4 Chapter 4-The Blessing and Bell Cranel

Hestia had recently, about six months ago, adopted a young boy, Bell Cranel, into her Familia, he had recently had an encounter with a minotaur and since then had been growing exponentially, this I already knew, but pretended to be surprised.

Anyway, Bell had been diving deeper and deeper into the dungeon, with the help of a Supporter that he had hired recently.

Hestia being Hestia, had been jealous of her and now was looking for a new member for the Familia that could keep an eye on Bell while in the Dungeon, even though he now had a weapon forged by the legendary Goddess of Smithing to protect him, you could never be too careful.

That's why when she noticed me and my Spirit Aura, an aura that a spirit exudes at all times, she jumped at the chance hoping to convince me to join her Familia or at the very least, act as a Supporter and get Bell to hire me.

"... Please, join my Familia! I'm begging you!"

He voice was wavering with emotions, it was an honestly heartbreaking story, and to hear it first person from a Goddess herself.

It made my decision to join the Loki Familia become a lot more flexible in how I would end up there.

"I had been intending to go and ask the Goddess Loki to join her Familia, but seeing as you are in need of my Services... As a Spirit, a favoured child of the Gods, I can not in good conscience leave you to deal with Bell on your own, I will Help, but there are a few conditions" I said, try8ng to sound convincing.

"Anything!"

"First off, I hold the right to leave your Familia and seek a new home after I judge my services as no longer needed"

Hestia looked hesitant to agree to this at first, but after weighing her options, she agreed.

"From what it sounds like, your very protective of Bell, so as my Second Condition, I want the right to take bell into the dungeon for as long as needed, in order to train him and make sure he can handle himself"

Again, she looked hesitant, but reluctantly agreed.

"And third, If I am to be able to trust you with my secrets, I want you to keep them that way, and make sure Bell does not tell of them either"

She nodded her head, as if expecting me to say it, and Agreed.

"Ok, now that's all done, are you going to give me he Blessing, or is there anything else you want from me?" I said with an inner sigh of relief.

"there is something else, but it can wait till later"

And with that she had me lay down and remove my shirt, so she could apply the Blessing.

The entire time, my hearts we're pounding with excitement.

It didn't help that the process was slightly uncomfortable and a little bit painful, but I endured and after she was done I got to look at my Status while Hestia was breaking out about how many skills and Magics I had.

I was very surprised at how high my stats we're especially for a newbie adventurer, and my skills and Magic were also a Suprise as well, but then again, I was a Spirit, and they were the ones to be sent by the gods in early years to help heroes in their quests.

"I Cant Believe It!" Hestia shouted in joy, she seemed happy to have made a powerful ally that could help Bell, and now that I was in her Familia, her Familia had grown wich also made her happy.

"So, where is this Bell, I'm excited to meet him" I said as I put my shirt on.

"Well He and Lilli have been in the dungeon since this morning, but he should be back any minute now"

I nodded my head, it had been nearly dusk when Hestia had pulled me out of the crowd, so Bel" was due back.

While I waited for him to return, I decided to show Hestia my Spirit Spear Damnation.

First I showed her the capabilities of Living Rope.

Then I transformed it Into It's Guardian form, them the Swarm, then It's Default Spear form.

She was very shocked to see a transforming weapon, and had asked where I go it from.

But As I couldn't tell her it was from a God, I just told her my Older Sister gave it to me when I was younger, and that I has been my trusty companion ever since then.

Heat is was suspicious about this 'older sister' of mine, where did she go? Were did she get a powerful weapon? And why would she just disappear?

Soon after she gave up asking questions, we sat down and talked, that when Bell Arrived back at the church

"Goddess, I'm back-" Bell stopped dead in his tracks and looked at me.

"Oh, Hello I'm Bell, Who are you?"

I just smiled at his innocent looks "My name Is Harlequin, I am a Spirit, and I am the newest member of the Hestia Familia"
