16 chapter 15 : Omnitrix

After we arrived at camp site grandpa max asked for my help to lift up some boxes with cooking appliances and i agreed with hesitation.

Ben and gwen moved outside. Ben was playing video games and gwen was immersed in her laptop.

Me and grandpa started cooking cooking . Grandpa was making stired fried crocodile with marinated worm if I remember correctly he only made worms in original just made some marinated worms. Then I started making some chili chicken wraps and something to drink.

I knew I would win even if I served them some rice with salt. We both present our dishs and max said "My dish is stired fried crocodile with marinated worms on side, you don't know how difficult it is to get them in state's. They are considered a delicacy in some countries. ".

Then I said " My is just chili chicken warps with soda on side. "

They immediately looked at me and understood what I meant by "exotic cuisine".

They first tasted my dish and said " It spicy but good" Then they looked at grandpa's dish. I looked at them "You can taste crocodile as it taste just like chicken" I said while taking a bite from Gwen's food. It was actually better than my food if grandpa didn't gave them worms then he would have won.

They both took a bite of crocodile they liked it. But in the end I won . They don't want to eat worm for entire summer.

After dinner went grandpa wanted to tell us some stories about his past , I was interested in it but ben was playing games and gwen was on her laptop.

After a while ben lost the game and went to the forest. After five minutes my phone start beeping . I knew what is was about. Grandpa asked me what it was about I said "some meteorite is falling within 80km radius. Nothing to be worried about. "

Grandpa then asked me how did I knew about this I said "I made a mini satellite for better access for Jarvis , it just informated me. "

Before grandpa could say something else he saw fire in the forest. Grandpa then said "Must be a careless camper play with thing ge should be" .Then we all said in unison "BEN"

Grandpa quick take out two fire extinguisher and gave one to me. I quickly passed it to gwen you take this I will call the fire department.

Grandpa looked at me then he understood I was planning on using my power. He nodded and said "do it quickly " before they both headed toward the fire.

I just followed gwen and saw gwen and ben in Heatblast form fight. I waited for the right moment just as ben used his power to light her shoes on fire. I screamed "GWEN".

and quickly used a mana blast just strong enough to knock him in the tree.

After the commotion grandpa came running towards us and asked what happened.

I quickly said in a worried voice " Meteorite I told you about looks like it was a pyronite. He attacked gwen so i used my powers on him. We need to find ben quic..... " Before I can complete my sentence ben transform back and said "my head hurt . How did you do that."

We all have a shocked expression on our faces mine was faked. I can get an Oscar for my acting skills.

Gwen looked at ben and then at me and said

"How? Just how did you both do that. "

"I was just walking in the forest when suddenly a meteorite fell from sky. When I looked at it.then suddenly a cool looking watch jumped onto my hand and got sucked. When I tried to get it off it dail popped up when I pressed it dwn it. Transformed me into that. "

Ben completed his explaination and they both looked at me.

"I will tell you later the fire is growing, grandpa please take them to safety. " I said as grandpa quickly picked up ben and gwen and i started using water magic to extinguish fire.

(Ben's pov)

Today has been a unique day i guess . First i got punished by teacher for pulling a prank, then fight with cash and JD. After that i found out that my cousin will come on trip minato is alright but gwen * agrr* . Then I almost got hit by an astroid and got a watch which can transform me into a fire monster , minato can do magic and grandpa is acting super suspiciously.

"Grandpa what's happening and how minato can do magic. " I asked grandpa as we reached the campsite and grandpa was leaving to get minato.

"Yes, grandpa what was that blue thing" Gwen asked.

"I will tell you about that after I bring back minato and check if everything ok. Just wait here" Grandpa said as he rushed toward where fire was.

After 5 mins I looked at the watch and tried to use it as gwen said "you should be playing that. "

I looked at her and said "aren't you curious what this watch can do or how minato can do magic".

" No I am not interested. "Gwen said.

"How are we even related. " I said.

After I extinguished the fire I started searching for omnitrix capsule as in original it was destroyed by Vilgax's robots but I want to know if it has any thing useful in it as it was made by Azmuth.

Soon grandpa found me and said " They are going to ask a lot of question after what you just pulled ".

" We were going to tell gwen about it anyways but what happened to Ben is more important here. I have been surfing on not so safe side of extranet secretly and found some interesting rumours about the latest creation of the first thinker which was going to help multiple alien species to understand each other . Any guess on what it could be". I said.

"So you mean the device on Ben's hand is Azmuth creation. It is going to be dangerous many people are going to come after it. We have to do something. " Max replied grimly.

"We can't do anything about it I have scanned watch for a brief second and found it is genetically bonded to Ben. So we can either cut Ben arm and I try my mana to regrow Ben's arm which I am not 100% sure I can do or we protect Ben until we found a solution. " I said. I was really not sure if I can regrow Ben's arm as I haven't done it before I can reattach it but it will be for nothing.

"So we just have protect Ben and find a way to remove that watch from Ben. Can you remove it with your powers. " Max asked.

"It is possible but I don't have resources for the machine which can remove the watch as it is genetically bonded to Ben. I need very high level tech for it. And I am scared of the defense mechanism that Azmuth might have put in that watch. I wouldn't be surprised if that thing has a self-destruct mode which can kill the use with it."I said half truth as even if I don't have resources I can make them I just need a few months and help from Cooper or dad.

I don't want to deviate to much from canon at first I thought I should change canon and get omnitrix but then I thought that omnitrix is not that powerful anyway as it just let the user transform into alien with unique powers but unless the alien are alien x, clockwork, atomix or gravitact they are not any stronger that my base form.

"So we can do nothing. Then let's go. " Max said with a bit of disappointed.

"No we should first check the out the place where that watch crashed because I don't think that something like that would just crash on earth near a world famous plumber just by some coincidence. " I said.

"So you mean someone was chasing after the the watch and they send it to earth so that I can protect it. Looks like the summer trip is going to be exciting " Max said while giving me a half-smile.

"Looks like it. " I said as we both arrived at the crash site there was nothing there looks like I was late.
