35 Chapter 35 - Ki Awakening

"Rei, don't be an ass to Renka. If she ends up wanting to join our little group I am not saying no.", I told her bluntly, "I am not your exclusive man, nor will I ever be. No matter what happens, I won't stop caring about you Rei."

Sighing, she apologized for getting so snappy with Renka. She had a problem with number of women in camp wanting in our bed. She admitted that she liked Renka and Maya, but there were others like the preppy girls from school that she wanted to execute. She had heard them talking about offering themselves to me, and almost decapitated them there if it weren't for her mother and Saeko. They had been suggesting maybe swaying me to get rid of some of the women in my group. Apparently they thought it wasn't right that a young guy was mixing with mature women. What they didn't realize was that each of my mature lovers was ten times the woman they'd ever be.

Pulling her into a hug, I gave her a deep kiss. Reassuring her that I wasn't going to start taking women left and right, I did say I would add more slowly over time. Reminding her that I promised to always love her, I told her I would remind her body tonight as well which got a smirk out of her. Telling me not to disappoint her I grabbed her butt firmly with devilish grin. Running off pretending to be afraid, I saw an equally naughty smile on her face.

"She nowhere near the yandere Astrid is.", Midna told me, "Astrid has put the fear of god in many unsavory women wanting in your bedroom."

"Oh? I haven't heard anything about that?", I said with a confused look.

"That's because she is scary good at what she does.", Midna informed me, "Like you really don't want to be on her bad side. She broke two people's right arms today in training for make a smug remark about you. When asked she said she got carried away, and apologized to them. The Masters are on to her tricks, but they can't do much since no one else notices."

"Should I be concerned about Renka and Maya?", I questioned, "I don't want either of them being harmed."

"No, she is fine with them since you are the one pursuing them.", Midna assured me, "She's even fine with Kikyo as she is fond of Saito. It's the people approaching you with ill intent that she is scaring away."

"That's nice.", I stated, "Well let's get back."

As I walked into camp Souichiro ran over to ask me about training. Glancing over to Renka and Rei, it appeared that Rei was apologizing to her so she hadn't told everyone. Telling him it was after dinner, he nodded his head and went to tell the others.

---After Dinner---

For those that wanted me to teach them, I taught a class at the center of camp. Those who showed up were Kenichi, Mui, Renka, Shigure, Souichiro, Bob, Maya, Aya, Saeko, Saya, Sayo, Kyoko, and Rei. Telling them to get stretched for training, the group got to it without question. Helping those that needed it, I told them tonight we would be working on Ki control.

"Uh...don't we need to have Ki to learn how to use it?", Kenichi asked, "That's like a high level technique that takes years to unlock, right? How is this going to work?"

"For those that haven't awakened it, the way we will proceed will place you at the beginning of Ki manipulation. Those who have experience will feel how to precisely control it.", I told them.

"Is it going to hurt?", Kenichi questioned.

Opening one of the many books I had collected in my inventory, I did a quick refresher on how to do it before approaching Kenichi. Telling him to stay still, I said to not resist my push or it could seriously injure him. Acknowledging my warning, I proceeded to tell him to shut his eyes. Using a Shaolin technique that stimulated dormant Ki in people, I forced my own Ki through his Ki veins stimulating them to open up. The books I had were a mix of ones I had stolen, and others I had bought as they should up in the store.

Feeling the sensation of being struck by lightning, Kenichi fought the urge to tense up. Thinking of his mother and his little sister, he willed himself to not break down now. Finishing the procedure a few minutes later, I pulled my hands off his chest and forehead. Opening his eyes, he felt a new power in his body that felt foreign yet familiar at the same time. It felt calm at rest, but as it moved around he could feel the power pulsating throughout his body.

"Is this Ki?", he inquired trying to flow it through his body.

"Yes, the energy you feel is Ki. Right now I have opened your pathways, but you will need to work with your Ki to expand them. Ki is an valuable asset to high ranking martial artists, using Ki you can hardened you body to stop bullets, knives, zombie bites, and martial arts strikes. In addition, when you get really good with it you can cycle it through your body like I do when I use my martial arts. The movement of Ki increases the damage you do tenfold easily.", I told him, "Now that you have awakened your Ki, I want you to practice cycling it through your body. You will keep doing it till it travels around smoothly."

"I can do that!", he said before realizing something, "You aren't going to touch the girls like that, are you!?"

'I have people watching me...you think I am going to touch one of the women I am not intimate with like that?', I thought, 'Right now you aren't causing me any problems so I have no reason to pursue Mui. Renka, Maya, Shigure, and Kikyo are the only ones I am pursuing at the moment outside my group.'

"Don't worry, I can do it from their backs.", I chuckled, "I knew my lovers weren't going to care, but the other women would."

Feeling Hayato and Kensei watching me like hawks, the two of them were making sure I didn't touch their granddaughter and daughter, respectively, inappropriately. Doing the same technique with them they sharpened their Ki control further. Telling them to do the same thing as Kenichi, I continued down the line till I got to my lovers.

"The five of you...I need you to know the risk here is significantly greater.", I told them, "It's not life threatening, but the effects are different."

"What do you mean?", Saeko asked.

"This technique works differently when you have been intimate with the person you are performing it on. There is a practice in Chinese Martial arts called Dual Cultivation, it's where a man and woman circulate their Ki between one another during...intimacy.", I said, "Your Ki hasn't awakened yet, but your body knows my energy signature. Doing this technique will be very intense, for them it was like a jolt of lightning...for all of you it will be more of a series of lightning strikes."

"How much stronger is it going to make us?", Saya asked.

"Significantly stronger, but you have to be careful. The sudden increase in strength can cause you to injure yourself.", I told them.

"We want to do it!", they stated without hesitation.

Since they didn't mind my touch, I did it from the front for them. Doing it on Saeko first, she and I had the closest bond. According to manuscript I had, the closer we were the more potent the effect would be. For my lovers they would like be at the point they could start taking in energy from the environment around them, and gain the potential to faintly detect life signs.

Pushing my Ki into Saeko, there was absolutely no resistance to speak of. Her body didn't even respond to the presence of my Ki, it just adapted and allowed it to flow naturally. Feeling a chill come over her, she felt a foreign sensation enter her body. It wasn't bad, but she could feel the destructive nature it gave off.

"You have Destruction Ki, yours is suited for combat.", I stated as I felt her Ki awaken.

"Hold the damn phone, you saying she is special?", Souichiro complained.

"All of you haven't found out the type of Ki your body generates. There is four different types of Ki in this world Destructive, Protective, Healing, and Adaptive Ki. Destructive specializes in combat oriented tasks, Protective deals more with reinforcing structures, weapons, and armor, Healing is specifically for mending injuries, and Adaptive can change to any of the other three at the user's desire.", I said, "Saeko's already found the Ki she generates, and can start using it once she learns to control it."

"Shit, I didn't realize we would be stuck with whatever we are dealt...", Bob stated.

"Having one specific Ki doesn't mean you can't use it for fighting, it just means it isn't your strong suit. My Ki is Adaptive, and I assume yours is too Victor.", Hayato asked me.

"That's correct, if you have Healing or Protective Ki you can still use it to fight. It just means you have to work harder to use it in combat.", I added to Hayato's words.

"Okay.", Souichiro said, "What should I hope to get?"

"Base on your style, it would be best if you ended up with Protective. You are a street fighter so if you aren't using your fists, you are using whatever is at hand.", I told him.

"Cool!", he thanked me.

Going down from there Saya had Protective, Sayo had Destructive, Kyoko had Healing, and Rei had Destructive. With each of them I found no resistance whatsoever, and they all had discovered their type of Ki as well. Letting them work on circulating their Ki, I wanted them to hone their Ki so we could proceed to using it in combat. While they were working on that, I went over to Hayato to see what he thought of the technique.

"It is quite astonishing, where did you get it?", he asked.

"I read an old manuscript in the Library of Congress.", I answered, "They had a lot of old martial arts manuscripts there."

"The level of Ki your lovers have is quiet astonishing.", Kensei said, "You must have practicing a lot..."

"I am not answering that, I am surprised you didn't practice with your wife.", I stated.

"I did...God was cruel, and I ended up having a child every time I tried.", he sighed with a sad expression.

"Jeez...", I remarked, "You know your daughter's right there, right?"

"I am not saying having my children was bad, it was just my luck with being able to do it consistently was terrible.", he retorted, "You have to do it regularly for it to make any real difference. It's difficult to do when your partner is unwilling due to carrying a child."

"DAD!!! I don't want to hear about this!!", Renka shouted not wanting to hear about her mother and father having sex.

Meanwhile Souichiro was thinking of something else entirely.

"You hear that?", Souichiro whispered to Bob, "That means Chiaki and you must be like expert level."

"I am going to pretend you didn't just say that.", Bob groaned.

"You should get her into martial arts too, be something fun for both of you to do.", Souichiro said.

"She isn't into fighting with her fists, she likes pistols and rifles better.", Bob stated, "Besides, her being a sniper is good for our teamwork."

"True.", Souichiro admitted, "Still though, maybe she could enhance the bullets with Ki or something."

Having them cycle their Ki for an hour, the group was exhausted but had made good progress. For those that had just awakened their Ki, they were about a quarter of the way to where I wanted them. As for the ones who had already awakened their Ki, they were getting use to moving it around their body as they moved around the area. One might think it was an easy feat, but it really wasn't. Telling them to call it a night, I told them to work on it in their spare time till they were ready. Bidding everyone a good night, I escorted my lovers to our area.

Getting a shower, I got out and found the women getting ready for bed. Since I had first shift tonight, we would have our fun afterwards so they were going to get some sleep first. Heading topside, I found the camp peacefully quiet as most everyone was in bed. The mini map showed that we were far enough away from the wandering hordes that we should be safe for the night. Walking into the security room, I found Renka, Maya, and Shigure sitting there watching the monitors.

"Uh Shigure, you know your shift is second right?", I asked.

"Master Kensei asked that I ensure you didn't do anything to his daughter.", Shigure said in an uncaring tone.

It wasn't like she was against being here, it just appeared that she was annoyed with how Kensei was acting.

"That stupid man, I am sixteen and able to make my own decisions.", Renka sighed.

"I know, I am not here because he asked. If it were anyone else I would have said no, but I am interested in your martial arts.", Shigure admitted to me, "I haven't seen martial arts like yours, and I wanted to see how you learned it."

"Mostly manuscripts that I...borrowed from the Library of Congress. Several of my martial arts aren't taught anywhere, you have to learn from the lessons former Masters left behind.", I responded.

"Do you maybe have an example?", she asked.

Walking over to my crate, I pulled out a copied manuscript for her. Taking it from me, she opened it up and all three women examined it. Immediately their expressions hardened as they realized they couldn't read what was on it, they could only follow the diagrams.

"What language is this!?", Renka fumed.

"Ancient Chinese.", I sighed, "I assume you can't read it?"

"That...that is true.", she admitted, "I didn't study Ancient Chinese, it was an elective."

"Haha, fair enough.", I chuckled, "I doubt you would have been taught to read something like this anyways."

"What is this a manuscript of?", Maya asked.

"The martial art I won't teach you, Hokuto Shinken.", I answered.

"You learned that martial art from this?!", Shigure said in admiration, "That is very impressive."

'If only you knew that is the plot for the entire Fist of the North Star series...', I thought, 'I was going to use this to pitch my idea to Hollywood to make some extra money to get more supplies. It never happened though...they wouldn't take my calls.'

Trying to make heads or tails of the manuscript for thirty minutes, they gave up and handed it back to me. Putting it away, I took a seat to watch the monitors. Not more than five minutes later, Renka announced that she was bored of sitting around and wanted something to do. Since I was still nurturing relations with these three, I had to be careful on how I approached that. With my other lovers they had a romantic side to them that I nurtured continuously. These three had little to no concept of love, they were martial artists before they were women which made courting them a long and difficult process.

"What do you recommend then Renka? You can circulate your Ki some more if you have the energy to do it.", I said.

"Hmm, why don't you tell us about your travels?", Renka suggested, "None of us have done as much traveling as you have."

"Sure, what do you want to know?", I asked.

"Tell us about your childhood, we don't know what it's like growing up in a military school.", they said.

"Haha!! Sure I can tell you about that.", I chuckled.

Telling them about all the crazy stuff I used to do, they were surprised they let a child do all of it. From exploring the Rocky Mountains to helping disarm landmines, I had gone through a lot of training that had made me who I was. Listening to my stories of wrestling bears, alligators, and sharks they all seemed skeptical till I showed them pictures I had to prove it. The three of them were impressed with my wide array of experiences I had up till now.

"So, what's the long term goal?", Shigure asked.

"Well we know that Umbrella Corp has the ability to control the dead with drones from their base in Raccoon City. I want to strike at their base and take control over their systems. We can then have the zombies start killing each other to cull their numbers, and make a safe place for humanity to start rebuilding.", I answered, "Getting there won't be easy, and there is going to be a lot of danger getting there."

"Sounds like a blast!", Renka laughed, "You take everyone?"

"No, we need to make a home for those that just want to survive. Those of us that want to take the fight to Umbrella will continue on to fight them without them.", I said, "I don't want to risk the lives of people that just want to protect those they love."

"So where do I sign up?", Renka inquired, "I want to go fight!"

"Haha, when the time comes I will ask everyone.", I chuckled.

A short while later our shift ended, and we went to our beds. Walking down to the bunker, I found my lovely ladies waiting for me in the most seductive undergarments they had. Giving me sexy smiles they motioned for me to come to bed.
