95 Chapter 95 - The Father, The Son, and the...Blonde!?

---3rd Person POV---

Overhead lightning spun faster and faster as a large vortex formed. Seeing the attack start gathering power, Rory realized that something far more terrifying was about to happen. Realizing that once that dropped the entire area would be torn apart, she quickly started giving out directions.

"Lelei! Arpeggio! Other Mages! Get a barrier up immediately!", Rory ordered.

Deciding not to argue at that point in time, the mages formed the strongest barrier they could muster. Knowing that it still wasn't going to be enough to hold back the forces Victor was wielding, she bit her lower lip in frustration. Even her Divinity would be stripped away by this attack, and she'd die along with everyone else which displeased her.

'I haven't even had my turn with him yet!', she complained mentally.

"Looks like all of you could use some assistance.", a silver haired, blue eyed man said appearing behind them.

Reinforcing their barrier, he gave the group a big smile.

"Who are you!?", Saeko said point her blade at him.

"A friend and colleague of Victors.", he said with a calm smile, "No need to be alarmed, I sensed that Victor might have lost his cool with that last stunt his father pulled. I wanted to make sure he didn't have to worry about his friends and family dying from his own attack."

"Not only that...these brats are getting on my last nerve!!", a black haired man said stumbling through a portal with Honoka and Saito on his legs.

"Oh come off it Lucifer.", the silver haired man laughed, "You love kids! You are always watching at least one of Clark's kids, you are their uncle after all."

"No...I dislike snot nosed children with a passion.", Lucifer refuted, "Leaving their boogers everywhere, leaving messes everywhere, and when they don't know how to use the bathroom...ugh!"

"Saito, why are you doing that!", Kikyo sighed as the group from the plane ran over from the landing strip.

Before he could answer another man in blue armor showed up. Apologizing to them, he said the children were getting restless and wanted to come back home. Telling the man to take the two kids, Lucifer quickly cleaned his clothing with magic.

"...this is why I hate children!", Lucifer grumbled.

"You are?", Yuko asked ignoring Lucifer's comment.

"I will explain after Victor deals with his father.", the blue armored man assured her.

Turning their attention back towards the fight, the vortex was about to drop on Titan.

---Victor POV---

Back in the city, I was solely focused on raining down the full fury of the Blade of Olympus on Titan. My goal to completely vaporize Titan and drain him of his Divinity so that he could never regenerate again. Turning to try and leave the area using every ounce of strength he had, he crashed into my barrier. Hammering on the barrier trying to get away, the barrier didn't give an inch to him.

"You aren't leaving here alive you bastard. I am sending you down the River Stix!", I shouted as the sword reached maximum output.

Jamming the sword into the ground the vortex dropped down into the city. Engulfing the entire city and the surrounding countryside, what followed was worse than fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. His bellows filled the air as the vortex ripped his body apart over and over. Draining his Divinity away, the sword devoured every bit he had only increasing the power of the sword. Once it's regeneration was severed, all that it could do was scream out as it was slowly burnt away by the lightning. After a few minutes, the vortex vanish leaving on Wesker in it's wake.

Seeing a sword in his chest, the weapon turned to smoke and the hole closed up. Dropping to his need Wesker coughed up a mouthful of blood before glaring at me. Noticing that his own regeneration was still working, it was clear that the attack had almost exhausted him. No longer a physically fit man, Wesker looked more like a starving beggar. His body had used up everything he had to maintain itself, and now he wasn't even a threat to my children.

"Are you satisfied...now...", he wheezed staring at me.

"Satisfied?", I inquired, "What is satisfying about this?"

"Everything I sacrificed for you destroyed. Umbrella is gone, my plans to rebuild humanity are in ruins, and all of it is your fault!", he howled, "I should have told your mother to abort you!! The only reason I let her have you was to make me look more human."

"Don't blame your problems on me, you pushed me into this.", I snapped walking over to him, "You weren't ever my father, you were just a sperm donor. A father isn't someone that just leaves his only child at Military Boarding School most of his childhood. Fathers don't abandon their children leaving them to fend for themselves when the world goes to shit."

"Haha, I suppose that is a fair assessment.", he laughed seeming to agree with me.

"Humanity has a long road to recovery, and quite frankly it may never go back to what it was. Too many people are left broken after watching their lives be literally torn apart by you. My own family had to watch people they cared about die.", I told him as I stood in front of him.

"If you are expecting me to beg for forgiveness or to apologize, fuck off.", he remarked, "Just kill me already."

Before I could say anything, a portal opened behind Wesker. Stepping into the area, Davoth gave me a smile as he clapped his hands. Having watched the entire battle, he was wary of the Blade of Olympus as it could easily kill him too.

"Bravo, you fared better than I expected.", Davoth chuckled, "You have been holding back for quite a long time."

"What do you want Davoth? This fight is over, and I will be retaking the other side as well.", I told him.

"I have no doubts about that, but I wonder how much will be left on that side.", he stated, "Without any real leadership, do you think the races on that side survived? Why don't you ask this woman what happened to her world."

Pulling Raphtalia through a portal, he pushed her to the ground and put his boot on her head.

"We are divine beings, it is our right to rule over the masses.", Davoth said, "You and I, we have the ability to grant the worthy immortality. Sacrifices are necessary to do so, and trash like this woman were destined to be fuel for that cause."

"After all that time in isolation, you still never gave up on your quest to give your people immortality...", I stated.

"I have lived far longer than you have. After a few centuries, tell me how you feel watching the world around you decay while you remain the same.", he told me, "Eventually all of us Immortals will be left standing in the abyss. It is better to grant immortality to those worthy so civilization will never die out, and we aren't left alone."

"Dude...the more you talk the more I think you just needed a wife or even a pet.", I sighed, "You are willing to slaughter hundreds of trillions to give immortality to a few million."

"They are my people, and we will do what is necessary to survive.", he remarked, "I have seen the destruction of nearly twenty worlds, you are the first person to actually be a threat to me. This world and the other can be yours if you give me your word you will stay out of my way."

"I am just a threat?", I laughed reaching out to Stormbreaker mentally, "I think you are severely overestimating your abilities Davoth."

While I may not be able to bring back Naofumi, I can certainly make sure that I save Raphtalia. Thankfully Davoth was too busy to notice that Stormbreaker was starting to move a few blocks from us.

"You may be an immortal, but you have a lot to learn.", Davoth said pulling his energy sword out, "Allow me to teach you a valuable lesson today boy. Your skills may be great, but experience is better!"

"Uh huh...I think I will teach you one too.", I stated waiting till the absolute last second, "It's called always be aware of your surroundings!"

Rushing forward faster than he could react, I leapt into the air and slammed my feet into his chest. Blasting him away from me, he was going to use his sword to stop his slide when Stormbreaker buried it's axe head into his back. Summoning down a massive bolt of lighting on him, Davoth roared in anger as he was forced to his knees. Feeling himself lose control of his body for a moment, he quickly regained control and looked up at me.

"A cheap tactic boy!", he growled as I summoned the weapon back to me, "If you want to play games so be it!!"

Grabbing a steel beam out of the ground, Davoth jumped into the air hell bent on beating me over the head with it. With a smug smile on my face, I pulled Captain America's shield out of storage and brought it up to block. Since Davoth hadn't seen me use it before, he didn't know not to hit it with his full strength. Slamming the beam on the shield with his full strength, all that energy was redirected right back at him.

Sending him flying across the city, Davoth slammed into the barrier and fell to the ground. Left in a daze from the attack, Davoth barely registered my presence in front of him. Wielding the Excalibur, I went to deliver a deadly blow when another portal opened and black gloved hand reached out and grab Davoth.

"Today isn't the day for you to die Davoth. Our plans require you to continue living.", a vaguely familiar voice said pulling him through the portal, "Till we meet again Victor."

Sensing all traces of Davoth vanish when the portal closed, I clicked my tongue in anger as I returned to Wesker. Sending the heavily injured Raphtalia to Shizuka and Yuko, I stared down at my father.

"Several billion people died, killing you would be a disservice to the people that lost their lives. Oh no...I have something much worse than death in mind for you. Are you familiar with the story of Prometheus?", I said grabbing him by the back of the neck.

Hearing that, Wesker began hurling insults at me. He had no intention of admitting his sins to anyone. Opening a portal to Hell, I was about to walk through when Lucifer chimed in.

"Oh come on!!", Lucifer shouted seeing where I was going, "Hell isn't for all you Goody Goodies to place people for punishment!! I am fed up with listening to their incented screams!!"

"Calm down Lucifer, I will fix that for you. I'd hate for you to lose anymore beauty sleep.", Clark snickered.

"Don't start with me!", Lucifer shouted, "Just because my father adopted you doesn't give you the right to act like we have always been brothers. If anything you are my baby brother, and should respect me!"

"I think someone else is acting like the baby hear.", the silver haired man laughed.

"I hope you choke on your wife's cooking!", Lucifer spat.

Deciding to leave so I didn't have to hear their family discussion, I walked through the portal to Hell and dragged my father down with me. Thanks to Clark's initial visit, I already had access to world jumping and Lucifer's meeting meant I could go to Hell easily. Chaining my father to a scorching hot rock, I cursed him to constantly regenerate while down here. Leaving the Demons of Lucifer's Hell to tear him apart, all I heard from him was curses as the demons devoured his body over and over.

Coming to rejoin the group, I found that Lucifer had left already. Seeing Clark and someone else I didn't recognize there, I shook their hands and thanked them for the help. I hadn't realized my attack would go through the barrier so easily, I had almost killed my own family on accident.

"Before we begin, I just want to say something.", Laura said pulling me into a kiss, "I have to say, I very much approve of his punishment. I will make sure you-"

"Laura...", Saori and Kikyo scolded, "There are children present."

"I get the point, and I do look forward to it.", I chuckled with a wink.

"Alright Victor, I have a lot of questions!!", Saya and Yuko shouted.

"Sure...what do you want to-", I started to say.

"First of all, who are these people!!", Saya shouted pointing at Clark and the other man.

Trying to figure out a way to not tell them about my reincarnation, Clark stepped up to help me out.

"Victor here met me when he was very young. He is someone I chose to help me save your world and others.", Clark said, "This young woman here is from a world that needs his assistance, they are far worse than either your world or Piña's world."

"So you are an Apostle.", Lelei remarked with a nod, "That makes sense."

"I wouldn't say Apostle, more like one of my five personal assistants.", Clark chuckled, "See Victor agreed to help me in exchange for powers which all of you have seen already. I won't go into details as it's his choice to tell who he wants."

"Were you going to tell us?", Maya questioned me.

"Yes.", I admitted, "Clark also agreed to make all of you young, and maintain your youth. That said...I prefer you all the way you are...though Rory could use a few years so I don't get weird looks from-"

Seeing her halberd slam into the ground between my feet, I saw her angry smile. Telling me that my joke wasn't funny, she evidently took offense to it. That said...I did get a lot of looks from people because they thought she was a minor. She couldn't help that her body stopped aging, but I didn't want people thinking I was a lolicon.

"Ahem...", Clark said clearing the air, "Anyways, I don't think you need me to do it at this point. Your magic skills are sufficient to do it yourself."

"I figured you were going to say that, we will get things figured out .", I stated, "Also, is this one of my other colleagues?"

"Correct, my name is-", he started to say.

"STOP!!", a blonde hair woman said poking her head out of a portal, "You can't tell him!"

"Wanda...", Clark sighed, "I have repeatedly told Harley, the children, and you that the portal generator isn't a toy. We have already had several problems with the children just going to random worlds, and one of us having to go get them."

"I am trying to stop spoilers!!", Wanda refuted, "It would be a disservice to the readers if they knew what to expect next."

"What is she taking about...also is that Wanda Wade?", I asked with confusion, "Who is the reader, and what are they reading?"

(Author: Wanda...I told you in the last novel to stop breaking the fourth wall!)

"Oh shut up!!", Wanda shouted at no one, "I was the best part of that last novel!!"

"Is she okay?", Saeko inquired concerned that she was talking to no one.

"I would say yes, but I would be lying...", Clark sighed trying to hide his smirk, "Wanda, let's go home and have lunch. I think you may be hallucinating because you are hungry."

(Author: Yes, please go back home!! Stop making appearances in my bloody novels!! You'll get your return later damn it!!)

"Jokes on you, I will be in all of them!!", she laughed flipping the bird into the sky, "Suck it bitch!"

Once Clark was gone, I was going to ask him for his name again when a very familiar looking woman came through another portal. Knowing full well what she was capable of doing, I thought she might have been here to fight, but I watched her kiss my colleague like they were married.

"Dear, dinner is waiting and you know who is already eyeing the strawberry shortcake you made earlier.", she informed him with a smile.

"I understand, sorry kiddo I can't stay and talk. Duty calls!", he chuckled leaving with her.

"Hang on, is she your wife!?", I gasped.

"Yes?", he replied before realizing what I was getting at, "I like dangerous women, it's fun getting to mellow them out with a firm, loving hand."

Hearing her laugh and smirk at that, I glanced back to make sure my kids didn't hear that. Seeing that their mothers had already taken care of it, I sighed with relief.

'I thought I had dangerous taste...he's married to that backstabbing woman. How does he make sure she won't double cross him?! Her first husband was betrayed by her, and maybe even the second one too...', I thought.

Telling everyone it was time to head home, all of us were ready to celebrate our victory. Making sure to take all the GATE fragments with us before leaving, I would begin working on rebuilding the GATE once everything was settled back down.
