95 What news?

"Where is Juan?" Mother Mei asked Jackie when he came inside with a frown on his face. 

"She isn't home?" Jackie asked in alarm. 

"You left the house with her, why are you asking me that question?" Mother Mei asked with a frown. 

"She left me at the shop, so I assumed she came home already." Jackie explained with a worried frown.

"What do you mean she left you at the shop? Why would she leave you at the shop when it's your job to carry her around? Did something happen? Did she get into trouble?" Mother Mei asked Jackie in alarm.

Jackie also looked worried as he narrated everything that had happened to her.

"Oh God!" Mother Mei exclaimed before covering her face with her hands. 

"And why did you delay!?" She asked angrily as she began to frantically search around for her phone.

"I'm sorry. I thought I lost my phone in the shop and was looking around for it but I later realised I left it inside the car."
