1 The start

Just as a disclaimer I don't own any of the anime, movies, tv series or songs that are mentioned or sung in this story. They all belong to their actually owners, but I would recommend going and giving them a read, watch or listen to as I believe they are good. This fan fiction is based off the turn series from 2014. Other than that the only thing I own is my character Stephanie so please enjoy.

"Eri!"

I watched the scene in front of me unfold as Deku reached for Eri, catching her in his outstretched arms and holding onto her as if his life depended on it. The song Might-U playing loudly now in the background as he falls trying to evade Overhauls attacks.

"Come on Midoriya, kick his ass!"

I watch as All for one builds up in the boy just as he is attempting to hold onto the child and protect her at the same time. Just when I presume something bad will happen he jumps from side to side, almost too fast to see, and then he-

*BOOM*

"Oh, are you freaking serious right now?! The one time there is a storm, I don't want the power to go out and it does!"

I unravel myself out of my blanket cocoon to pad on over to the window and see that the transformer outside got struck by lightning.

"Well shit! I should call my parents and see if they still have power."

Now if it was just my building that got hit I would be fine with the power being off, but with the transformer outside blown, it will be down for a long while especially with this storm. I walk over to my phone, that thankfully is on eighty-five percent battery, find my dads number to call him. The other line rings once, twice, three, four, five-

"We are sorry but the number you have dialed has a voicemail box that is full. Plea-"

"Alright dad didn't answer let's call mom."

I looked for my mothers number, click on it and hear it ring. It's goes once, twice, three, fou-

"OMG! I'm the one that gets yelled at for never answering my phone, but when I need them for an actual problem no one answers!"

I walk over to the window again to check the status of the storm. All I see is dark clouds, but so far it hasn't rained.

"That's weird. I don't see lightning anywhere else. Was it just the one and if so that's strange."

I walk towards my closet door just behind my couch to look for some candles. After some moving around, broom falling on my head, moving a bunch of unnecessary junk, I finally find one candle. Yeah, that won't work. I look back over at the window. I haven't heard, seen, or felt any sign that the storm is still on top of me other than the clouds.

"Maybe I have time to go to the store, get some candles and make it back before it actually begins. I have plenty of manga to read so I can deal with that for now until the city gets the power back on."

I look at the clock and notice it's only-

"5:45PM?! Why the fuck is it so dark outside?!"

I quickly walk over to my front door and open the jacket closet right next to it. I slip on my Trafalgar Law sweatshirt and put on my blue sneakers. I look down at myself just to be safe that I am still wearing my red yoga pants. Check. Bra and t-shirt. Check. Sweatshirt. Check. Shoes. Check. Wallet?

"Where the hell is my wallet?"

I scan the area real quick and notice that my wallet is on my kitchen counter. I walk over real quick and pull out a twenty from it. The store is only a ten minute walk from my apartment complex so I shouldn't need anything else except my keys. I grab my keys from right next to my wallet and look at myself in the mirror before stepping outside.

Bright hazel eyes stare right back at me as I look towards my slightly chubby face with slightly pink tinted cheeks and freckles adorning on both sides of my face. My reddish-brown hair is just below my shoulders, all frizzy like because of my curls. The side affect of most of my bloodline being Scottish and Irish from both sides of my parents with only a mix of British in there as well. I did a history project on my bloodline with both my parents help in 7th grade to learn my family history, but that's another story for another day. Right now I need candles.

I finally step outside, turning my light on in the process so I can see when I get back. I turn around to lock my door and once that's done I double check it's locked before walking away. Thus begins my journey to the store. It's not too cold outside for being September and living in New Hampshire, it's just windy enough to make my hair whip behind me as I walk. I look around me as I keep walking noticing people are quickly getting home or just not caring at all. I look up at the sky and see the clouds haven't moved from their spot, as in at all. Almost like they aren't moving what so ever. Just to make sure I'm correct I stop for a moment to just stare up at them and behold they don't move.

"Ok. That's really weird. There is plenty of wind, but the clouds aren't moving."

I shake my head and proceed to walking a lot faster than before.

"Just ignore it Stephanie! Let's get to the store, grab the candles and make it back home before all hell breaks loose."

I pull my hood over my head as I feel an overwhelming feeling of being watched wash over me. I keep walking, making sure I keep my head down, don't stop for anything. I may live in a small peaceful town, but it's always the quiet towns that you least expect anything to happen. I check my phone to see that I still haven't gotten a call back or text from either of my parents.

"Hhmm, I wonder if they laid down for a nap and just haven't woken up yet. It is a Sunday after all and they do have my niece, so it wouldn't surprise me."

I put my phone away just as I'm walking past an ally that seems darker than the rest. As I walk by I hear a loud crash come from just inside the ally. I abruptly stop in my tracks and lock onto the entrance of the ally. I get that feeling of having someone watching me crawl up my spine again making me shiver. Just as I'm about to full on say fuck it and run back home a damn rat coming running out at me.

"Holy shit!"

I jump away from the creature as it runs across the sidewalk and jumps into the sewer opening at the other end.

"I have watched Chucky, Nightmare on elm street, Friday the 13th and I love the show Supernatural! How in the fuck did a damn rat be the first thing to actually make me scared and jump!?"

I shake my head and turn around to continue my talk to the store that is right there.

"Jeez the store is only across the str-AHHHHHHH!"

All I feel is pain! Searing hot pain coursing all through my body from my head all the way down to my toes. All I see is pitch black around me as I scream the loudest scream I have ever heard. My vocal cord feel like they will shred from how high and loud I'm using them. Then, the pain just stops, just as it had begun and I'm falling to my knees. I only have a second to register that I'm no longer in the middle of my quiet home town of warren, but I'm now in the middle of a crop field with a women running at me. I no longer register anything or feel anything before my body even hits the ground.

*I didn't even get to tell anyone good-bye.*
