smile.

"James, I love you."

All the while Adam was in his mother's arms looking up, seeing his new parents giving loving eyes to each other and about to kiss, when now out of shock he tried to say mom and dad, only letting out baby nises, getting reactions from his parents who looked down on him and smiled.

"What do we name him?" Lucia asked

"How about after your father?"

"Hell no."

"Ok, 'hum, how about Adam, after the first man?"

"Adam Bayard, I like it."

Adam, hearing them name him, is shocked to be named the same as his past life, but still lets out happy baby noises to his parents, letting them know he likes it. A bit later, Adam is taken away for checkups and to be laid down to rest. Feeling tired, Adam goes to sleep. Hours later, at midnight, Adam is awoken by a sound in his head, and when he opens his eyes, he sees a string of text in front of him.

Adam's Crying got the attention of the night nurse, who came over and picked him up and started rocking him and singing a lullaby. Calming Adam down until she put him down and left, leaving Adam to think about everything that's happened.

'Ok, ok, so I died and got reborn in Marvel with a system.

'The system is bare bones and nothing overpowered.'

'I can work with this! even though I read all those stories with the Op System!'

'Ok calm down, let's think about this: I don't know where I am, when, or what Marvel universe I'm in.

'So first find out when and where I am, then work my ass off to get stronger because, in any Marvel universe, being weak is just waiting for death, who might or might not be a total bitch.'

'Ok, what did I bring from my last life?'

'Oh, knowledge of companies that will grow big even in Marvel, and depending on which Marvel universe I'm in, I may have a lot of future knowledge or only a little.'

'Practical stuff is my camping and wilderness knowledge and skills, and that's It.'

'Fuck why I didn't live better; I wasted my eighteen years of life.'
