Chapter 11: Celebration

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Coming!"

I hastily place a shirt on before going to the door, my hair still a bit wet from the shower I took after my morning training.

Pressing a button next the door, they slide open smoothly to reveal one of my 'new' servants, Jeanne D'arc.

"Jeanne? What do you need?"

"I wanted to make sure that you were going to eat breakfast. It's not healthy to skip a meal, Issen-Kun."

I chuckled to myself at hearing that. I summoned Jeanne around two days ago, the girl being overjoyed at being summoned. So overjoyed that she nearly squeezed the life right out of me. Freaking servant strength...*grumble grumble*

I also managed to summon Marie, Amadues, and Siegfried. All three of them making themselves comfortable in Chaldea.

"I was just about to go over there actually. I wanted to take a shower before going to the cafeteria since I was all stinky with sweat. Did you eat already?"

"Um, no."

Even though servants don't need to eat, it still helps keep them in a good mood. Plus it does transfer over to energy for them to use as well.

"I see! Then let's go together!"

I walked slightly slower then usual. The reason? Weight seals. I finally figured it out!

I currently have 300 lbs seals on my wrists and ankles, constantly making me strain ever so slightly.

"How are you liking chaldea?"

I glanced over at Jeanne who smiled happily.

"It's wonderful! Never in my life time did I imagine such a place could exist. There is just so much that Chaldea has! Though Marie is trying to get me to help her with setting up a salon." Jeanne giggled.

I chuckled, remembering when Marie had suddenly come up to me and asked if she could make a salon. It seems she always wished to do something like that, but due to being the queen, she never got the chance.

"Feel free to do whatever you wish. You all have a second chance to do what you couldn't in life. Nothing would make me happier then seeing you all happily living your second lives."

They may be servants, but it's not like I actually treat them as servants. I see it as more of a second chance for them, similar to my own second chance. In a sense, you can think of me as God's servant now that I think about it.

"...doing things we couldn't in life, huh?"

I glanced over at Jeanne who whispered something to herself with a red face, poking her index fingers together with a smile.

"Did you say something?"

"N-no! I was just talking to myself."

Her face got even more red as she waved her hands all over the place.

I raised an eyebrow before shaking my head. I'll never understand women.

The two of us entered the cafeteria, it seems that there was a few people here as well.

Arturia is eating a large meal, stacking up plate after plate, Lily right next to her. At the same table is Siegfried, who's calmly eating his food. At another table there is Cu who was drinking as always, Scathath calmly sipping her own drink.

"What would you like to eat?" Shirou asked.

I ended up ordering a large serving of rice, pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Due to all the training, I'm currently starving.

"Ah, master. We are planning to have a celebration for completing the first Singularity. Make sure to come back to the cafeteria around five." Shirou informed.

"A celebration, huh?"

I paused in my eating before nodding my head.

"Sounds good. Are you going to be cooking?"

"Indeed. It'll be a feast you won't forget." He smirked, crossing his arms.

I chuckled to myself at hearing that. Above all else, it seems that Shirou takes pride in his cooking the most.

Still, it sounds nice to get together with everyone and celebrate our success.

After finishing up my meal, I excused myself from the cafeteria and decided that I would do something I wasn't able to do all that often back in my world.

Play some video games.

"Haah...I don't remember games being so stressful!" Issen wiped off some sweat from his forehead as he glared at the screen saying 'You Died' in large red letters.

Well, it could be his fault for playing the notoriously difficult game known as Dark Souls III.

"...I wonder if I could get Arturia or Lily to play it."

He doubts Jeanne would like the concept all that much, the main character uses souls to get a power up after all. Actually souls are used for just about everything in that game...

Though he never expected a day to come that he would be stronger then a game character. It's actually kind of frustrating, the character runs for like five seconds before their stamina runs out! Why does rolling cost so much stamina anyway!?

Though that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy the game. It's fun to cut loose and play a game for a few hours while the clones continued their training.

Anyway he was actually given all the latest games and consoles within his room. The TV takes up a decent part of the wall it's on.

However, his room is too plain, and way too white. Why on earth is Chaldea so obsessed with the color white?

...maybe he can ask Da Vinci for something like tatami mats and re-color the room or something.

"That doesn't matter right now...now, it's time to play!"

Turning on his sharingan, he starts playing once more!

"""CHEERS!"""

Everyone cheered as we brought our cups together before taking a drink. Jeanne and I are having soda while the others are having things with alcohol. Even Marie is having some wine!

"Hahaha! That singularity wasn't so bad! We can take six more on no problem!" Cu smirked, taking a gulp of his drink.

"Wasn't so bad? You were pretty useless against the dragon though."

"Hah!? You didn't help either, bastard!"

"Yeah, I was too busy saving your ass from Vlad."

I released a sigh upon seeing Shirou and Cu butt heads...again. Why the hell do those two have such a problem with each other?

Deciding to ignore those two, I looked at the table full of food with a small sweatdrop. He really went all out!

Of course both Arturia seem to be having an eating contest by the looks of it, Jeanne, Mashu, and Marie talking as they eat their food, Siegfried and Scathath eating calmly as always alongside Amadues, Roman was eating happily as well.

The scene caused my heart to throb ever so slightly, the memory of my little siblings at the orphanage flashing in my head before I shake it away.

This is a celebration! I can't bring down the mood!

With this thought, I started to stack up plate after plate, eating at a fast yet refined rate.

Of course this all came crashing down the instant one of my clones popped, the same one that has been studying languages for the last three days!

"*Cough* *Cough*!" I pounded my chest.

"Aaahhh! Issen, drink this!"

I took the drink from Roman and chugged it, all attention on me at this point.

"(Haah...Haah...Thank you for that...)"

Everyone looked at me oddly for some reason as I regained my breath.

"Eh? Senpai, I think you just spoke mandarin."

"Oh, did I? Sorry, one of my clones that was studying foreign languages just popped so it surprised me a bit."

The others chuckled as they heard this, the previous atmosphere quickly returning.

"Master, could you explain your odd energy? I noticed that while you have quite a hit of prana, you have even more of another energy source."

"That would be Chakra."

"Chakra?" Lily asked, tilting her head.

"Hmmm, I can't really explain it well. Basically it's a mix of spirit and life energy if I recall...as for how I channel it, it goes through my chakra coils. In a sensethey're similar to magic circuits, however the chakra amount can be increased. Mine is rather high at the moment, so that would probably be the reason behind what you sensed."

"What about your mystic eyes? You've never told us about that." Roman pointed out.

Ah shit. I don't really want to talk about my eyes...well they are my comrades. With that in mind, I switch on my Sharingan, making the tomoe spin lazily as I regard them.

"These aren't mystic eyes as they are more of a bloodline, they rely on chakra not prana."

"Eh!? So they'll be transmitted to your children?" Roman asked seemingly unnerved by the fact that there could be more red eyed people.

"Yep. However, as far as I know, I'm the last Uchiha. As for my children...well let's not worry about that."

I don't know if I'll live to see the day I actually have children, I certainly don't plan on doing so until after Trihexa. I also don't really want my children to ever awaken their sharingan seeing ad you have to go through intense emotional turmoil.

"Anyway, they are called the Sharingan. The stage with the three tomoe is the fully matured form. With this I can predict enemy movement and even see through and copy their techniques, see the energy flow of an object or person, increases visual perception, allows me to cast illusions, and finally it also grants me eidetic memory."

I do wonder if there are any mystic eyes that actually compete with sharingan in this world. I've been hearing the term mystic eyes, but I haven't actually heard of any specific one.

"Wow..."

I felt slightly uncomfortable with the looks they were giving me so I moved on and morphed my eyes to the EMS.

"This form is known as the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Basically they further enhance all of the previously mentioned abilities as well as some new ones. Each eye has its own power."

I held out a hand and conjured an Amaterasu above it.

"With my left eye I can conjure up these black flames, Amaterasu. As you've seen, the flames basically burn everything they touch until nothing remains. With my right eye..."

The ball of flames lengthens and coils around my right arm, not burning me.

"I control the flames and shape them into what I want. Now, when you unlock the powers in both of your eyes, you then have access to the Susanoo. The Susanoo the 'spectral warrior' that you've seen me use. Of course the chakra cost isn't something to scoff at, the more parts I had to the Susanoo, the more chakra it costs."

I'm not going to tell them the way you awaken the sharingan, nor the whole thing on 'the curse of hatred' thing. It'll just worry them needlessly.

I could tell that everyone was shocked, but not too much. After all, they've seen me use them before.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something on Jeanne's face.

"Hm? What's wrong, Issen-Kun?"

"Hold on a sec..."

I reached over the table and took off a piece of rice that was stuck on her face, and then eating it without a second thought.

POOF

Jeanne's face turns as red as an apple! There's even steam coming out of her head!

"T-t-thank you, Issen-Kun..."

I don't get that reaction, was it too intimate? To be honest, I'm confused with our relationship. Haah...I don't understand girls.

"*Cough**Cough*!"

We all turn to Arturia who suddenly started to cough like she's choking.

"Arturia! Are you-"

When I got a good look at her, I froze up. It seems that she had moved on to dessert as the bottom part of her face is covered in vanilla ice cream, making it look like she has Santa's beard.

"What's the matter, master? You look shocked. Is there something on my face?"

"You think there isn't!? That's even more shocking!"

"I-if there is something, c-could you take it off like you did with Ruler?"

"No no no! That's not something I can just take off with a finger! Hold on a second, I'll go get a towel!"

Once Issen left, everyone stared at Arturia with flat looks...well Cu was laughing his ass off.

"You are quite the airhead aren't you, Saber." Siegfried spoke up.

"T-to think my older self beat me to it..."

"I-I didn't do it on purpose." Arturia tried denying.

"Y-you've got a beard! Hahahahaha!!"

It seems that Cu may have had one to many drinks.

"Good for you, Jeanne. It seems that you and master are quite close!" Marie cheered Jeanne on.

Jeanne's face was still a bit flushed, she's not very good in these kind of situations, especially when it involves Issen.

The master hastily ran back into the area with a slightly dampened towel, going straight for Arturia.

"Geez, how did you even get that much on your face anyway?"

Issen scolded the blonde haired girl who closed her eyes as her master gently wiped away the ice cream. Instead of a romantic scene like wgat happened with Jeanne, this looks more like a brother cleaning up his sister.

Either way, Arturia looked like she enjoyed it if her waving ahoge says anything.

The Saber servant wouldn't say it out loud, but she finds her masters presence comforting. It seems to drape over her like a warm blanket. When she saw Issen eat the food off Jeanne's face, she got slightly jealous.

However, it isn't fair! She's the first servant he actually summoned (Mashu doesn't count), she should be spoiled more!

The group settled back down, Cu finally calming down while the rest finish their meals.

"Hey, master. Out of curiosity, how old are you?" Scathath suddenly asked.

It's been bugging her for a little seeing as Issen looks to be in his teens but acts older.

"Hm? I turned 20 a while ago, if I recall correctly."

It's a bit hard for him to keep track, he was in a forest by himself after all. Not to mention the fact that he never really celebrated it before, focusing more on the kids in the orphanage.

"Really? You look more around 17-18..."

"I age well."

More like he doesn't age at all now.

"When is your birthday? It's not on your records now that I think about it." Roman asked, curious.

"May 2nd."

"Oh? It seems that you'll be 21 soon, that's the legal drinking age right?"

"Yeah, alcohol and me don't mix. I don't get drunk, but for some reason I still get the hang over."

"Wait, you've drunken alcohol before?" Jeanne asked in a slightly scolding tone.

"Well, not intentionally. A co-worker in a restaurant I was working at when I was 16 spiked my soda with vodka when I wasn't looking. She then gave me something really spicy which caused me to down the drink. Apparently she wanted to try to get me into bed, or something, but it back fired when I didn't get drunk and instead got extremely hung over. In the end she got fired for serving alcohol to a minor." Issen sweatdropped at the memory.

In a sense, he's not really mad that he can't drink. After all, who knows what would have happened if he did get drunk. Perhaps that's why he doesn't trust women right off the bat.

'Now that I think about it, it seems there was always a weird situation that would happen in my jobs. Haah...that just further proves my bad luck.'

The group seemed to get a kick out of the story as quite a few of them chuckled. They spent the rest of the night telling stories and getting to know each other better.

Hey there everyone! This chapter is more of just a slice of life. I didn't want to just write chapters all about fighting and such, but also wanted to bring the group together more.

Next chapter will be the first event, it involves a certain sakura saber and demon archer.

Thanks for reading!
