323 Putting the past behind

Yiling swore within herself that she was never going to believe anything Lijuan said after today. She should have known better than to take Lijuan's word for it, especially as she had been trying to convince her into seeing Yang Lei for quite sometime.

"So why have you refused to return my umbrella?" Yang Lei asked with a grin as he drove the car. He couldn't believe that Lijuan had deceived them both into meeting.

Fortunately for him, Lijuan had insisted that Yiling take a cab to the restaurant for the meeting since she needed to run an errand with her car. So Yiling had no choice than to go with him. She had insisted she didn't want him to get her new clothes since she could just go home and change into something else, but Yang Lei had insisted he buy her new clothes since she had bumped into the waiter because she was avoiding him. And she also didn't want him to know where she lived.
