I Didn't Want To Burden You Guys

By the time Jonah came back with the popcorn, everyone acted as if nothing had happened. Eden would have to clue him in on what was discussed when they were alone together later but all she could do was pray that the peace held out  for now.

Thankfully, the movie served as an excellent distraction. Ezra was back to his usual self by the time it was over because he was discussing it with fervor.

That didn't lessen Eden's anxiety any though. She was on edge for the rest of the weekend but did still manage to have fun in the meantime. Dropping her family back off at the airport on Sunday night was a relief.

"That was so stressful," she lamented as she buried her face in her hands as soon as they were gone.

Jonah patted her shoulder as best he could while still driving away from the drop-off zone. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I lost a year of my life from the anxiety. But at least it's over now and Ezra doesn't think there's anything weird going on."
