1 1 The beginning

In an infinity expansive empty space there lay a single lonely soul, how long the soul has been there was a mystery, but today unbeknownst to this soul it was about to experience something that would change his life forever.

'Fuck, my head hurts like hell' Eric thought as he started to regain consciousness.

'Wait, where am I?' Eric thought in confusion, which wasn't surprising as he was surrounded by literal nothingness.

'why can't I talk or better yet why does it seem like I don't even have a mouth' and so to try and make sense of this intriguing situation Eric tried to lift his hands to feel his face only to realise that he also had no hands not only that he had no body either, and then like a freight train to the face he realised something.

'oh god am I dead?' this ominous realisation had Eric's brain working at a speed he never thought possible as he tried to piece together what had happened.

But try as he might he could not figure it out he had almost no recollection of any memories at all, the only thing he remembered was a flash of white light and then a pitch black darkness overpowering each and every cell in his body, it wasn't painful just cold, very cold.

But not an external cold the cold which he had experienced had burrowed deep beneath his skin through his flesh and deep into his bones and finally to the very core of his being, there it had taken root and started to blossom into a numbing explosion of nothing as he stopped feeling pain.

Then one by one his bodily functions stopped working his limbs, his senses, his heart and finally his brain. As his mind was starting to collapse from the existential dread of this whole situation his thoughts were Cut off by a voice, but then again it was not really a voice as it was like whatever the words that would have been said were being sent straight into his brain.

'Hello young one.'

Hearing the sudden words from a disembodied voice made Eric become tense with apprehension as, for the last however long it had been since he had become conscious, he had been alone, and so the sudden stimulation of someone or something else speaking was nerve wracking to say the least.

'Who are you?' Eric said through his thoughts, he was pondering who it could have been that was talking when he thought,' it couldn't be god could it?' Eric thought.

Eric had never really had an opinion on religion, well at least he thought he never had an opinion on it who knows maybe he did but as he didn't have many concrete memories at the moment so he was unsure, but as of right now he felt that had no opinion on it, so the thought that there was actually a god, a being that could rule the entire universe from a higher place than the mortal plain was interesting to think about but not too unrealistic as he was in and of himself an Anigma, as he was a consciousness without a body to house it which was very peculiar so why couldn't a god exist, however before he could think more on the subject the voice replied.

'Greetings Eric I am Amura god of resurrection and reincarnation, pleasure to make your acquaintance' Amura said in greeting-full way.

'I'm sure the pleasure is all mine oh almighty god Amura' Eric said at a quickened pace thinking that being respectful was probably the best way to do this as Eric was in fearful of the idea of the self proclaimed god smiting him down for not being, because even if the god was self proclaimed Eric wasn't going to risk dying again as punishment for not being respectful to Amura.

'Relax kid I'm not going to kill you, actually I'm here to do quite the opposite of that, and quit it with the oh almighty god Amura, just calling me Amura is fine.'

'If you say so Amura,' Eric said cautiously still wondering about what was going on, only to realise what Amura had just said,' wait a minute, what do you mean you're here to do the opposite, wait does that mean I'm getting reincarnated?' Eric said in a hopeful way.

'Yep, I'm here to send you to your new life,' Stated the amiable god.

'Am I getting reincarnated back to earth or am I going somewhere new?' Eric asked as he was very curious about where he was going to be going, but then he realised something, he was starting remember things, not everything but most things, like that he was from earth, other than that he also remembered where he used to live and he also recalled who his family and friends were. Eric felt relieved, with his memories finally back it felt like the last puzzle piece of a large irregular puzzle was put into place and so everything was starting to make sense to him now 'so it was truck-kun that got me huh, well I guess there are worse ways to die so it's ok' Eric thought.

'You will be reincarnated to wherever you would like to go' said Amura ignoring Eric's sudden realisation of his own memories as if Amura had already expected this to happen.

'Really?!?' Eric said with unprecedented gusto, this was great as it gave him a lot more freedom in how he would be able to live this second life of his.

'Yep so where do you want to go?' Amura asked curiously intrigued by where Eric would choose to go.

Eric thought for a moment, where did he want to go? It would have to be a world that is not to strong at the start but had enough of a struggle for him to development enough strength to defend himself, and finally this world would have to have a school system so that Eric had the ability to learn the way that the power there worked so that he wouldn't have to stumble blindly to get more strength in the beginning.

Eric could only think of one world that fit the bill, the Harry Potter world, it was balanced in the power to training side of things and with his knowledge of the Harry Potter books, even though he was albeit quite rusty with the knowledge of it as he hadn't read the books in about two years, it should be fine as he still remembered the essentials and so he should be ok.

'Have you thought of the world you want to go to yet?'

'Yes I have, I would like to be sent to the Harry Potter world please Amura' Eric said with an unwavering conviction.

'The Harry Potter world huh, nice choice, ok it seems like it's time to send you off then.' Amura said
'Oh and also I have sent a little gift for you to use in the future, hope you like it'

'What gift?' Asked the confused Eric.

'You'll know of it when it happens,' Amura said nonchalantly,' ok you better not come back too soon ok, goodbye.'

'Goodbye' said Eric happily, but that didn't last long as all of a sudden Eric felt an atrocious pain envelope him that was akin to getting kneaded like fresh dough in readiness to become bread, however even though it was very painful, because he had already died it was somewhat bearable.

After about a minute of that pain assaulting Eric's body the pain suddenly stopped, and then a blinding light encompassed everything, it entered his eyes and it was like the light was burning his retina right off his eye balls, he tried to move his hands to block the light but his control over his arms wasn't developed enough for them to be able to move that way,' uhh being a baby sucks, not being able to move my own body properly feels so weird' thought Eric, then suddenly he heard a voice enter his newborn ears.

"Mark doesn't he look cute?" said a voice that sounded extremely exhausted which Eric assumed was his mother as she had just finished labour.

"Your right Aby he is definitely the cutest baby in the world" replied the voice which was probably Eric's father.

However Eric couldn't think about any of this as now that he was a baby and had very little energy so he instantly fell asleep from exhaustion.
