15 A good Mother, a great Queen

"Shall we dance?" The Amazons who were stupefied, immediately recovered in their shock as they hurriedly made a distance with each other.

Eight people staring at each other warily, while Aron was taking a stance at the middle. Remembering his question earlier made the sorrounding amazons confused. But they have no time for confusion as one amazon took the lead and attacked the closest one to her.

Like a cue, all amazons dashed with one another, showing off their own various techniques and style in fighting. Aron, seeing the amazons attacking each other, smiled, as he too dashed and joined the battle between the eight amazons that are close to where he is.

Seeing Aron approaching them with such speed, remind them of what happened to Thymos. They all preprared themselves and unknowingly stop fighting with each other as they braced themselves and put all their attention to aron.

Aron arrived infront of them in no time as he skillfully spin the kunai in his right hand and held it in a reverse grip as he lashed it at the closest amazon.

Tha amazon immediately reciprocated by raising her shield to block his attack.

*Ping*

The sound of the kunai and shield hitting each other was heard, but aron was not done yet, as he spun his body quickly, not giving the amazon the chance to recover and delivered a forceful kick into the shield.

*Boom*

The amazon was blasted off along with her shield to where she was previously, and bumped with the Amazon behind her, which in result, knocked the both of them out.

Witnessing aron defeat another one of them, made the sorrounding Amazons unconciously target him. Just like what happen to Thymos, Aron also faced about a dozen Amazons who unconciously teamed up even though it's not their intention in the first place.

He attracted the attention of the sorrounding fighting amazons, thus he was now currently facing about more than a dozen skilled amazons. Aron wasn't disturbed with them teaming up against him, as it instead made his intent to battle much stronger.

Wasting no more time, the amazons attacked Aron from all direction, but he just calmly closed his eyes and opened them wide immediately after. His eyes were now crimson red with three commas slowly spinning in it.

The closest amazon infront of aron accidentally stared directly into his eyes, causing her to froze mid-run. Aron didn't dilly-dally anymore and swung his right hand that has the kunai in it, to the amazon in front.

*Slash*

"Ahhh". The amazon grunted in pain as she woke up from her frozen state but accidentally drop her weapon in return as she now has a huge wound in her shoulder.

*Swiish*

Aron dodged an arrow aimed at his back by twisting his body and kicking the amazon that he disarmed earlier.

*Boom*

The amazon was also blasted off the stage by the force behind the kick as aron then raised his head to find the one who shot the arrow that was aimed at his back.

His crimson red eyes then locked into the one who shot him the arrow as he then threw three hidden shurikens from his anbu clothes.

*Swoosh*

The three shuriken flew into different directions and different angles that seems to avoid the amazon, it confuses her and thought he missed, but aron then suddenly made a pulling motion with his fingers, which caused the shurikens to change directions.

The amazon was surprised by this and was caught of guard as the shuriken then circled around her as she can feel her body getting restricted and being tied, that's when she realized it, as she exclaimed internally. 'Strings!'.

She wanted to escape, but she was too late as Aron pulled her into his direction and gave her a powerful punch right into her abdomen, causing her to vomit blood and being blasted off the stage. This all happened only in a span of less than 5 seconds.

The amazons seems like they didn't see anything as they continue to attack him together from all sides.

Aron skillfully dodged all attacks thrown at him as he uses his mind reading ability to each and every amazons he's facing, and with the help of his sharingan altogether, it make him enter into a state of absolute focus that help him into focusing his attention into someone, long enough to read their minds.

With this strategy, it would look like he can predict the future as he would know the strategy of each amazons against him before they can even move. He would also be able to know their movements by seeing the twitching of their muscles and predict their instinctual attacks.

Aron's movement got faster and faster the longer the fight goes on, he would beat every amazon that would come at him, and if they wouldn't, then he would come straight at them. His movements got better and better, that it seems like he's actually dancing in the battlefield.

His attacks were now more controlled, his movements much swifter and less stiff. His senses also becoming sharper and sharper throughout the battle. Aron was now feeling so alive like never before, his adrenaline keep pumping along with his zenkai that causes him more excitement in the battle.

Aron showed the result of his training in taijustu for the past month, which causes the amazons that were not participating to look at him with awe and admiration, mostly young amazons, as he beat every amazon that would come at him in the stage.

Hippolyta was paying attention at aron ever since he defeated thymos, now, seeing him beat all the amazons around him skillfully, made her realize his current strength. 'He's almost at the same level with Diana!' She thought.

It surprises her so much as she didn't expect him to be this strong, she knew that he was holding back in the fights back then, but she didn't actually expect for him to be almost at Diana's level in terms of strength.

Diana was the champion of the Amazons, daughter of her and the greek god zeus, resulting to diana being a demigod. Now, seeing Aron being this strong at the mere age of 10, made her wonder if he's also a demigod. And if he is, then who were his parents?

Though diana's real strength as a demigod were currently sealed by her bracelets, that still didn't change the fact that a mere 10 year old kid were already almost at the same level in terms of strength with her daughter. He also doesn't shy away in terms of experience, as he looked like he's improving every minute when he's in the battlefield.

Hippolyta fell deep in thought as she thought of many things about aron, as she was worried about her daughter's future. Diana never knew this, but as a mother and a woman herself, hippolyta knew that deep inside, Diana care a lot more about aron, not just of a brother figure, but something more.

Diana herself have no idea about this, but hippolyta can sense it, in the past month, her daughter only grew much fonder of aron as they can always be seen together in their freetime according to the people that she sent to monitor him back then.

She was worried about her daughter and cared for her, that's why she made that final test earlier to test the young boy's resolve as she can't let the boy to grow to be a spineless man as she want her son-in-law to be strong and would not back out in pressure. She was orginally quite reluctant, but after seeing aron's performance now, made her finalize her decision.

Now some might ask, doesn't hippolyta hate men even if they are just a kid? As long as they are male, she would hate them? That might be true, but when she ordered Mala, the one who looks like a cave woman, to forsee the future of themyscira while aron was around. Gave them a huge surprise as what they saw actually shocked both of them. Why? Because they can only see prosperity of their kind. Free of all the bindings that restricted them and most importantly, freedom.

But in their vision, it was also tainted by a little bit of darkness which made them come to the conclusion that as long as Aron would stay as he is and won't go crazy for more power, then they can flourish together.

Mala is one of the most greatest magician in Themyscira, she already predicted somone else's fate many times before and it would always be accurate. She was also the one responsible in creating Diana's double, which is Donna Troy back in the past, though the sad thing was, donna has been kidnapped for so long and they haven't seen her ever since.

Mala is a seclusive type of a person, only quite a few people know of her as she prefer to be in seclusion and study magic. But because of what she saw in the future, made her become interested to their guest, that's also why she greeted Aron earlier before the speech of hippolyta began.

Hippolyta knew he was only a kid, but it's not like he would not grow up after about eight years or so. Eight years isn't a long wait for an amazon as they are immortal as long as they stay here in the island.

Some might think of Hippolyta as someone who uses her own daughter for the benefits of all. But no! She's a smart person, that's why she approached diana many times and assumed the role of a strict queen that wouldn't trust a male. She tested them many times without their knowledge and so that she can actually look like she's angry, she would often cast a hypnotizing magic into herself that would wear down after an hour or so. She did that for a maximum performance as she believed that if she fooled herself, how can she not fool others?

And it indeed fool even aron himself as he only read the current thoughts of the people he's been encountering with, he would not go as far as to read the memory of each and every person he met. That's why he missed Hippolyta's little plan, though he knew that she was testing him, he didn't know the real reason to it.

Some might accuse hippolyta of using Aron for her benefit, but what is a mother if she can't give the best to her daughter? What is a Queen if she can't give the best to her people? She only want the best in both sides, and in return, she would also help aron when the needs arise.
