51 Do What You Want

Jonah panicked the moment Eden asked him if he wanted to do something with her in person. Of course he did but that wouldn't exactly work in their rather unique situation, now would it?

He felt like a total idiot for pretending to be called away by his aunt but he couldn't talk about Troy's music as if it was his own. In reality, his entire family was engrossed in a game of Yahtzee  when the call ended. Monopoly must have ended a while ago.

"You were certainly on the phone for a while. Talk about anything good?" Troy teased.

"Shut up," he said miserably.

He had no idea what he was supposed to do now. Was this the time to pretend to move to Missouri or Maryland? He couldn't actually see Eden in person, especially if it involved eating. She would see his face.
