The Homeroom Teacher paired Cen Lili with Chu Xian, combusting a fire between students. Girls were agitated because another of their male god fell into Cen Lili's basket after Huo Chang.

While the male population was angry because there campus belle was stolen but there were certain people whose jealousy could even burn down the country. One of them was Huo Chang nevertheless he still managed to maintain his calm facade.

Cen Lili being your everyday oblivious girl decided to became friends with Chu Xian. She thought he will fall for her just like others but what she didn't knew was Chu Xian was built different. Chu Xian had only one thing in his mind , that was competition. He hated Huo Chang, from the day he transferred. Not only Huo Chang stole all his merits but his first place also . Hence there was an unknown cold war between the two .

So when Cen Lili became his partner for the competition, Chu Xian thought she was working for Huo Chang and will pull him down . His first impression of her was worst hence he resolutely ignored her approach.

Chu Xian even tried to approach the teacher to change his partners but the teacher refused his request. Hence Chu Xian gave up on the idea of changing partners.

But that didn't stop Cen Lili from pestering Chu Xian everyday who just wanted to be Chu Xian 's friend and best partner . Even though Chu Xian refused her approach, she didn't gave up approaching him , she believed that she can change him .

Chu Xian, the villain couldn't fight against the heroine's halo and finally gave in . But that didn't mean he will change his strict nature. So whenever Cen Lili made mistakes, Chu Xian didn't shy away from scolding her and pointing out her mistakes . Bigger her mistakes will be , the harsher were his scoldings.

Everytime Cen Lili was scolded, she got teary eyed but those tears of her didn't move Chu Xian who believe the principal that mistakes are mistakes no matter what and there is no room for tears .

Cen Lili was aggrieved and complained before Huo Chang and her other suitors while "accidentally" blurting out the plans of the project which was supposed to be a secret between her and Chu Xian.

Huo Chang being the intelligent boy he is , took advantage of it and remodeled his project for the competition.

So when the time came for the competition, Chu Xian who was confident about his project failed miserably while Huo Chang's remodeled project won the competition with flying colours. Chu Xian was accused of plagiarism.

Cen Lili burst out crying saying she didn't know anything and it was all Chu Xian's idea. Cen Lili escaped the judging eyes of millions of people after putting all the blame on Chu Xian.

Chu Xian could only look at Cen Lili with anger and betrayal in his eyes as he was kicked out of the competition. Cen Lili subconsciously hide behind Huo Chang after getting intimidated by Chu Xian's glare . Huo Chang calmly comforted her as he saw Chu Xian being kicked out.

Soon Chu Xian was marked as cheater and was kicked out of Yushen Elite Highschool. All the projects he was working on with various companies too were cancelled. Chu Xian got blacklisted from top colleges and companies in no time .

Chu Xian couldn't take up such huge backlash and decided drink away his depression. He reached at Bailin Bar and Restaurant where coincidentally the heroine worked . Chu Xian was drinking when he saw the heroine happily chatting with a customer . His anger flared up .

When Cen Lili went to get the next orders from the kitchen, Chu Xian pulled her into a blind spot near the toilet and demanded why did she accused him of plagiarism ? Why she destroyed all his hardwork and his life ?

He demanded answers to his questions but Cen Lili could do nothing and could only cry .

Huo Chang along with the 4 suitors and the 5 more new suitors, the heroine gained recently were spying on her . So when they saw Chu Xian making there lover cry , their anger flared up and there yandere mode turned on .

Cen Lili's crying sound attracted commotion and soon many people gathered. When they saw Chu Xian was abusing Cen Lili, feeling sense of justice they decided to beat up Chu Xian on the accusation of harassing a girl .

Cen Lili who was crying and her emotions were unstable couldn't clarify the truth. She cried and watched as Chu Xian was beaten by mob before he was arrested by the police. When she saw the Chu Xian's death glare while he was being dragged, she was scared.

Hence when her suitors came to her rescue she cried out all her grievances and even expressed that she was traumatized by Chu Xian and was afraid he might attack her . That was the final nail to Chu Xian's coffin.

Chu Xian was jailed on harrasment charges. He wasn't given a chance to say his side of story and everyday was beaten by either police or prison mates.

The Chu Family who found out about the incident happened with their beloved Chu Xian pulled out all the assets to free him .

Cen Lili's suitors took advantage of this situation to lead Chu Group into bankruptcy.

They pulled out certain strings and made Chu Family go bankrupt who were trying to bail out Chu Xian. Chu Grandparents couldn't take up such huge shock and died due to heart attack.

When Chu Xian was bailed out of the prison, his mental, physical or emotional condition wasn't good . He found out Chu Family's bankruptcy , Chu Grandparents death and "accidental" deaths of all his uncle and aunts leaving behind his parents and brother only. But then he realised his parents condition too wasn't good . They who used to look young have aged quite a lot . His luxurious house was no more , they now lived in a small congested house . His brother condition too wasn't optimistic. His brother was now managing Chu Retailers after all his dreams were shattered.

Chu Xian couldn't hold it anymore and ultimately went into depression. No matter how much his parents tried, they couldn't bring back the old Chu Xian.

Chu Xian didn't came out of his room until the day his brother's dead body came to home wrapped in white cloth . The police informed him that his brother died during a gun firing by terrorists .

Chu Xian didn't know how much he cried but he cried until his tears dried down . Chu Xian looked at his parents whose condition has worsened even more . Suddenly Chu Xian remembered his brother's words....

" Chu Xian if there is no one left in Chu Family, you have to take the reign and help the Chu name sustain "

At that time Chu Xian was 10 years old , he didn't understand his brother's words but now he understood what he had to do .

After taking care of his brothers funeral , Chu Xian took the charge of Chu Retailers. There were days he won't return home and only survived on noodles. There was also a time he felt like giving up everything but then he remembered his brother's words.

Ultimately he worked more vigorously finally his hardwork beared Chu Retailers grew and the stocks stabilized. Chu Xian was so happy that he wanted to celebrate by buying a VIP meal from Quenshen Restaurant. But before he could do so he was stabbed to death by one of the suitors of Cen Lili.

Not only him but his family too was massacred without leaving a body part by Cen Lili's suitors.

Along with him Lu Xixi's family and Jen Aayu's family too had brutal endings .

Out of everyone only Cen Lili had the happy ending, marrying all her suitors because she couldn't refuse them .

As Chu Xian reached the end of the story, he didn't even realise that tears were falling down his cheeks , wetting the pages .

Until System called him out , Chu Xian didn't snap out to reality .

System panicked after realising the aggressive yet unstable emotions of its host .

Chu Xian eyes were blank as he uttered those words . His eyes held no emotions yet slight desperation could be seen from those eyes .

[ System021 : Yes Yes host I will help ]

Chu Xian : Then System I don't want to die please help me to reborn and take care of my family.

Chu Xian begged the system while crying. His family was destroyed because of him . He blamed himself. If he get a second chance, he swear upon himself that he will correct everything .

[ System021 : It's not your fault host. It's her fault . I will help you host to be reborn. Please don't cry ...Bind with me host]

Chu Xian understand who was "her" in the sentence but didn't say anything he quietly nodded.

Suddenly a ray of light burst from Chu Xian and System021 like strings before being tied into knots .

[ System021 : Congratulations host , Chu Xian on binding with me . I am your System021 . Please give me a name for smooth cooperation ]

Chu Xian suddenly couldn't come up with any name . The only name revolved in his mind was Xero , his Cat's name .

Chu Xian : Xero
