45 Raditz training

The next morning everyone was sitting at the dining table having breakfast prepared by the droids. Raditz asked "Kakarot, can you teach me these martial arts you talked about yesterday? I want to become strong. I don't want to be looked down by others any longer." After seeing the power level of Goku and learning that his whole family was super saiyans, Raditz attitude made a 180degree turn. He became docile and more friendly. Goku hearing Raditz ask him to train spoke "Ok. I'll introduce you to someone who could teach you the basics. I also learnt from them. After that I'll train you personally"

Raditz nodded and said "Thank you Kakarot. I just want to beat that Nappa. He was always picking on me and his power is so much higher than mine. I couldn't do anything." Goku nodded "Fine. There's still one year. I'll make sure you are atleast ten times stronger than Vegeta by then". Raditz became wide eyed "Ten times stronger than Vegeta? And in a year? I don't doubt you Kakarot, but after fighting for all these years, my power only reached 1500." Goku nodded. "Learning basics is the hard thing. After that, your power will grow into the millions."

Raditz then asked the million dollar question "So Kakarot, can't you defeat Frieza? Being a super Saiyan and all?" Goku nodded "Actually I'm fifty times stronger than Frieza at his maximum power. As I know, Frieza also has four transformations and in his final transformation his power is 120 million." Raditz once again shocked "So Kakarot, you are saying that you are fifty times stronger than 120 million and I will also be able to achieve that kind of power one day?" Goku smiled and replied "That's just the tip of the Iceberg Raditz. We saiyans have an unlimited potential and go much much higher than you can imagine. As you chose to stay with us, you will see in the future".

Raditz nodded happily and they continued their breakfast. Goku then took Raditz to Korin tower and introduced "Raditz, this is immortal Korin. He can teach you ki control and ki sense. With that you don't have to rely on the scouter and can feel the power of others. Lower your power level to his level and do what he says." Then he looked at Korin "Ah! Korin, long time no see. This is my brother Raditz. Pls take care of him." Both Raditz and Korin nodded. Goku then gave Korin a capsule full of different kinds of fishes which made Korin very happy. He then left Raditz there and returned.

Raditz gave up all his pride. He was always mocked by his companions who were stronger than him. This was the only chance he could get to grow stronger and he wanted to take it. He listened to everything korin thought him. He was not as talented as Goku or mint, but also not too far behind. His power didn't grow at all because he had resigned to his fate after constantly being bullied and mocked by Nappa and Vageta. After a month, he learnt everything that Korin had to teach him. His power level jumped to 2400.

Goku then took him to Namek. Raditz witnessed the change of scenery, but didn't ask how as he thought it was a super saiyan thing. Goku then went to Nail "Yo Nail. This is my brother Raditz. Can you train him for a while?" Nail looked at Raditz checking him out then back at Goku "Goku, you have made me your personal trainer. Who do you think I am?" Goku replied "I think of you as my friend Nail. And after training so many people, you have great experience in training. So I came looking for you. I have to trim my kids. So I'll let you train him till he reaches a good point. Then I'll take over."

Goku then handed the new healing chamber capsules to nail and said "These here are new versions of healing chambers created by bulma. You can push him over the limits and just drop him inside to heal. Make him as strong as you can." Nail nodded and Goku looked towards Raditz "Raditz, this is my friend Nail. I trained with him when I was a kid. He's super strong. So listen to him well". Raditz replied "Fine Kakarot". Goku then turned to nail "Where is piccolo?" Nail replied "He's training inside the gravity room." Goku nodded "Oh. Great. I'll take my leave. Contact me if something comes up." Nail also nodded and Goku teleported back.

Nail then trained Raditz for several months. He introduced him to the Gravity chamber. He also taught Raditz meditation. He put some weighted clothing on Raditz also on his tail for him to overcome the weakness of his tail. Raditz trained hard breaking his limits. Nail also beat him up and threw him inside the healing chamber many times. After some months, Goku arrived and took Raditz to Guru and got his potential unlocked. Guru was hesitant at first, but Goku told him that Raditz was forced to do evil since he was a child and he will join the Galactic patrol in the future to do good, Guru accepted and stimulated his potential.

After getting his potential unlocked, Raditz had a power level of 200,000. Then Nail started to teach him the Kaioken. Raditz took 3 months to learn it. He then started practicing Kaioken all the while strengthening his body to withstand the effects of Kaioken. Finally ten months passed since Raditz arrived on earth. Raditz greatly improved. He never in his life thought that such power levels existed. But now he had achieved such power himself. Raditz could now use 5x Kaioken. Goku at this time arrived at Namek and took Raditz back to earth.
