Penelope spent most of Thursday morning sleeping and the rest watching part of a docuseries they didn't have in her world about the dairy industry. Before heading to her mother's apartment, she changed from pajamas to a pair of horrendously patterned neon leggings that were probably from the 80s and a plain white t-shirt. 

It seemed like the comfiest non-pajama clothes her counterpart owned. This was why she liked dresses. They were much less constricting than jeans. 

"Are you ready to get cooking?" she asked dramatically as she walked through the door, as if it were a matter of life and death. 

Iris, who was rummaging through the cupboards, actually laughed. "Not as much as you are, apparently. And we do need to go to the store because I don't have much from that list you sent."
