Chapter 15- 'Go Party!'

"I love this book." I said for the impeith time since the last few days.
Ever since we arrived from Paris, Ian has been very busy with his office work that I have not seen him even for once. James too, is not here, as he is occupied within the company because he is the head of the marketing board for Kingsley Enterprises. Sophia is engaged in the bakery, I even called her twice, but she just won't talk to me, saying that she is too occupied in her work!
And mom, she is always at one of her friends' houses; or just traveling around in the city.
So here I am, sitting in this big room of mine, doing nothing but reading books and gazing outside the window.
And man, I am so bored.
I sighed as I turned one more page of my current read, After by Anna Todd.
I just love this book. I kinda hate the way Hardin made a bet to take Tessa's virginity... But still, he was willing to change himself.
The way Anna displayed all the emotions... The regrets, confusion, love, hate, guilt, disgust...
This book is amazing.
I flipped through one more page just as my bedroom door opened and I turned my head up to see James coming towards me. He was dressed in a black suit, underneath of which was a white shirt, his hair were perfectly styled and he looked really smart as he grinned down at me.
I stared at him as he literally jumped on one side of the bed and turned around to face me.
"Long time, no see." I smiled at him as he rolled his eyes.
"Ask your husband about it."
"What did he do?" I frowned.
"What did he do?! He is literally trying to murder all of us! Like, we all are working like slaves for the past few days! And he thinks that is not enough." He sighed before continuing, "Well, I did not tell him to go on a honeymoon."
My eyes widened again and I stared at him, "Who told you he went on a honeymoon?!"
He looked over to me with confusion clearly displayed on his perfect face, "Ian's mom."
I shook my head, "Here is the thing."
I sat up and looked at him. "I and Ian, we DID NOT went for a honeymoon. Let me repeat myself, Amy Kingsley and Ian Kingsley DID NOT went for any kind of honeymoon. DID NOT. Do you really think that he will go anywhere with me, let alone HONEYMOON?! I cannot believe you all. And I can't believe how mom told everyone that we were on a honeymoon. Like, the person who practically hates his wife will go on a honeymoon with her?! That is just---"
"Mmppfh---" I tried to remove James's hands from my mouth as he rolled his eyes.
"Okay I got it. I GOT THAT!" He yelled at my face before removing his hand as I slightly hit his arm.
"Ow! That hurt!" He frowned and rubbed his arm.
"That's what you get for not letting me speak!"
"Whatever." He rolled his eyes.
"So, why are you here?" I asked him as I took the book and placed it on the bedside.
"Oh yeah. I wanted to tell you that tonight is a party. So, you have to get ready." He shrugged and I gave him a confused look.
What kinda party?
"Which party?"
"Ian did not tell you?"
"He would tell me if he would have seen me." I rolled my eyes as he let out a low laugh.
"Kingsley Enterprises just got a billion dollars deal. And just to celebrate such big success, we decided to rewind and throwing a party is the best way to celebrate!"
I grinned and glanced at him, "I am so ready to get out of this room." And with that he stood up and left me there to get ready, but not before telling me to bring Sophia with me too.
As soon as he went out of the room, I took my phone and dialled Sophia's number.
"Hey, I am busy. Talk to you---"
"Wait." I cut her off as she let out a small sigh.
"What happened?" Her voice was heard after sometime and then I heard something clinking on the other side of the line.
"You are coming over here. Ian is throwing a party and James wants you to come here."
As soon as I mentioned about James, the other line went silent.
"Hello?" I spoke after some minutes of silence.
I heard her clearing her throat, and I knew she must have done something embarrassing.
"Okay... So when is the party?"
"Tonight. I think James might have sent someone there to get you. I also want you to help me get ready."
"Oh man. I am so ready to party!" She giggled and I let out a low laugh.
"Then I think I should end here's work." She spoke and I nodded my head at myself.
"Yeah. Okay."

After sometime, I decided to go to the bathroom to take a bath. It was now around five in the evening and the party was going to get started at eight, so I think it would be enough time for me and Sophia to get ready.
I sighed and got up from my bed, just as mom came in.
"Hey mom." I murmured as she hugged me.
"See, I bought my friend's daughter so that you could get ready easily." She motioned behind her and that was when I noticed a girl nearly my age, standing at the doorway with a beautiful smile on her lips.
"Hey." She said as I smiled back at her.
"Why don't you come inside?" I asked her and she moved near us before eyeing me from top to bottom.
"I think it is going to be so easy to work my magic on you."
I frowned at her as she shook her head.
"What? With a beauty like you and magic like mine, I am sure that the whole country will be drooling all over you!" She chuckled and mom laughed.
"Go and take a bath. Let me check something for your dress till then." I nodded and went to the bathroom.
Stripping off of my clothes, I turned on the shower as the cold water hit my skin. I stayed there for sometime before getting out of it and wrapping a towel around myself, I got into some normal clothing before heading back to them when I spotted Sophia.
"Ames!" She squealed and engulfed me into a big hug and practically squeezed me.
"Ouch! Stop squeezing me!"
She let go of me before rolling her eyes. "Bitch this is your room?! I don't know when will my parents marry me off to a hot billionaire! Duh, you are so lucky." She grinned as we all laughed and I shook my head.
"Ready to make all the men head on heels in love with all of us?!" She wiggled her eyebrows at me.
"I don't know!" I chucked as we all laughed.

"What is your name?" I asked the girl who was doing my make-up.
She smiled at me before speaking, "Emily."
"Nice name."
"Yours too." She chuckled before taking one big brush and using it on my face.
I was sitting in front of the full length mirror when Emily was doing my make-up, and mom and Sophia were arguing about which dress would look better on me.
"This one is better!" Sophia sighed.
"No Sophia, just look at this blue one! I swear Amy is going to be looking like an angel in this dress."
"No, she is going to be like a princess in this red dress."
"Can you both stop so that I can concentrate?" Emily rolled her eyes at them as they both huffed.

"And, we are done!" She shouted after sometime and mom and Sophia gasped.
"Damn, you really are something. You are booked for my wedding then." Sophia stared down at me and then to Emily.
"Sophia Emery Scott. You need a checkup." I shook my head as she rolled her eyes.
"Wear this dress." Mom said as Sophia rushed and brought another one.
"No, she is going to wear this one." She huffed.
They both glared at each other before looking at me.
"Wear. This." The both said at the same time as Emily chuckled.
"No, she is going to---"
"I said this one---"
"Are you guys okay?" James's voice was heard and we all turned to see him coming towards us with a confused look on his face.
"Damn look at you! You already look all-ready!" He chuckled and then looked over to his hand where he had two bags.
"Oh yeah. Ian bought you these dresses. Wear any one of them." As soon as the words left his mouth I glanced over to those bags just as all the three women behind me let out a low whistle.
They are really enjoying all this!
"Okay." I nodded at him as he smiled at all of us once more before heading outside the door.
I sighed and looked back to all of them and man, they all were wiggling their eyebrows at me. Even mom! This woman!
Ignoring them, I moved towards my bed and then opening them, my eyes widened as I looked at the dresses he bought for me.
They were amazing... But so much revealing!
They were showing SO MUCH!
I looked over to them, and they were giving them an approving nod?!
"Wear this black one. This matches with your makeup." They all said and I took the black dress in my hands.
It was nice indeed...
It had shiny texture, and it had a very long cut from my right side... Not that I have ever worn any dress like this, but I know it will look nice on me.
I went to the changing room and quickly wore that dress. Man, that was revealing.
Exiting the room, I turned around so that they all were staring at me wide-eyed.
"My best friend is hot."
"My son has an amazing wife."
"Remind me, I am not a bisexual."
"Is it okay?" I ran my hand through the fabric of the dress before looking over to them as they chuckled.
"You are so ready. Just give us sometime. And then all the men are gonna get crazy!"
And with that, I sat down as they all rushed to get themselves ready.

This was Chapter 15! Thank you guys so much for all your support and patience! I just got it all sorted out with my best friend, well, ex-bff, actually... and now I am fine and getting better day by day!😘
I just lost one friend, but I feel like I have you all with me. And that's so amazing! I promise the next chapters are gonna be so amazing!🙂
