34 To Iwa - Penchant for Hunger

She looked at me, "Do you truly think I should get my arm back?" She asked doubtfully as I nodded.

"Of course. There are no downsides, so why not do so?" I spoke with a casual shrug as the woman took a second to think.

Not a second later, she turned back to me with the slightest bit of determination on her face, "Alright then... I suppose that I'll do it..." She agreed.

Alright, that's really good. Now just turn on those lovely eyes of yours on, and let me do what I need.

'When she activates the Sharingan, send the symbiote fragment to bond to her whole body including the brain to record the Sharingan.'

This would be the first time she has activated the Sharingan since I attached the fragment to her so I wanted to take full advantage of this opportunity to allow the symbiote its first chance at recording the eye's composition.

The symbiote would be able to copy the genetic makeup of the Uchiha eventually and thereby obtain the Sharingan. It's just that the symbiote getting direct access to the Sharingan via activation would speed it up.

Every time Sayuri activates her Sharingan would speed up how long it took for the symbiote to memorize the composition, which was really slow due to her having not used it in a while.

So right now was a pretty good opportunity for the symbiote to get its first glimpse of the Sharingan.

I couldn't get the Rinnegan though which is kind of disappointing.

The Rinnegan seems to only be able to be formed from six paths chakra or the merging of Asura and Indra chakra so it's not like the Symbiote Fragment can copy that.

But for now, I needed Sayuri to activate her Rinnegan which would probably activate her Sharingan as a result.

Luckily, due to the intense emotions being influenced within her, her Sharingan activated almost instinctually.

'Alright, now use that Asura Path of yours...' I thought, getting a bit bored by how long this was taking.

I watched impatiently as Sayuri lowered her shirt under her lost arm and the glow of the Rinnegan peaked through her hair.

She glanced back at me with a bit of hesitation before she gained a determined look and focused her chakra into the Rinne-Sharingan.

After a moment of anticipation, the stub of Sayuri's arm shifted and broke apart, mechanized substances merged with flesh spreading out of the stub and attempting to coalesce into the form of an arm.

However, a sudden goopy black flashed and within a blink of an eye, the new arm seemed to recede back-- a slight layer of black also disappearing with it.

'Huh? Did the symbiote...?'

Sayuri gazed in confusion, "What...? How did...?" She muttered in confusion as I hurriedly dismissed it.

"Probably lost focus, try again, it should work," I spoke kindly as Sayuri sighed and once again channelled chakra.

Not a moment later, the same mechanized flesh constructs spread out from the stub and soon reconstructed into an arm almost identical to her other.

This time, nothing at all happened and the new arm was safely created on Sayuri's stub.

Sayuri's face didn't display many emotions as she wiggled her fingers and bent the elbow, getting used to the feeling once more.

"How does it feel?" I asked calmly as Sayuri hummed in consideration, "Better than I expected."

I nodded at her words but was currently focusing on a conversation with the symbiote within me.

'Excuse me? The hell do you mean it absorbed the Asura arm?' I asked the symbiote incredulously.

'You said to bond to the whole body and it instinctually responded to a new body part being made,' The symbiote explained as I internally sighed.

'So... what? it just has some random arm in its storage?' I thought to myself, not really caring for an answer.

'Unfortunately, yes. It's not all bad though...' Said the symbiote in a strained manner as I curiously responded.

'Oh? What's the good part then? Is it about the symbiote fragment?' I questioned, the symbiote affirming what I said.

'My fragment should almost be done with copying her genetics and will most certainly be ready when we reach Iwa,' it reassured with slight agitation in its tone.

However, as I was about to respond to the symbiote, my silence seemed to have made Sayuri nervous which caused her to do what she did next.

"Okay then, let's keep going," She told me in a rushed manner as she sped up down the road with me staring behind her.

'Why the rush?' I thought to myself before I sighed lightly and ran off behind her who was spreading down the path.

Feeling that we would be running for quite a while, I decided to take the opportunity to train by using a bit of Psychokinesis to slightly lighten my weight.

My speed immediately accelerated with some chakra enhancements as I ran with Sayuri.

[55 Minutes Later]

As the two of us made our way down the path on our way to Iwa, we passed by some civilians and merchants. One of whom I made Sayuri buy a toy from.

It would seem that my body's inner child had peeked through there. Shameful indeed.

But, I mean, on the other hand... This Paddle Ball is pretty gosh darn cool, I will admit.

It also helped with training the telekinesis part of my Psychokinesis by using it to bounce the string ball on the paddle mentally.

And after around an hour of travelling with the intent of reaching the Land of Earth, Sayuri came to a stop with a serious look.

Rain began pouring down from the sky as I confusedly gazed at the dystopian-looking lands before me.

"Akuto. Take this and put it on," Sayuri commanded as she handed me a hooded cloak and put a hood on herself.

I took the dull-coloured cloak and then put it on, still confused by what was happening, "Hey, where are we?" I asked as Sayuri hid her weapons.

"We're close to the Land of Rain," She spoke shortly, grabbing my hand as we made our way down a wet hill.

"Wait, what? Why did we come this way?" I asked worriedly as Sayuri responded, "We didn't. It's just in the way."

"We'll be out of the way in a bit, for now just keep moving," She spoke to me as she covered her face with a cloth.

She brought me in close, "Stay quiet, move quickly, no suspicion," She said, dragging me forward by my arm as she ran forward.

I audibly sighed at her words and grudgingly began dashing behind her as the rain pounded against my body.

I activated my psychokinesis and used it to give my movement a slight boost in speed as I followed behind Sayuri.

My mind was stricken with worry, my eyes frequently glancing left to right as I stayed behind Sayuri.

Despite knowing that a person with godly powers was with me and wrapped around my finger, I was still experiencing intense anxiety just at the feeling of being in this place.

'Damnit, I want to get out of here as soon as--'

'H- Hey, I...' The symbiote suddenly interrupted with a stutter as I narrowed my eyes.

'What? If you have something to say just spit it out.'

'Um, I don't mean to intrude...' The symbiote within me drawled as I responded, 'Hurry it up.'

'I'm feeling very... very hungry...' The symbiote's last words were spoken with a deep guttural growl.

Oh damn. I had forgotten that the symbiote required sustenance other than just living inside me.

'Let me guess? Brains?' I asked jokingly only to feel my body tense up and white blotches appear over my eyes for a short second.

The strange feeling caused me to trip up as we were running and I tumbled to the ground roughly.

Sayuri looked back and was about to help me, but I immediately got back up and swiftly caught back up to her.

'Damnit, stop that! I'll get you some food, just wait!' I told the symbiote as I ran up next to Sayuri.

However, as I approached Sayuri, I smelt an oddly delectable scent and seemed drawn closer to Sayuri.

'Let me eat her head!' The symbiote within me savagely requested in a deeper baritone than normal.

"Fuck no!"

"Be quiet, Akuto...!"

I raised my arms in surrender and then started whispering within my mind, 'No. Be patient then I'll get you some food.'

Luckily, the symbiote seemed to abide by my words and the black veins that had begun creeping on my body, receded.

Getting an idea, I covered my face with my arm, 'Symbiote, take over my nose and sniff out some people. Other than Sayuri.'

As soon as I said that, black goo overcame the middle of my face, forming the top part of a jaw on my upper lip and covering my nose.

'Found food a mile from here!' The symbiote spoke excitedly as my body seemed to start running even faster.

As a result of my running with chakra, my psychokinesis making me lighter, and the symbiote amplifying me, I eventually found myself running faster than Sayuri.

'Are you sure? That isn't too far then. As long as it's on the way, I'll let you eat,' I said appeasingly.

'Hurry. I require sustenance...' It requested desperately as I once again sighed and ran up next to Sayuri.

"Hey, I gotta ask you something," I muttered to Sayuri who gave a slight nod, "How long until we get out of rain territory? I need to eat something."

She hummed briefly, "Just keep running and we'll get there eventually," She whispered as I delved into my thoughts.

Ok, so food is two miles from now, which means it would normally take 30 minutes of running or so to get there-- Accounting for the rough environment of course.

We are superhumans however so it should only take about 10 minutes to get there at the pace we're running.

Which means that we're ever closer to reaching Iwa and finally getting the chance to enact my plan.

At the beginning of this whole shenanigan-- the first time I obtained the system --I recall making a declaration.

I remember so proudly exclaiming that I would conquer the shinobi nations and become a tyrant ruling over them.

At the time, there was such vitriolic desire and hatred, feeling me to want to accomplish just that.

And yet, I have not done anything to further my progress toward this goal of mine.

That was because I had to gain some strength first. Staying relatively low profile and building up my strength was the best thing I could've done.

Because now that I am at a decent level of strength that I feel safe at, I can finally start committing to my mission.

The first step of which involves heading to Iwagakure and meeting Kurotsuchi.

As soon as I get to Iwagakure, my manipulation of Sayuri should be complete and then I can safely do my thing.

Sayuri would be completely under my influence and won't stop me from taking over the village hidden in the stones.

Oh yeah. That's the plan. Infiltrate Iwa with Sayuri and take over the village.

Though, I am quite curious as to what exactly Sayuri meant by needing to visit Iwa on behalf of Naruko.

Was it due to diplomatic reasons? Perhaps something to do with me? Curious that Naruko herself didn't go or say anything.

Or it-- Wait a fucking minute.

Wait... Wait wait wait wait...

Wait... Naruko... Naruko... I feel like I'm forgetting something important...

I might be imagining things but I feel like I'm missing something...

Hmm... Oh-- Oh fuck! The date! How the hell did I forget about that? I stood her up on the date I was supposed to go on in my adult transformation!

Damnit, now she probably hates me-- in my transformation --and I ruined my shot at getting to her.

All that progress and luck in getting closer to Naruko-- wasted because I was forgetful.

Well, whatever, it's a minor setback. The moment I recalled that I forgot about it, many more plans began swirling through my head.

It's annoying that I ruined my progress by just forgetting something as simple as that, but I can't change the past.

Damn, I probably won't be able to approach her in the transformation anymore which sucks.

Still though, I'm sure that after doing what I need to do in Iwa, I'll have no trouble getting closer to her.

The only difference being that I would do it as ME this time.

I have exactly the right abilities to get what I need with Naruko once I get back.

And when the symbiote finally copies Sayuri's Sharingan, I will have the perfect thing to take care of the fox.

Then after that, it will only be a matter of time before I conquer everything in this playground of a world.

There will be mistakes, there will be hiccups, there will be difficulties, but I will succeed with whatever I want.

Everything-- everything --will go my way.
