Chapter 100 - Hot & Steamy

Author Note: For clarification, Malty is the older sister that did Naofumi dirty at the beginning of the Shield Hero series. Melty is the younger sister that ends up marrying Naofumi later in the series. Just thought I'd call that out as I noticed a few people were mixing them up. Also, Happy Actually 100 chapters!!

"Hey Ada, I got a job for you.", I said having slipped away to find her, "Oh and Alice is here too, I could use your help as well."

"What's up?", Alice asked cleaning her pistols.

"I need you two to watch someone for me.", I said pulling out Malty's picture, "I need her under surveillance for the time being."

"This a woman you want to sleep with...", Ada questioned with a smirk.

"No, she a traitorous woman that could cause issues for us. She is a liar, a manipulator, and above all has no loyalty to anyone but herself.", I told them, "She framed an innocent man claiming he raped her, and has tried to kill her younger sister for the throne on several occasions."

Seeing that I was serious, the two of them listened to what I had to say. Figuring that she may have had something to do with the invasion, I wanted her under surveillance in case my suspicions were correct. Telling them to report back anything suspicious she did, I also said that if she made contact with the enemy to kill her immediately.

"You got it.", Ada said putting the picture in her bra, "If she is a threat, why did you let her come here? Alexia I know was for assistance making a cure, but I don't see why this Malty person should have been allowed in."

"Without proof it would cause friction with the groups. If I had gotten her alone, I would have killed her immediately.", I remarked with a cold stare, "I know how the proper series of events should have played out for her, and she'd have sold her country out to the enemy for her personal benefit. In the event she still has the same personality...I am not letting her hurt anyone here. There is a chance that this change in world events was enough to change her, but I am not holding my breath."

"Got it, we will keep an eye on her.", Alice promised, "If we can get evidence we will get that as well, but no promises."

Thanking the two of them, the two finished what they were doing before heading out to watch her. Knowing them, they would get the other Resident Evil women, except for Alcina, in our settlement involved in watching Malty. All of them had experience doing undercover work, and none of them had issues with killing someone. Leaving it in their hands for now, I opted to help the construction crews with house construction. Since we were in a pinch with a large group of people waiting on us, I designed several different style homes in the system, took the raw materials already set aside, built them in the system, and placed them in the world.

Watching that all happen in the span of a few minutes, several workers fainted while Piña and Queen Mirellia stood their with their mouths hanging open. Asking me how I did that, I told her it was one of the perks that came with my position. Wearing a big smile, Piña handed me several drawings for training grounds, storage buildings, and clinics she had been working on.

"Uh...Piña when did you have time for all this? Also, who helped you draw some these?", I questioned.

"Lelei did, when I am not busy with paperwork I work on things with her. If we are to rebuild, I want to rebuild properly and make sure we can defend ourselves.", Piña told me, "I would like to make it mandatory for people to serve in the military when they come of age. It doesn't mean we are going to war, but I do want people ready to fight if the need arises."

"That's not a bad idea, there were a few smaller countries in our world that did that.", I said with a smile.

"I also wanted to talk about our schooling.", Piña stated, "I would-"

"Piña, now isn't the best time to discuss these things. Why don't we setup a time to formally go over this?", I questioned.

"I understand, I will set something up with Astrid and Kyoko.", she replied.

"Why them?", I inquired.

"Astrid's position is your personal maid/secretary and Kyoko is in charge Education Branch with Miss Nao as her assistant.", Piña told me like I should have known that.

"Is this something you decided at the table the other night?", I remarked.

Looking at me like I was a forgetful husband, she went on to lecture me about my memory.

"Yes, you were...oh wait you went to bed before hand.", Piña remembered.

"Yeah.", I chuckled, "I will need to know what positions you all worked out."

Nodding her head, she told Hamilton to get me a copy of the signed list by tonight. Assuring her it would get done, Hamilton left to take care of that.

"Ahem, Warlord Victor", Queen Mirellia said bowing her head, "I would like to again formally thank you for saving us. After arriving here, all of us could feel the difference between our worlds. The air here is rich and we can breath easily."

'This is Alaska so I'd expect that, just wait till you see places like LA...', I thought, "It's no problem, I am glad I was able to save as many of you as I could. What should I call you by the way, I hate referring to you by a title only."

"Please, Mirellia is fine as I am no longer the Queen of anything now.", she laughed.

"Well then Mirellia, I suggest you relax and recover for the next few days. All of you are in need of some rest and food, once you are all back to normal we will focus on job assignments for everyone.", I told her.

Agreeing with me, she retired for the day and went to her tent. Glancing over at Piña, I told her to work with Mirellia in a few days to spread the workload out between everyone so we didn't lapse in resources. Promising to do so, the Piña and Bozes headed off to speak with Grey about a few things leaving me to hammer out a few dozen structures before calling it myself.

Walking inside our home, everything was pretty quiet. Now that my lovers had picked jobs, most of them would be out and about during the daytime hours. I felt a little bad because I enjoyed coming home to a full house, but I understood that they chose this themselves. Plopping down on the couch, I shut my eyes and started messing with magic spells and enchantments in my system.

Thirty minutes later, the first group of women returned home. Having just left the training field on the beach, Chun-Li and company were ready to relax in the bath. Seeing me on the couch, Juri ran over and jumped on my lap.

"You awake?", she asked.

"What do you think?", I chuckled opening my eyes, "Something I can help you with?"

"Yeah, come shower with us.", Juri snickered, "I'd like a good dicking too."

"Now the truth comes out.", Cammy laughed, "You could have just led with that."

"Meh, I was trying to sound a little lady-like.", Juri shrugged, "It didn't sound right though."

Wrapping an arm around her waist and another under her butt, I stood up and carried her downstairs. Taking that as a yes to her request, the others followed after us making sure to close the door behind us. Walking into the changing room, I set Juri down so we could toss our dirty laundry into the washer before stepping into the shower room.

"It sounds cooler with our title.", Juri laughed, "Our time will be divided between training others, helping you, and relaxing at home with the children."

"All of us agreed we shouldn't work nights, unless absolutely needed.", Cammy said.

"It's important to have a family dinner together.", Chun-Li stated, "Family is the most important thing now, all of us agreed with that sentiment."

"Understandable, but do you think I need help?", I chuckled.

"Well...Midna informed us that you might need backup in some cases as you can't be everywhere at once. We'd like to help carry your burden so you can be around more for your children. I mean...all of us assumed you'd like that.", Mika informed me.

"Of course, there is no point in having children if I am always away.", I replied, "Thank you for considering that."

"Also, Ilulu informed us you have some way of purchasing items using your position as an Apostle.", Laura stated, "Could we potentially bother you for some things? We will pay you back after all."

Asking what they needed, they wanted better training equipment. The makeshift items they had worked, but they were falling apart. They wanted stuff that could keep up with the abuse they were dishing out. Saying I could take care of that, I promised to install the equipment tomorrow.

"Victor!!", Saya shouted running into the house, "We are having some problems with the refugees. Several of them are saying they don't want to be housed near the non-humans."

"Of course they are...", I sighed.

"They took some kids hostage, and are threatening to-"

Not waiting for the end of her statement, I got up and rushed over to the camp where this was all going down. Mirellia was trying her best to get the men to be reasonable, but they weren't listening to her. Piña and the Knights were at a stalemate with them as they had the children at knife point.

"We aren't fucking sharing a tent with these animals!! Some of them are turncoats that kissed the feet of the invaders!!", the leader shouted, "All of you should be killed!!"

"Enough!", I shouted entering their field of view, "I am giving you three seconds to let the children go before I put my foot up your ass. You are entitled to be bitter and upset you lost everything, but taking it out on uninvolved people makes you no better than the invaders you hate. Let them go or you aren't going to like what happens to you."

"Fuck you, just because you brought us here doesn't mean we have to listen to what you-", the leader started to say before he realized I was standing right in front of him.

Letting the child go he went to attack me, but quickly found the Crucible protruding from his back. Pulling it out as I backed away, I beheaded him in front of his comrades. Immediately letting the children go I pointed my sword at them.

"When you stay under my protection you follow my rules. If you don't like being next to someone, find a guard and tell them so we can move you. The next person to pull a stunt like that ends up the same way, do I make myself clear?", I growled at them.

Nodding their heads, the men ran off with their tails between their legs. Asking if he had any family that would want to bury him, Mirellia informed me that he lost his family during the invasion. Saying I would take care of it then, I made sure the children were okay and unharmed. Thanking me, their families were happy the rules didn't apply only to them as it seemed to on their homeworld. Asking Piña to find them better accommodations for them, I didn't want them staying near their attackers tonight.

"I am sorry it had to come that.", Mirellia stated, "They wouldn't listen to me..."

"Don't blame yourself for their actions, hopefully they will learn from this and not do it again.", I told her.

"I hope so, but I doubt it will be over with just that.", she admitted, "Hatred for non-humans runs deep in many countries from our world. Even the destruction of our world isn't likely to change that, only time will."

Taking that into consideration, I decided to do some work on improving race relations. I knew the most hardcore assholes wouldn't change, but those in the middle might be swayed. The non-humans really wanted to make peace so hopefully with the right persuasion the humans could be won over.
