"You met Yang Lei last night? What do you mean met? Did you fix a meeting with him or you probably ran into him somewhere?" Shan asked, trying to make sense of what Lijuan had just said.

"He ran into me rather. My car broke down on my way back from my support group meeting and..."

Lijuan recalled what happened the previous night with Yang Lei. She had been beyond surprised when he covered her head with an umbrella and called her name. 

"We meet again." He said with a small smile as she slowly took the umbrella from him to cover her own body since he was offering it to her.
