17 Intention

Long ago where there was only but one existence living in the infinite darkness he himself called void. This existence's features are impossible to see and cannot be comprehended. It can take on any form it wanted, for it is eternal. It also can choose to be anythings it wants. This particular being has no gender and such, but it can choose to have one if it ever wanted.

In the void, this particular being never do anything aside from floating around in this infinite darkness of the void, it has intelligence and is capable of thinking, but it only uses its mind to do one thing.

To question his existence.

(A/N: I'm using "he/his" here so that I can explain it easier.)

This being is always confused about his very own existence. His mind is full of questions such as "What am I?", "Why am I here" or "What should I do?" And many more. He asked those questions to himself many times ever since he grew aware of himself.

He has no emotions, for in this darkness, all are empty. He existed and lived in this empty and dark place, which resulted to him to have no any emotions whatsoever.

He knows the existence of his power, but he never uses it as he believe that it won't be able to change anything in this void. He also thought that it won't answer the questions of his very existence.

He thought as such, until one time, he discovered something that he called as anomaly. After floating for who knows how long, he already became used to the darkness in the void, as such, if there's something different around, he would notice it immediately.

In this void where only darkness and him exist, he found a small peck of glowing orb. It was as small as a grain of sand but he notice it as in this darkness, this small orb is the only thing that is glowing.

The being, for the first time of his life, stopped thinking about questions of his existence and chose to focus in this anomaly he found. He flew close to the small orb and inspected it.

Looking at the small orb, it doesn't do anything aside from glowing slightly but to this being that only knows of darkness, this glowing orb is very new to him and important even.

Curious, the being proceeded to touch it. Touching the small orb, it didn't react in his hands but he can feel something in it. This something are faint pulses that comes from the orb itself. Curious, for the first time ever, the being decided and tried to use its power.

At first, it didn't do anything or changed something in the orb. The being was dissapointed about this and was about to stop, but he then noticed something in the orb.

The pulse became powerful as the sound of it pulsing can even be heard. This surprised the being and for the first time, he was able to gain an emotion. Seeing that new things keep happening, the being decided to use more of his power to see what would happen.

The small orb keep growing as it was fed with the power of this being, its glow became brighter and stronger as the pulses changed into beats.

The being, for some reason, felt something aside from surprise. He felt happiness, as though he finally knew why he exist. His happiness keep grewing more and more until finally, the orb took a shape.

The orb slowly took the shape of a human figure. The brighness around it hid what features the orb changed to. While the orb that changed it's shape into a human figure keep on changing, the being only grew happier seeing the changes on the orb. Until finally, the glow sorrounding the orb weakened. Weak enough to reveal a stunning view. There, in front of the being that only knew darkness, stand a slender woman with godly features.

Her beauty is so stunning that even the being felt something changed inside him, but he still don't know what it is. The woman was bare naked infront of the being as it closed its eyes as though she was sleeping.

The being couldn't be more happier about his new discoveries, wanting to know more, the being touched the woman's face and in turn, the woman opened it's beautiful eyes that resembled a glowing universe.

The woman has a confused and pure expression on her face as she stared at the being infront of her and in turn, the being looked straight at her without removing his hand that was holding the woman's face.

After a long silence, the woman did something new infront of the being. She smiled.

Stunned, the being was confused about what he's feeling now as before, he only felt nothing but emptiness, but now? He seems to be feeling different kind of things inside of him.

Seeing the woman smiling in front of him, the being changed his form to resemble the woman in front of him. And for the first time, his expression are finally visible.

The woman stopped smiling as she then changed her expression into worry. As in front of her, she saw the being changed into something that resembled her, but more masculine. She became worried as she finally saw his expression, he was... Crying.

The being can't be anymore confuse as he can feel his very eyes turning blurry and moistening. He was confused and was now creating various questions into his head until he felt the woman moved. He didn't react until he felt the woman's arms wrapping around him.

Feeling her body closed to his, the being only has one thought.

"Warm".

As tears then poured out his eyes. He never knew it until now. He finally understood when he saw the woman infront of him, he was feeling alone, he didn't know it before but he was actually feeling so lonely. And now, he don't need to feel as such as he can't be anymore happier, but strangely enough, he's still crying.

Is this happiness or sadness? He didn't know as he still didn't decided on what to call these emotions he's experiencing now.

Back in the void, the entity stood there alone as he then stared far into the void with remiscance. Sighing, the entity then shook his head and decided to go back to what he intended to do.

Closing his eyes, the entity then sensed all the souls that he had given wishes in various Universes and Multiverses. He then proceeded to inspect each one of them and focused into the current strongest one.

This soul was given three wishes by the entity himself before and as such, this soul was destined to become powerful. The entity already forgot when he reincarnated this soul or how long has it been, but he doesn't care as he then focused into that particular soul.

"You can now be of used. Be thankful". The entity mumbled.

Raising his hand, the being then grabbed something infront of him and pulled it.

*Riiiippp*

The space itself was being torned as in it came an orb. Grabbing the orb, the entity then swallowed it whole without hesitation.

*Rumble*

The void then rumbled as the entity's aura was rising every second.

But after a while, the entity's aura started calming down. Sighing, the entity then started inspecting himself.

Checking his self, the entity sighed in dejection as he muttered. "Still not enough... I hope those souls I reincarnated became powerful immediately". Shaking his head, the entity then walked away and exited the void.

...

Somewhere in the Universe. In a certain planet where an empire rules the world with its emperor. In a certain room.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH". A woman shrieked in terror loudly.

Hearing the noise, the people guarding outside then went inside the room hurriedly.

Pushing the doors open, the people outside was terrified with what they saw.

In front of them was the woman who just shrieked, she was a servant and was assigned to deliver some snacks to the emperor.

But the woman isn't the reason why they are terrified. They are terrified at what they saw on the bed.

There, laid the emperor, or what resembled the emperor. As it is nothing but a dried up corpse laying on the bed.

The people were terrified as they know this is their emperor as the corpse was wearing the royal clothes that was designed just for the emperor. Not to mention the clothes has a funtion where only one person can wear it as it is blood bound.

That day then remarked the start of chaos that had befalled upon them as their emperor died to unknown reason.

(A/N: I know you guys has a lot of questions and was quite confused. But hold onto that as it would be answered in the future chapters. I would show some flashbacks here and there so stay tuned. Hope you liked the chapter guys. It is quite short as this is just meant to be a flashback chapter.
