Chapter 8 ( Company matters 1)

As a new day arrived and the sun shined on the earth awakening the people, they had no idea that the events that had transpired were simply indications of the birth of a demon, someone who will change the shape and narrative of this universe for all time.

In a run-down motel, Alex finally opened his eyes and got out of bed, today was a big day and he had a lot to deal with, from returning to his family home to organizing the funeral for his family, and dealing with the family company, he was sure things were chaotic at the moment.

Alex had gotten some clothes from the system for free, and made his way out of the room since his home was very far from here he decided he would call one of the drivers of his family and deal with everything as he heads towards the business first.

It didn't take long for Alex to find a pay phone and made a call, as the phone rang Alex stood waiting patiently before finally a voice sounded.

"Hello." A voice sounded on the other side of the call, and Alex immediately recognized the voice and answered.

"Hank, it's me, I'm at the xxx xxx xxx street in a motel bring me some clothes and food then we will head to the company." Alex spoke quickly.

"...."

But the other side remained silent.

"Hank!" Alex called out.

"Young master? Is it really you?" the voice questioned clearly surprised.

"It is, so hurry up and do as I said, I'm in a hurry." Alex responded and hung up the phone.

Alex then made his way to the front of the motel, he waited outside, ready to leave as soon as Hank arrived, he needed to take care of everything so he could get back to developing the sect and becoming stronger.

Alex waited a while before a black SUV came speeding toward him stopping right in front of him.

The door flung open, and an old man walked out and approached Alex.

"The weather is nice." the man said as he watched Alex observing his every move, hearing the sentence Alex smiled and spoke.

"But death comes just the same."

"Young master, everything you requested is in the jeep." said Hank.

"Good, we will head to the company I expect things have become chaotic haven't they?" Alex asked.

"It's as you said, the shareholders are trying to take your shares after the death of your parents." Hank answered as he held the door open and Alex entered the jeep.

The way their family's company was set up was sixty percent of the shares were in the hands of his mother and father, which were now his after their death, and the remaining forty was split between ten shareholders.

"Hank are the funds my parent prepared enough to carry out the plans they had?" questioned Alex.

"No, currently with all the liquid cash you have it short by another four billion." Hank answered.

"Alright then, sell the shares we have in all other companies to the highest bidder, we are carrying out this plan today." said Alex

"Also make preparation for the funeral, I want it to be done by tomorrow, so the funeral can happen the day after." says Alex.

"Yes sir, don't you want to see them?" Hank asked hesitantly.

"No, I'll see them at the funeral."

For the rest of the drive, Alex changed his clothes slipping into a blue suit, and ate what Hank had brought for him to eat.

It didn't take long for them to arrive at a huge building with a sign on it Vasileios industries.

Alex exited the jeep and he and Hank entered the building as they passed the worker around whispered in shock, clearly, they had heard of the death of his family and were surprised to see him alive.

Alex and Hank didn't stop and made their way to the elevator then to the top of the building to the boardroom.

As the elevator opened Alex headed to the boardroom, while Hank went to carry out the orders Alex had given him.

Alex walked to the door pushed it open and walked in, the room was silent as the ten shareholders stared at him clearly they had already been alerted of his presence at the company.

Alex entered the room as all eyes fell on him, he made his way to the front of the room and spoke.

"Good I see you are all here so I won't have to repeat this, I am going to make you all one offer and you all are going to take it and be satisfied because that's your only choice." Alex spoke seriously.

As he finished speaking the door opened again and a woman entered holding a stack of files, she walked around putting one in front of each of the shareholder present.

"Now, you all are going to sell your shares to me, and I'll buy them at higher than market cost, there will be no discussion you will either sign the papers or I'll get the shares the hard way." Alex said.
