Just a quick word about this book.

Some of this novel contains content designed more for mature audiences. Those chapters will be marked with a MA. Yes, this means things get a little smutty.

Warning-this author does use foul language. At least one of my characters is modern. She curses.

Some chapters do contain violence. This book is about vampires and a serial killer, so ya know, bloodshed, it happens.

Trigger warning-this book also does deal with abusive pasts and relationships, trauma, PTSD, mental health disorders, etc. This author is currently seeking help so is infinitely familiar with this world and has used some of her own experiences here as background information. I urge anyone who has traumas such as these in their lives, please, if you are able, seek help. Don't let it fester like I did, you're worth so much more. Love you!

I do not have a set number of chapters for this book. I am letting it 'write itself' and it seems to be exceeding my expectations. Do we want a happily ever after? Do we want more violence and disaster? Weigh in and we'll see where things go together

There is a lot of pseudo-science in this book. Just roll with it. I wanted to play with making vampires a more realistic premise, but at the same time you have to let some of it be fantasy, because let's be real, it can't all really be explained, can it? Or else we'd actually have some in a laboratory somewhere. Or hell, maybe we do, how do I know?
