17 Wizard King

The cold wet feeling of rain fell upon his skin, yet he could not feel anything. His eyes were devoid of emotion. Walking with no set location, as the memories of Reiner and himself played in his head. The memories were pouring salt on his open wound, as the pain in his chest deepened.

Madara made his way back to Reiner's house, as he had nowhere else to go. But staying in the house made the pain worse.

The sound of the thunder and rain kept him sane. As he stared through the window watching the rainfall.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, hours turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Madara there for four months, looking out the window.

In the time he was sitting there, he was accepting Reiner's death. At the end of those four months, Madara got up from his spot and went outside.

The cold air that assaulted his nostrils and face, felt refreshing. Madara then began to do a vigorous workout to make up for four months. Without a second's rest, Madara worked to condition his body better than it was before.

He had one thing on his mind, Strength. For two months, Madara worked his body, mana reserves, and magic power. He wanted nothing more than his name heard and fear amongst the world. He wanted people to tremble whenever speaking of his name.

Right now, he felt as if he could go toe to toe with the wizard king and he could probably beat him whole using his full power. He had no intentions of being the next wizard king, but he was going to be the strongest this world has ever heard of.

As Madara was training, he sensed someone with high magic power coming his way at a fast velocity. He wasn't worried, but he knew whoever it was if they were to fight it would be difficult. Madara was currently sitting in a lotus position, focusing on controlling his vast amount of mana.

A few minutes later, he heard a familiar voice call out to him.

"Hello? Can you hear me?!" The man said, as he walked in front of Madara, but kept his distance.

A man with short messy blonde hair, purple eyes, and a blue six-star symbol on the left side of his forehead.

His attire consists of a shirt and pants of similar color and designs. The white shirt has a high collar with black fur at the end, and intricate gold and purple-colored designs on its circumference. The shirt also has long sleeves with light purple cuffs, which have similar black fur and designs. A pair of gold ring-shaped ornaments are also decorating the upper and lower parts of each sleeve.

On top of everything, he wears a long red robe that covers his entire body. The part of his robe which covers his torso is decorated with white fur. On top of the fur, he wears a gold necklace and a couple of medals. One of those medals, a gold medal with a green cross, is positioned on the left side of his chest while the other, a shield with gold and red colors, is positioned on his right side.

Additionally, a pair of robes are protruding from the fur on his right back. Furthermore, the robe only has a single sleeve for his right arm.

This man was known as Julius Novachrono. The current wizard king of the clover kingdom.

"Can I help you?" Madara asked not moving an inch from where he was sitting.

Julius saw a boy with long spiky hair with a tint of blue. He had on blue pants that were too big for him, and he had his shirt that displayed the many scars on his body.

Madara kept these scars to remind him of his weakness. This was another reason he worked so hard.

"May I ask you name?" Julius said in a polite tone with a smile.

"Madara..." Madara said as he started to get annoyed.

"I, am, Julius Novachrono. Can I ask what you're doing out here?" Julius asked with a smile on his face.

"Are you going to keep asking me these foolish questions or get to the real reason your out here?!" Madara asked getting ready to walk away.

"Six months ago, I sensed a large amount of magic power from this location. I assume this was you?" Julius asked waiting for his response.

"If it was, what would that have to do with you?" Madara asked as he stood up to look Julius in the eyes.

"It would be so exciting to see it up close! I also want to know what magic you possess, can you show me?!" Julius said as he got close and personal to Madara. He had the gleaming look of excitement in his eyes.

Madara didn't say anything, as a bright white aura emitted from Madaras' body. The aura grew a few feet above Madara and Julius. The amount of mana he was emitting made Julius nervous, but mostly excited.

The pressure from his mana was more than enough for the trees to come up from the ground along with the dirt. Madara released all of his mana because he needed the element of surprise.

Madara stopped emitting the aura from his body, as the winds returned to calm and the ground stopped coming up. Julius had a look of excitement that annoyed Madara.

"Amazing! Can you show me what skills you have now?!" Julius said getting eager and impatient.

"How about we have a friendly spar, then you can see them," Madara said trying to hide the grin the was creeping on his face.

"Sure! Wait, I'm not supposed to be fighting especially ones who pose no threat. Hearing those words angered Madara, as he threw a hard right to Julius' stomach.

Julius then disappeared from his spot as he ended up a few meters behind Madara. Madara already anticipated he would that, so he already had a fireball prepared.

[Fire Release: Grand Fireball Jutsu]

Madara aimed it to the left side of Julius so he would doge to the left. Seeing a fireball rush at him at immense speed and heat, Julius dodged to the left with ease. What he didn't expect was for Madara to have two fireballs atop of his hand, waiting for him to dodge to the left.

Madara threw them before he dodged because he knew his grand fireball would distract him from the small ones.

'That was smart, but his magic is fire. I've seen it too many times. It's not exciting anymore.' Julius thought as Madara disappeared. He couldn't sense his mana either.

Madara had placed fireballs all around Julius and they were staying in one spot. This confused Julius until he saw a shadow, then looked above him to see Madara. Madara had planted five fireballs. Julius didn't care for them because they were too weak to be Madara.

Madara then shot five waterfalls at the fireballs. The collision created water vapor that covered the vicinity. Madara had masked his mana and Julius was blind. He could fly out, but he wanted to see where this was going.

Madara, not a sound when he stepped. He dashed toward Julius with his back turned. Madara successfully kicked Julius in the back. Julius was stunned that he was able to land an attack m him, but most of all he was getting excited.

That's when he felt mana building above him. Julius looked up to see Madara in the air, not moving. When someone would jump in the air, they would be descending or fidgeting a bit, but not with Madara.

"Is he flying?!" Julius asked himself with excitement behind his voice. He was seeing what Madara was going to do next.

[Sun Magic: Sun Sphere]

A magic Madara created. It took the properties of the sun, around the size of a house. Julius noticed that this orange ball of fire was different from the other fire magic he used. Being lost in thought, Madara threw the ball toward Julius.

Madara activated his Sharingan and waits for Julius to use his time magic. Noticing the mana was getting closer, Julius had enough time to dodge but wanted to surprise Madara.

[Time Restraining Magic: Chrono Stasis]

Right there, Madara copied his magic. Julius put his hand forward, and manifest a blue sphere in front of him. The sphere had a ring around it, that had roman numerals on it.

Then in a few seconds, his sun magic disappeared inside of the sphere. Julius looked up to expect a surprised look on Madaras' face, but he was nowhere to be found.

[Wind Magic: Rising Tornado]

A tornado was created beneath Julius' feet, as he was propelled into the air. To say the least, he was shocked beyond belief. How could someone use so many elements? How does he how so much control over them, he doesn't look over twelve?

So many questions with no answers. Julius escaped from the tornado a whole ago but was still thinking about how fascinating this boy was. Julius descended to meet face to face with Madara.

"That was so exciting! I didn't know you could use more than one element, It's so rare!" Julius said then got serious because he saw the unamused looked on Madaras' face.

"Why don't you come to the clover kingdom with me? There's a lot more out there, you should join the magic knight too!" Julius said before getting cut off.

"What? did you think that I was training for the fun of it?" Madara asked looking at Julius as if he were stupid.

"No, I was just saying you are very strong and you should join the magic knights," Julius said scratching the back on his head.

"I was going to do that," Madara said as he took a deep breath.

"Excellent! I shall see you in three years!" Julius said with a smile as he flew off in the direction of the clover kingdom.

"God was he annoying!" Madara said as he went back to training.

Each minute turned into hours, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks, weeks turned in months, and months turned into years.

Madara was now fifteen and on his way to the grimoire tower.
